Citrus Novii I'm so freaking scared of getting an infection. Mine has had to reheal like twice now, and it was awful both times. Because when I switched to a shorter post there was SO MUCH SWELLING. So I had to go back to a longer post, and UUGHDSKFLASKFDASKDAS~ I ADORE gauges though. They're sexy on dudes, AND on women. emotion_kirakira I could never get them though. They look like they hurt. Says the girl who got a tattoo on one of the rumored most painful places on the body lol. XD
My bro got ear infections a couple times. Though a couple times he did his own piercing as well using sewing needles...so...yeah.
Gauges Im not a fan of. Piercings I am cool with because should you ever want it to heal over, if you just leave nothing in it with time it will. Where as guaging there is a well defined point of no return.
Although I dont have a tattoo I have a lot of tattoo'd friends, and I am the only one in my immediate family without one. From what Ive heard besides a really obvious area ankles and spines are the worst.
My bro is pretty well covered.
is my mums last one (I designed my mums tramp stamp, but thats much more basic).
I have a idea of what I want, but I need to get someone really artistic to draw it up for me. |

I think the worst piercing story Ive heard was someone who tried to pierce thier n****e. And caught a nerve which was pushed out, and for some reason they thought they could just cut it away. Which basically instantly dropped them to the ground and brought them a ambulance trip and surgery.
Im not a "I need a tattoo" sort of person. But I have a "verbal" gift agreement with my parents, which means for my 18th birthday they will pay for my first tattoo. Although the time has longed passed my mum said a while ago she would still honor it.
But when I get one, in consideration of my working future it would need to be easily hidden under a teeshirt.
And in personal views it will have to be highly significant to me.

What I want is something along those lines (of course skillfully done, and not tacky looking which is the issue). But basically something along the lines of a tiger and a wolf passing/standing by each other (but not interacting), and a spider above them. Getting the spider in there without it being really tacky is something Im struggling with.
As weird as the combo is, those three all are part of a spiritual trinity which symbolises what is important to me, and how I view my own take and approach on life, as well as my personal views. (as agnostic as I am...I am still kinda guided by spirit totems, though that isnt to say that I view those totems as anything that exists outside of my own mind)...Anyways....
Thanks, I could maybe try and get a pic of the one I made for mum, like I said it was pretty basic, but it combined what she was looking for in a way that we both agreed on. |

Because well, it's true. Even when times are tough, there's always someone watching your back, there's always someone who loves you and wants to see you smile.

Yeah to me they should have meaning. But if someone gets on just because they think it looks cool thats thier choice.
I think one of my bros best one is the "Just breath" down his chest. Dedicated to a friend with "cystic fibrosis" aka the one that I talked about in the guild a lil while ago who went through a double lung transplant, and also lost a eye as a complication of a infection after that. But Hes out now and mostly doing good. |
