This was originaly going to be a thread for Atreyu, but I find afi more original, not sure why. I'm pretty big on this band, I'm thinking I'm in love with there newer albums though, [sing the sorrow.]
What are your opinions on this band?

I used to listen to some older songs of theirs, and then I just lost interest. I know they were one of the many bands that influenced Avenged Sevenfold though.

afi rocks, my friend and his girlfriend had tickets to warped tour, but the two had a short conflict and he didnt get to go, even though he was looking forward to it since he heard afi was in it

AFI is one of my fav bands.I went to one of their concerts theyre pretty good live

I love AFI! I like their newer music better but their old stuff is good, too.

i've only listened to soem of their newer songs as i really just heard about them but so far i like them quite a bit though i still have to actually get their new album though im thinking of checking into their older music as well

Their old stuff will always be the best personally but their new stuff itsn't that bad although Sing the Sorrow was one of their better albums. Decemberunderground isn't all that great but has a few good songs:

Summer Shudder
The Interview
Love Like Winter
Kiss and Contol
But that's about it.

AFI...now there's a band. I love them so unbelievably much. I love all their stuff. Old and new. I know a lot of people hated their new album but I think their change in sound is good. Just like Black Sails and Sing The Sorrow.
