Name of Herla: Anina Name of Familiar: Chozo Response: She lay at the side of the water, her eyes closed as whispers were heard. Through the trees, through the bushes, the grass and even on the wind. She wasn't worried or scared though, her eyes opened to look to the sound of her companion's hooves, him carrying along what could have been a full rose bush resting upon his small form. It made her smile. "I said a few dear." Her nose touched his head as she appreciated what he'd done. "Here. Help me begin plucking them off." The pair began, careful not to damage the roses, nor themselves on the sharp thorns. A hum entertaining them as they worked until the thorny bush was all that was left. Overhead, a black bird gave a tired cry, the sun beginning to set. "Ah, it's starting to get night." She stood up, tail waving as she looked to the Goatling, whom was holding a few roses still. "Place them in." She herself picked up a few bottle caps, placing one on every other rose, the flowers drifting in the calm water of the pond they were so near. "Rest well each of you, though you rest with us no longer." She placed a few flowers in as well, pushing them slightly to make sure they were going along, drifting as spirits would, or so she imagined. Chozo bleated, eyes shutting as he thought his own words. Each year they did this, to honor their lost friends and family, to let them know they still loved them deeply. And to let them know that they were never out of their minds. "Let your continued rest be so peaceful. I love and miss you each and every day." Anina moved to kneel, her tail tucking close as she gazed at the flowers, each one special and full of care. Chozo began to dance about that time, something he seemed to start all the time, dancing with his family and friends for a while before he was joined by the female, her long legs carefully stepping around him. They danced until they grew tired and soon had to settle and rest. The first to lay down was Anina, whom smiled as her Goatling curled up at her side. "I trust us to be safe under your watch." She looked up. "And we promise to speak more tomorrow. But for now, we are tired... and perhaps you might find a visit fine as we sleep?" Her head settled down by then, a tired bleat from Chozo as his eyes shut. They would have their final words the next day, after rest of course.
