Just got Hitman Absolution last night. I haven't had much time to play it so far, but it seems to be a really good game for as far as I've gotten. I will post back with my thoughts as I progress.

Beat the game with Silent Assasin rank on all applicable missions. Looking to complete on purist mode now which will be quite a challenge. The game's AI is more bearable than it was in previous incarnations. Gameplay is much improved and gives you crap tons of options when trying to complete your objective. Disguises are now practically useless which kind of makes sense considering that in this incarnation, almost everyone has heard of 47. The addition of a scoring/ranking system was an interesting twist, but I prefer to simply play the game and not worry about that kind of s**t. Graphics are amazing. Physics engine is a bit meh, but it doesn't really matter too much considering it's not really supposed to be a shooter or anything like that. The inability to walk in with customized weapons like you could in Blood Money's story was a bit of a letdown, but you can do so in the new Contracts mode which allows you to play custom-built contracts that other players have made. The AI is still far from perfect, but it is a major improvement over, say Blood Money. On higher difficulties, NPCs will see through your disguises from across the room with your back turned to them yet they won't notice a bald dude in a suit and tie sneaking around, rolling past them, and sprinting all over the place. This gets really ridiculous in the last few missions where you can literally roll straight behind a guard to which he will simply turn around and say something like "Touch me again and I'll shoot you" despite never officially "noticing" you and turn back around as if no one was ever there. The line of sight of the AI is very limited and can be very easily exploited. I've been able to sneak by certain guards by simply sneaking around their backsides as they slowly turn around and move on to my objective. Creating distractions in this game are just as OP as they were in blood money, if not moreso now that there are so many hiding spots. It is very simple to toss a wrench on the ground, hide in a closet, wait for your target to walk past, sneak out, fiber wire them, and hide them in aforementioned closet. The game is actually a pretty easy play now that you've been given so many options to outsmart the as-always dim-witted AI. I would definitely say it's a game that pretty much anyone can play regardless of playstyle.
