What the girls at work told me about this painting nail technique. ...Is this when you put nail polish in the water, create designs with it, then put your hand in water and bring it out so that the swirls/designs of nail polish that are in that water are on your nails... or something along those lines? >.<
(I confused myself trying to explain that, but you get what I'm trying to say... right?)

The polish floats and spreads a bit on the water. You do droplets of alternating colors in the center of each previous drop to create a kind of bullseye, then use a tooth pick to distort the bullseye until you get something you like. Next is the dipping which can be tricky. You wanna start with your nail as paralell to the water/design as possible. Dip it in and then you can straighten it to point to the bottom fo the container if you like, but don't take it out right away! Instead take your tooth pick and use it to collect the extra polish from the water surface that isn't attached to yer finger, so when you take your finger out of the water the extra polish doesn't mess up your design.

Yeah I posted them on facebook.

The first time was infinitely messier then the second because I was doing it for the first time, but Once you get used to it, the messyness is reduced. xD
