[FIN] Let's Take a Look

Seraphine wandered around the streets of Camphoreon in a state of very mild confusion. Luke had been on the verge of death before getting a transplant, so his physical health was assured, but apparently he was so upset and/or depressed that the hospital was no longer allowing him visitors. While she was glad for his good health and recovery, she was still completely confused on just why he was so upset. It didn't really make sense to her, with what little she knew, but really, as long as he wasn't on his death bed, that was what mattered most.

She walked seemingly alone down the streets, a matching purse slung over one shoulder as she meandered around with no particular goal in mind apart from 'not at home.'

Something bright red and white and huge slithered up out of the corner of her eye, stopping a distance in front of her.
Double Stripe locked his green eyes on the young girl, blinking a couple of times and flicking a tongue out before, with his head held high, started slithering in her direction.

The girl almost pulled out two pokeballs to release her pokemon on the large grass snake suddenly slithering towards her, but a faint memory persisted at the back of her mind, making her refrain. Didn't that pokemon... belong to... oh ugh her. The expression on her face morphed into one of annoyance, and she crossed her arms to frown at the snake. "What are you doing here?"

Double Stripe didn't miss a beat as he slithered right up to her, veering to the right to circle her, nearly enclosing her in his body before he flicked his tail out of the way, staring at her before nodding his head forward, nudging her lightly with his body.

Sera waited impatiently as the snake slithered up, circled her, then seemed to be directing her somewhere. Ugh, apparently it wanted her to walk that way, so she huffed and sighed at it before complying. She really had no idea how to argue with a snake anyway.

She could probably stand to argue with him, but it would be hard not to do what a twelve foot, and thick pokemon wanted.
He seemed happy enough that she was coming along without an argument though, so he continued to lead her on down the street.

"Well, lookie who Double Stripe found. Hello there." Ray had been walking down the opposite direction, having wondered where Double Stripe had gone, only to return with Sera close by. "How's your friend?"

"Oh." It was her. Her vague displeasure showed plainly on her face as she stopped and crossed her arms over her chest. "He's doing fine now," she said. She didn't say anything else, obviously thinking this encounter wouldn't last long.

"Oh wow! Really? So he got the surgery he needed, awesome." She grinned and clapped her hands in front of her. "I bet that's a huge relief for you too. not so much weight on your shoulders."

Double Stripe slithered back over next to Ray, settling in casually next to her.

"Yeah, he did," she replied, though she couldn't remember if she'd mentioned he needed surgery or not. Honestly, she couldn't remember exactly what she'd told Ray then - she was a little out of it at the time, much too worried about Luke to bother remembering what she'd told Ray about him. "And it is." A brief pause during which her pale gaze slid from the taller woman to the snake beside her and back again, "So what'd your snake want?" She was busy with stuff.

the gray haired women glanced over at her pokemon, then back at Sera with a light smile "Double Stripe" She said, "His name is Double Stripe."
her arms crossed and her head tilted "Do you know what kind of pokemon he is? and on top of that, what type?"

Sera raised an eyebrow, glanced at the snake again, then back at Ray and replied quite simply and readily, "Nope." Could she go now?

Ray's eyebrow arched, "Oh my gosh, really? you can't even guess. You need to know these kind of things you know."

Sera shifted her weight to her other hip, her arms still folded across her chest, and frowned. "The hell do I need to know that for?"

"You need to know type advantage, its the basics of all training, who your opponent uses, and who you should send out to give you the better advantage. It all goes with knowing your pokemon."
She shook her head, the girl didn't even know that?

Reaching her hand up to gesture. "welp, I hope you don't have anything planned, becasue it looks like your training starts now. Come on."

Oh god not this. Ugh, seriously?

The memory of her accepting Ray's help finally came back to her - she'd been too emotionally exhausted to keep declining - and now she was regretting it. "I actually had a bunch of plans today," she replied easily, lifting a hand up to look at her nails to try and seem like that was important or something, like she didn't care about Ray. "Sooo actually I don't have time right now, so." That meant she could leave now, right?
