How often are you going outside atm?

Light therapy is of of the best ways for treating/combating Sad, since sad's often dont get out so much. Though for those who cant afford such. Getting natural light is considered much the same. (I actually would say its better).

I think I remember you saying something about exercise a while back?

If your not doing it already I would recomend forcing your self into going for a walk within the first couple hours of waking up. 20-30 mins if poss.

Like most problems that come based on brain chemistry, the proactive approach is usually the best. Exercise of course has a massive bunch of other positive brain chemistry side effects.

I know you can get through it, as long as you try ^_^

Awww.... Don't worry...It's an annual thing, so it will come and pass sooner or later.. U just have to wait ^w^ try going out more?

Sorry to hear it. Like Sage says, light + exercise are good. Also well balanced eating helps with your mood (regardless of season!). Our area is affected in winter as well. Employees of the Uni can actually request light boxes to be brought to their cubes/desks if they aren't near a window. Maybe you could get a lamp like the cute lizards do and lie there looking happy.

I woke up, went for a walk and when I got home almost immidietly fell asleep again....

Sleeping is how I cope with any sort of depression. :/

And I would go for a light box but I could never have it in my room cuz it's not good for the ferrets....

Sleeping seems like one of the least productive ways you could deal with it. I mean if it works it works. But its seems kinda just like giving in to it.
