NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Piper could wait until a full blown class was started . . . or she could get started in learning a thing or two. While she knew some herbal remedies, it looked as though they wouldn't be of much use here. The Nurse employed more conventional means which, sure it was alright in her book, but it was also unfamiliar . . . But the ghoul refused to work with a partner this first time. She could do this! She totally could do this by herself okay!

And besides, the dummy she was given was listed as having a broken bone. Not exactly exotic. She tucked her hair behind her ear, felt it bounce back, tried again, felt it rebel once more, sighed, retied her hair, and got to work.

Okay . . . What had Ma taught her? Piper took the dummy's arm and gently straightened it out, clicking her tongue at its non-existance whimpers. "Shush now, let's make this better. Now it's gonna hurt a bit, but it's the only way to make sure it heals right." And she pet the dummy's head to soothe its worries with a smile.

Bandages, bandages--there we go! She began to roll it around the arm, humming a tune that had been stuck in her mind for most of the day. Once fully covered, she jogged to the supplies and pulled out a sling, jogging back to set the arm within as slowly as she could. "Almost done," she told her patient, pulling out the ice pack she had also nabbed along the way. "Make sure you keep this on if it hurts too much, helps the swelling. I think. Look it's cold, cold makes things shrink, and it won't hurt as bad, okay? You'll be right as rain in no time."

Passable, but she had to do better to feel good about this open class.

Bring it on, Cricket, she was ready to work some magic! And brought it was. At first piper wasn't sure if she had gotten a dummy without a particular problem until she noticed the paper that told her it was . . . unconscious by unknown means? What did that mean? As far as she knew, you got unconscious by being knocked in the head or eating too much okay . . . Well she had asked for a challenge and a challenge she got! It wouldn't do to make excuses.

Okay, so . . . no breathing or pulse. Was this an undead? No wait, magically so, so not . . . Right. Grabbing a pair of . . . what were these things called? Ear binoculars? Heart hearers? Whatever they were, she pressed the scope to its heart to make sure there was no pulse before frowning as part of the act. "What did you do to yourself, Mr. Rabanastra?" she murmured. Eying the sacks of colorful fluid, she left her patient to grab a few.

Or a lot.

Look, she wasn't sure which was which and decided a rainbow cocktail would get her patient up and running. Careful with the needle, she inserted it into his arm and pretended to inject the mix into the dummy's veins, waiting for her result.

. . . Too much? But--but! It worked, right? There's never too much when it came to modern medicine, right??

Whatever, she passed at least. Taking the victory as it were, Piper cleaned up after herself.

(Try 2: pass + too many resources used!)
