Paper Satellite
User ImageName: Dakota Brogan
Age: 15
History: When her mother, Tracy, lost the immediate family in a car crash, she'd already been dating her father, Ian Marcel, at that point. Her amateur photography career never bounced back, and she was pressured into marrying her boyfriend. They partied, and still partied when Dakota was born, to the point where her father often got out of control. He started to abuse Tracy, who complacently took it because she still thought Ian loved her enough to learn to stop. He didn't learn, and when Dakota started getting older, his sights widened to the both of them; he committed physical, mental, and sexual abuse. It's always bothered Dakota that she can't remember losing her virginity, or knowing when it started, because her mother despises her inability to protect Dakota from that time.
It was Dakota's aunt, Lucia, that saw what was going on for what it was when Dakota's mom got hit so bad she had to visit the hospital, and Ian took off with Dakota for days. For the first time, Tracy was frantic. She and called the police and found the father and daughter after about a week. Thanks to the backbone Lucia whipped into Tracy, Dakota and her mother separated from the father. They eventually heard that Ian was in jail, for charges that did not surprise them. Sexual abuse. Murder. A sigh of relief. Even from young Dakota.
Not surprisingly, Dakota developed a crude, unlikeable attitude. It made her popular with the wrong crowds at school, and so Aunty Lucia convinced Tracy that it was time to set off again on that long lost photographer's career and move out of town, somewhere nice to shape the girl right. Ten years after she left Ian, Tracy was finally making enough to move. Aunty Lucia gave her contact with an acquaintance she knew, a cop related to the mayor, who might help her out. No one knew that Tracy and the police officer would hit it off so well, while Dakota busied herself getting dirty again in the new town. Tracy suddenly bomb shelled Dakota with the news of his proposal, which meant Dakota could no longer act how she wanted. She was in the public view, as not only the top dog commissioner's stepdaughter, but the step niece of the mayor. Dakota took it badly, and with the mother pushing for proper behaviour, a mountain of new tension and dug up wounds was stirred. One more block and the Jenga tower will collapse. What a perfect opportunity for Ian Marcel to escape jail with a vendetta.
Hobbies: Dakota enjoys running around the neighbourhood (and from her problems). She sometimes partakes in dangerous shoplifting, loud raves, and is known to be an easy flirt, since it doesn’t matter what a child whore like her does with her sexuality, does it? She likes to shop, thrifty in her purchases, because frugal and humble are her most noble traits.
Other: Dakota has an adventurous belly button piercing and the enigmatic name “Rubin” tattooed on her shoulder.

Name- Hidehara Wolff (Hint Hint)

Alias (if your chara has one)- Hideo or Hide

Family- His Father, Kaminari Wolff (Or Kami), A Cop (The Top Dog basically, and imagine his hair being black). And his Uncle, Otonashi Wolff (Or Oto) whom is the Mayor of Riverview (Town). And of course, he has a pet Wolf named Blake, whom has a rare disease which is why he is unfit for the Wild and now works as a Cop's Dog to make up for the loss.

Age- He looks about 17-18

Sex- Male

Appearance Description- With a medium build, Hideo is known for his brown eyes and soft face. His jet-black hair with white streaks is long and is thick. It goes down his neck and also covers his forehead with a swipe to his right. (Almost like Emo-Girl Baings). He usually only wears black jackets and loose jeans (With a belt around his waist to keep them up).

Bio- Hideo didn't really have a mother in his life. He lived in a house with his Uncle and his Father. He was not much of social person with people at his school and was only out-going with animals. Which is why there is a dog in a house....a black wolf by the name of Blake. Blake comes with his father to do K-9 unit business. Blake is now at least 4-5 years old, enough to where he is energetic so Hide can take a walk with him. And yes....Hideo and his family are not human (But it's unknown WHAT he is).

He is a loner at school, with only a few friends ((Most are girls...weird enough)). And those friends are the only ones he wants, he doesn't want any new ones and he does not want a sister he doesn't know. He is not happy with a mother & step-sister in his life. (neither is his Uncle but he is willing to work things out). So now Hide has to live with two people whom he does not want to communicate with.

What Does Your Chara Do: He plays guitar and sometimes does his day-job at the Humane Society to help Animals. He may do something with Animals when he grows up.

Hidehara Wolff: Son of a Cop & Nephew of a Mayor

OOC;;
With the Morning sun glaring through the open window, shining onto the face of Hidehara Wolff, it resulted in a groan from the black-haired teen. He hated mornings, especially school mornings. But this school morning was going to be the worst ever, since now he has a new MOTHER....and a Step-Sister! He didn't like the idea of having a few Females around the facility, since the females at the school (besides his friends) are known to be bitches and...well...just snobs. They want nothing but your money, undivided attention, and will throw into a jealous rage if you EVEN talk to your childhood friend (Who is a girl). Hideo then hears his door open slightly to which followed with pawsteps on the wooden floor.

Curious, Hide popped open one eye to see that his pet Wolf, Blake, laid his head against the bed. The dog looked up to his friends with those big, beady golden eyes that just says 'feed me'. Hide chuckles, lifting a hand to pet the the dog's black pelt on his head. "Morning Police Dog." He then gets up, stretches his arms and then walks off to go take a shower. People will be scared with a Wolf in the House, but Blake's story was a bit charming and....inspiring. Blake was a wolf pup when they found him; Cold and hungry. They were planning to take him to the Wolf Refuge but once they realized he actually had a disease, they took him home and named him Blake. And since Blake is a Wolf (And they need to be Active), Hide's Father decided he can be the perfect K-9 Animal so he can use his energy (the 'wildlife' energy) and be trained so that his wilf animal instincts never came. They even had to ponder if the mammal can be nuetered, even with his disease...what was his disease? He had digestive issues...an issue which was rare for wolves. And that issue would make him unfit to live in the wild. He would have to eat specific foods and take medicine to strengthen his digestive system & his immune system.

So now Blake was their pet, a pet which makes the family active and have no time to even be lazy. Hideo exits from the shower with his clothes for the cold, winter day. He jogs down the stairs in a fast pace as he started smelling the pancakes and bacon commencing from the kitchen. His Uncle was already at the Computer down at the living room, working on a few issues at the city while his Father is just serving the food. Hide looks back at his Uncle, remembering how cocky he can be..but when it comes to being leader, his Uncle knew what to do. That is why the Leader is on his 3rd Term...at the age of 35! His Uncle is pretty young to be mayor, but his talent of Politics & Leadership cannot be ignored.

Hide sat down at the bar table to go and eat some breakfast as Blake already sat down at the table wanting some grub. Hide's Father, Kami, can only grin and toss some bacon to Blake. Blake loved meat (like any other wolf) but his digestive problem made him a bit sensitive (he can only eat REAL meat...not the processed crap.) so his food cannot be dogfood. "Mornin', thanks for Breakfast. Hide never forgets to say 'thank you', especially how hard he has to work to keep the house and support his only son, so Hide always says how much he appreciates it. But he has a hard time with his Uncle. Both of them have a shaky friendship kind of. It can sometimes result in them wrestling on the ground. Kami ended up being sarcastic by telling them to take wrestling classes.

Hide just shrugs it off as he awaits the doom that will walk through the hallway: The Mother & Step-Sister.

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

The allure of the dark dawn, the brisk winter morning, had lured the bed headed girl out of her bed and to her new drawers, which she despised and reluctantly used, only because the next best thing was a pile of shabby clothes dumped on the floor. In the dark she fumbled blindly for a generic T-shirt, sweats, and woolly hoodie. She slipped into the garments, by routine and dug a pair of grey running shoes from under her bed and pulled them quietly onto her feet, rushing to lace up her laces.

Done, and dressed without combing her chestnut bob, she cracked open the door to her new room, slipping out like a cat. She grabbed the pair of keys that were supposed to be her stepbrother's on the ledge and padded down the front hall. A kitchen clock, illuminated in the outside porch light and brown colour of the barely morning sky, with it's patient pendulum clicking with the tiny hands, showed her that it was just before 6 o' clock. This was her chance to get out before the new family started getting out of their beds. Her mom out of Kami's bed.

With the last thought putting a scowl on her face, the fifteen year old unlocked the front door and leaped out into the cold night for her preferred run in the silence before the neighbourhood woke up.

Down the hall, the sleepy new step mom, Tracy swept down the hall, rubbing an eye with a smirk at her husband. She looked around the table, expecting to see the most reluctant member of the new family rubbing elbows with the boys for some breakfast. She frowned in worry, marking the obvious lines around her eyes and across her forehead. "Is Dakota in the washroom? She's not in her room." Something told the woman that her dear daughter was gone from the house again.

With perfect timing, a pair of feet trotted up to the front door, and the door unlocked. Down the front hall and into the kitchen came a flushed-faced young girl, looking at them with narrowed eyes. "Dakota, where were you?" Tracy asked, her voice strained.

Dakota rolled her eyes and tossed Hide's keys back onto the ledge. "Out on a run." She sniffed, her nose runny, but working. "Can I take my breakfast in my room while I get changed?" she inquired ungratefully. Aghast, Tracy stared at her daughter, then to the step dad, starting an apology.

OOC;;
Hide and Otto frowned in response to her lack of respect as she entered and even threw the keys which BELONGED to Hide on the ledge. "Your frickin' welcome." He growled a little, which was 'disciplined' by his Uncle. "Let's not get to a fight now." He then shakes his head, wondering when the 'niece' will start ruining his reputation as he grabs a coat. "Imma be coming home late tonight; I am going to be doing extra work so I can come with you." Otto tells his brother, Kami. Otto, despite being mayor, loved the Police work where he would find the bad guys. However his lack of anger-control and urge to beat the living s**t out of people would make a public outcry, so he stuck to verbally abusing people at office if needed. "Let me guess, Disability people."

"Damn Right." That was the mayor's favorite line: "Damn Right' or 'You little p***k'. Once Otto leaves, Hide just decides to get up. "Mind if I walk Blake?" "Not at all. Just make sure you let him go in time." Kami then starts to grab the leash from the hanger close to the front door before tossing it at him. "Good day and be nice to your sister."

Hide was so close to saying 'My Sister? My Sister the Whore?' but he was able to bite his lip and trudge on. Meanwhile Kami sighs and responds to Tracy's apologetic look: "She'll get used to it, just give her time. It can be weird transition for them especially at their age."

Hide just shakes his head as he exits through the door, walking Blake to school. People at school already adjusted to the wolf-like dog coming along, but some of the teasing like 'Wildman' and 'Tarzan' had come up quickly as soon as Blake was seen by the public. But Hide shakes his head, knowing that his sister will be part of that crowd as he steps down from the porch to walk outside.

The cool air made him feel a lot better, and Blake already started yipping in excitement as he was outside and using his energy for today. Hide did not feel guilty on his thoughts about his 'new' sister, since there is no way the two of them will get along. He just knows she was a b***h....even ungrateful personality made him cringe. He hated people who weren't grateful for the things their parents have done...but of course he is like 1/10 of the teenagers in the whole frickin world to think like that. "I wonder how many people she'll ******** until she ruins my families reputation?" He thought out loud as he then bents down, lets Blake off the Leash, gives the dog the leash and then watch the dog run off as Hide just focuses on getting to class on time.

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

See, they don't give a s**t, Dakota thought at her mom. The step dad, uncle had refocused on their daily conversations, clearly not offended by her cold demeanour. It was like she wasn't even there. That was good enough for Dakota. The only objection came from Hide. "You're frickin' welcome," he commented venomously. Dakota, in return, shot dagger eyes at him. Oh, like you even noticed your keys were gone.

"Mind if I walk Blake?" Hide asked in the midst of the breakfast table chatter. Blake: that was the smoky black pet wolf of the household. The Wolff family lived up to its name. In anticipation of the leash, the big black canine danced enthusiastic circles by the door as Hide fetched the leash.

"Good day and be nice to your sister." Dakota looked quietly at the dish that her mom put deliberately on the table for Dakota. It was an invitation, or a demand, to sit with the new family. But even the way Kami had called Dakota Hide's "sister" sounded distant and uncomfortable. Like there was a rift between her and them. It was true enough, that Dakota had purposely created that rift on her own. She didn't want to be part of a family where she had to watch every word, every action, because she was now unwillingly part of the public eye. She hated that supressed feeling. She hated feeling like she was a goldfish in a bowl.

Then, Kami sighed. "She'll get used to it, just give her time. It can be weird transition for them especially at their age."

He was talking about her, to her mom, right in front of her. "I'm right here," she growled, picking up the plate and stomping off to her room where she could get changed in peace.

Tracey stared after her in disdain. "I know, but Dakota's always been so mature, Kami. And I never told her how serious we were getting...She resents all of us for that." She wiped her thumb against the beautiful wedding band, encrusted with a fascinating diamond.

Dakota slammed her door shut, miffed that they continued to talk about her in the third person. She stuffed the plate of bacon and pancakes and fork and knife on top of the drawers and peeled off her sweaty jogging clothes. She ate fast, crawling into the shower for a quick rinse to clean off the sweat, then finger combed her damp hair, coming out again with a plate, and in faded jeans and a shirt, the same hoodie, and a winter coat. They were neutral, unappealing colors, but everything hugged her body except for the baggy jacket, emphasizing her attractive slimness.

"Mom, can you drive me?"

"Sure, hon," Tracey sighed. With Dakota waiting at the door with her bag, Tracey kissed Kami on the cheek, and lingered romantically for a moment, until Dakota opened the front door and let the chill in. Her mom seemed to pop out of her idealistic bubble and pulled on her own coat from the hanger near the door. Dakota watched her mom out he door and as they drove, thinking about the marriage. Her mom had proclaimed it so suddenly. Dakota had never even met Kami, and only knew him as "the cop". Dakota supposed he was a nice man, and her mom felt safe with him. Trust had been a hard hurtle after years of abuse with her last husband, Dakota's father, Ian Marcel.

Still, finding no solace in her mother's calm and comfort in the new marriage, Dakota slammed the car door shut when they arrived at the school drop-off lane, and the bell rang. Fighting through the chill and slow students to get inside, Dakota elbowed her path into the warm, dusty halls of Riverside High, missing the familiar smoke pit and friends back from her Aunty Lucia's neighbourhood high school, where there were no misconceptions about love and trust. Now she had to make new delinquent friends, the only kind that she could get along with, because Dakota was much like a misanthropist. All she could do today, though, was idle through her classes, waiting to be adopted by the next wave of dirt and decay of reputation.

OOC;;
Once the bell had begun, Hide didn't pay much attention when his 'sister' came up trying to look all sexy and crap. He rolls his eyes as he thinks she was the 'spoiled' type- not afraid to show off her stuff. He even ignored her as she was walking to the school...looking all cool. He cringed as he just follows one of his friends; a girl named Sam Nelson whom is the goth girl around, but her mother happened to be the assistant principal. He just does a usual chat for her about how the day went. And of course he told her about the new members of his family: A mother and a step-sister. A step-sister whom is just going to ruin everything his Father and Uncle's blood, sweat, and tears in their profession. Sam sympathized with him as she added that everything will be alright. "Even if she really does become a slut and goes on world news, I wouldn't be surprised if Your Uncle found a way to say that her 'past' was not as good either."

"Something like that." He muttered as he walked with her, feeling a lot more better now that he was with his friend....

    *tImeskip*

It was now Lunchtime, and relief was felt inside Hideo's mind as he was finally going to see his three friends: Sam, Mimi, and an old-time friend; Eric in peace without any interruptions or bullying. Their attention must be turned to the 'new' girl since she looks attractive and slutty enough to be in guy's eyes. "Yeah I heard about her. Some guy was already planning to invite her to a party just to have sex."

"Pretty ******** pathetic." "Oh well." Mimi had a grin like a mischief child. "Not our problem." Hide shrugs as he then lets out his guitar. "Mind me playing?" "Nah not really. I actually haven't heard you all week." Hideo already had started the song
pretty much enjoying the time and letting his friend eat in peace with some nice music in the background.

With the song all over, he could only accept their claps. "Nice, let's hope your sister doesn't ruin that guitar of yours." He laughs, which made the other three to give out a chuckle. "Are you busy today though?" "Yeah, got to 'hang out' with little sister and s**t." "Ooops..." Mimi had a small hopeless smile. "We were planning to go to that movie that had just opened. You know Iron man 3?"

"Oh yeah.....sorry about that." He then starts to hear the bell ring as it was time to go. "Bye." He got up and the four of them went their separate ways.

    *timeskip...again XD*

He was able to get home when he sees a small red light emitting from the phone that signified a message. Hide dragged his feet to the phone as he listened to the message:

"Hey Hide, it's your Dad. I just realized that I am going to have a busy day in my shift today, and your Uncle obviously will be late. So he won't be home till 10pm, while I can't get home until at least 2am. I just wanted to say that so you know we cannot provide dinner today, there's a lot of stuff in the freezer. But knowing you, you'll be fine. But don't forget to feed your sis, a'right? Bye." Hide then clicks a few buttons to delete the message before looking at the clock. He knew now that he was going to start on some little homework and start cooking (just to get it over with anyway). He gets his iPhone onto a Bose speaker and turns it on.

He didn't care if the slutty sister could hear anyway, it was Linkin Park so it wasn't going to worry the crap outta him. The iPhone was now playing Lost in the Echo, In My Remains, Burn it Down, I'll be Gone, and Roads Untraveled while he was doing homework, and planning out a few things for dinner. He decided to make some salmon using butter instead of oil to fry it (Only a little) while he cooked some garlic-roasted potatoes. Along with that, he got some Fiesta Salad going when he was waiting for the two to cook. It took him 2 hours (With a bunch of Linkin Park songs) until he was done. And when he was, he didn't even say it was time for dinner for the girl so he turns on the TV to watch 'Paranormal State' and 'Animal Cop: Houston' to pass the time.

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC; Wanna start PMing and planning? You gave a really good hint there for the mayor trying to spread later that Dakota had a proematic past as an excuse, which would only feed the flame. I don't want them to know how bad it was with the last dad.█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

By lunch, Dakota was scouted as her new peers as adulterous and crude. After refusing to read a historical passage, on the grounds that the teacher was singling her out on her first day, her first class steadily turned into a zoo. Dakota had been warned against usurping the classroom in the future. She met single boy #1, and his face and name quickly faded from immediate memory when the second class came around. Her demeanour as a delinquent only expanded to that of a harlot as she twisted single boy #2 around her finger. His name was Harvey. He had sandy strewn hair, and blunt eyes, too boring to note the colour. He sat next to her, and he passed the first note, wishing her welcome at the new school, to which she responded positively, and the notes went on until she was whispering her lip against his ear. She had enough time to gouge his public self. Harvey was sluggish. His carelessness towards anything but the now resembled a dog, and he possessed static points of views, and enriching wealth of family. Dakota liked, or rather, got along best with his type. No ties to the world, no real plan for life or duties to protect. When you didn't bother collecting things, it meant you couldn't lose them. To Dakota Harvey was, and to Harvey Dakota was, just a temporary event in their flowing lives.

"My brother, he's graduating, and I are having a slamming party at my house this weekend. It's gonna be school wide, all grades, all sexes. Wanna come over that night?" he asked, craving for a yes. "How is a party 'slamming'? Will there be drinking?" She retorted, scoffing in contempt. "Yeah, of course," he assured. Somehow he'd put his arm around her waist, so the teacher wouldn't see. "Parents?" she whispered into his ear. "Never."

At lunch Dakota hung out at the unfamiliar smoke pit, introduced, not surprisingly, by the bad influence, Harvey. She shared gloomy, dirty hellos with the ragged bunch of upset teens and went back inside. She knew where it was, but Mom had drilled her on smoking, so the little Dakota did smoke was on uncommon occasions. She lazed into the rabble-infested cafeteria, exploring, and saw her stepbrother, Hide from a distance. Her eyes normally would have leaped over him, but it caught her attention that he was playing guitar among a small account of chums. She raised her eyebrows. Dakota had never pegged him as doing something cool like leisurely strumming in the middle of the cafeteria. It seemed contradictory that she should dislike him.

And just because he plays the guitar doesn't mean I have to take a liking to him, she chided herself. Dakota was stubborn in her disdain of the new family. Her heart was still sore from how she found out about the engagement, with no pretense from her mother. If there was to be blame, Dakota wanted to divide it among the whole dang family, despite whose ultimate fault it was.

She trailed home roughly in sight of her stepbrother, only being even that close because she had to memorize the complete route. She'd passed by the school on her run, but it was a random, explorative, zig-zaggy pattern she'd taken to get there and back. Behind Hide she at least took a straight, direct road home. She got inside just as Hide was reaching the end of a message left by his dad. "--But knowing you, you'll be fine. But don't forget to feed your sis, a'right? Bye."

"Hmph," Dakota replied to the message as he deleted it and sauntered towards her room, clunking the door shut.

A little after Hide had finished making dinner, letting it sit unknown to Dakota, her mom Tracy got home, glowing. "Hi guys, I'm home," she called. She met Hide in the living room, his own plate of supper on the coffee table. She zeroed in on the plate like a hawk, picking it up in one hand, purse still in the other. In a motherly tone, she scolded, "Before you take another bite, please don't eat in here. At the dining table." She set the rest of it down there. "Dakota come eat out here!"

Dakota sprang out of her room and ran into the kitchen, gawking at the food, as hungry as an ox. "When did you finish!?" She accused Hide, arms crossed. "Eat at the dinner table, you two. Oh it's been such a long day," Dakota's mom moaned, setting her purse and keys down on the side table near the front door. "That's because you haven't worked a day in your life, mom," Dakota said with a smirk. Her mother caught her and grinned from ear to ear. "Was that a joke? Is my little Ducky finally coming out again?" Dakota quickly forced a scowl again. "No." With that Dakota moodily sat down and glared at her mother for trying to rush the healing process, and Hide for ignoring her.

OOC;; Lol sure, but I was NOT planning on Otto doing that. Afterwall, it was just two teenagers talking. Although I do have an idea I WANT to discuss on PMs.
Hide looks at Dakota nonchalantly. "It was finished 5 minutes ago, sorry." He then shrugs and then nods to his mom. "Welcome Home Mom." Despite his hatred for the new family like Dakota, he was starting to embrace the Mom a little bit more than the sister. He could see the mother was really nice, and apparently her 'a*****e' of the sister is just terrible. He then starts shrugging his shoulders: "It's ok...I'm not that messy." He was used to eating in the living room after-all, since that is where most of the entertainment stuff is. But he was not going to get in an argument though and just sat at the dining room table like the rest. "Oh and Mom. Dad says he won't be back till 2am due to the late-night shift, but he probably called you to tell you." He was going to ignore the sister completely since now he soon sees he cannot do anything to change her.

She was a slut and that's that. He will keep a close eye on her though to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid...like the party for tonight. The fact they will be drinking too made him shiver, since it was the sole reason his 'real' mother was not alive. He then starts eating the fish, admitting he did pretty darn good. "Might as well be a famous chef off the Food Network channel." He tells himself, giving a small chuckle unbeknownst to anyone around him. He then feels something vibrate in his pocket as he then picks it up to see who's calling him. "Uncle? Why's he calling my cell?" He then excuses himself from the table and then calls him: "Wanna tell me why your calling my cell-?"

    "HIDEEEEEEOOO~"

    ...................................................

"What are you doing in my Uncle's Office?"

"Well, he wanted help from us! And he asks us to call you while he was at a meeting~! Me, Sam, and Eric are all here!"

"Oy' Vei'." He rubbed his forehead as he soon realizes what Otto will need help on. "Let me guess? Uncle is trying to convince the stupid politicians to put in the 'Boys and Girls' Club?"

"Yep~ And he thought that we could help him out. All we do though is run some errands. Maybe you can co- Oh...you got that sister."

    "Yeah...obviously."

    "Bring her over then!"

    "WHAT?! You serious?! Mimi!"

"Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssse~!" Her voice now started to turn to a child, a child who was an expert on making a puppy tone. Hide stands there with an annoyed glare at.....nobody before sighing. "Fine, I'll bring her over."

He then hangs up the phone. "Good News for you Dakota. Uncle wants you and me in his office for tonight. Apparently he got too busy so my friend left the message. He says its urgent." Of course it was a lie that it was urgent, but maybe it could stop her from going to the stupid party and ruin her life. "He especially wants to make sure you show up and don't bail on him like the stupid politicians that don't give a f-.......crap." He changed the word so his mother wouldn't slap him.

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

Lamenting Hide with a sigh, Dakota ate with indifference. She'd never admit that his delayed meal tasted deluxe. As she was ignored, Dakota returned the favour, letting Hide and her mom talk like they weren't in her presence. She didn't even p***k at Hide calling her mom his mom.

"Oh, Kami will be that late?" Tracy repeated. Dakota glanced up from her fork to observe her mom's facial expression. She wondered where that nervous far away gaze was staring. Dakota's mom, as kind as she was, could become so weary without someone becoming her backbone. Aunty Lucia told Dakota, when she was old enough to point it out, that Tracy had not always been this way, but after their parents died, Aunty and Mom both lost control of their lives. Tracy surrendered to her new husband to fill the hole her parents had left. The domination he built over her had thrown her into a state of disrepair, where, without a guide, she lost the light ahead. Aunty Lucia had become strong enough to be that light for Tracy. Dakota had seen the that state of waywardness hit hard when Tracy was pushed to move to Riverview. She'd always displayed it in small portions like this with Aunty, but something in Tracy was now able to push the hopelessness back behind her eyes now. She'd become stronger since meeting her stepdad Kami.

A small, involuntary smile twitched across Dakota's face behind a stealthily placed fork full of salad. Mom was sitting down to watch the news. She never used to do that. Dakota hated to admit anything good about this hasty marriage, but Kami seemed to be healing Tracy.

And while Dakota was studying her mom, Hide had taken a call, and suddenly he exclaimed, "Oy' Vei'." Dakota glanced briefly at him in spiteful amusement over nothing in particular, and was about to ask her mom about the party on the weekend while she had the chance with her uncle, the mayor, out of the way. She was cut off.

"WHAT?! You serious?! Mimi!" Dakota groaned and glared at him, quirking her eyebrows, questioning if he was going to outburst again. There was a moment, and then Hide dejectedly told the girl on the other end, "Fine, I'll bring her over." Click. "Good News for you Dakota. Uncle wants you and me in his office for tonight. Apparently he got too busy so my friend left the message. He says its urgent." Dakota immediately opened her mouth to refuse, but he interjected. "He especially wants to make sure you show up and don't bail on him like the stupid politicians that don't give a f-.......crap."

"Do I look like I give a f-crap what the mayor wants me to do?" She pointed at her face and tipped her head to the side, the image of indifference. "Dakota, you are going," her mother ordered. Dakota and her mom shared a long, stubborn stare. There was a time when Dakota could whine her way out of it. Not anymore. "Do you have homework?" Dakota perked up. "Why yes, I do." Her mother grinned challengingly. "What's your assignment?" Dakota placed her elbow confidently on the table and planted her chin on her palm. "An independent history paper." But Dakota didn't plan on doing it. Tracy jabbed a thumb at Hide. "Well, what better place to pick a subject and gather resources that town hall." Dakota gaped, seeing she'd easily fallen into that one. Her mom shooed her off, so the girl took her sweet time dragging on her coat and shuffling out with Hide. "Thanks a lot," she muttered at him through her collar.

OOC;;
"Hey don't blame me. Blame my Uncle; but good luck. My Uncle doesn't give a flying s**t if your a woman or man; he'll gladly kicks your a**." He rolls his eyes at her as he then turns his head, cocking an eyebrow at his Mom as if giving her a 'good job' expression. "Bye Mom!"

Deciding that it has been a long time, Hide decided to drive his Scion Sports Car he got for his 16th birthday. He had been warned by his Father to be careful with that thing since it was expensive. Hide just shrugged it off and said he will only use it once in awhile; otherwise all the places here are a good walking distance. The interior of the car was black leather and had the latest updated radio, speakers, and of course sub-woofers. "Oh and your not driving this thing in case you wanna borrow it to impress your new boyfriend." Without giving her a word, he puts his iPhone in the USB connecter and played Water by Breaking Benjamin.........

Once the song was over, they already have arrived at the House. And as soon as he parked he sees his three friends coming to him. "DUDE! So unfair! Your driving your Scion! How come you won't let me in anymore?" "Because you almost spilled a Wendy's Frosty on the interior."

"Well! Is that her?" Mimi; A girl Hide kind of has a crush on, was wearing very attractive fashion-designer clothes with her hair done and her necklace of the 'cross' hanging on her shirt. Sam, on the other hand, just wore what a punk girl would wear....a shirt and pants with some tears on them. "Well....your Uncle is waiting." Hide nods as he knew the three were staring at his 'sister' as if she was a predator to them ready to strike at any moment........

"Finally you got here on time." "You got us at short notice." Hide enters after knocking, making sure Dakota comes in. as well so she will not wander off. "So anyway, I heard you were arguing with some politicians about the Boys & Girls club." "Oh that, well you see...."

That alone convinced Hide. "YOU LIED?!"

"Oh? And what you going to do? Sit at home watching Animal Cops while your sister goes out hanging with her new friends partying? I might as well have a little bonding moment and give you guys volunteer hours." "But is that illegal for you to lie?"

"Don't question me boy. In here there are no witnesses." He then stands up, in a nice looking suit and tie as he shuffles his papers before putting them inside a folder. "So when I saw your friends, I convinced them to help me out and in return: they get volunteer hours in their resumes, money, and of course get you lazy a** out of the house." "Oh I so 'Looooooove' you." Hide sarcastically told him; being a smart-a** before Otto gave him a glare. "Remember that I have guns." "Pfffft, yeah. Last time you used it was to shot a ********' dog that would not shut up." "It was a tranquilizer gun number one."

Hide then crosses his arms: "So...what do we do now 'boss'?" "So ********' enthusiastic aren't you?" He and Hide can cuss at each other all day and not be offended by that. Both look at each other as anger counselors to get rid of their frustration for the day. Mimi then enters from the door; looking all cute and bubbly. "Got 'er done."

"Thanks sweetie." THAT got Hide all rallied up. Mimi nods and then asks: "Also, I heard from one of the secretaries that they need a copy of the notes from last meeting." When Otto didn't speak out soon, Hide intervened. "Let me guess...left it in the car?" "Yeah....anyway thanks Mimi." Mimi then soon leaves as Uncle Otto looks to the two: "First one, I need you two to go to my car and get the document...should be in the front seat."

"I can always go by myself, it's no trouble."

"It's dangerous out there, especially at this time so I rather you guys go together so if anything happens, one of you can go get help." He then looks at Dakota before he sits down: "That means you also."

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

Dakota rolled her eyes straight back at Hide's warning. She figured that since she'd born into bruises, she could handle whatever force the mayor tried to enforce. Her attitude wasn't getting any better, anytime soon. She waltzed out, realized they were driving in the gorgeous scion that had so far just been a drive-way ornaments, and flitted over to the passenger side and crawled in. She looked around, admiring the black leather and stereo system, and the fresh smell the automobile still had.

"Oh and your not driving this thing in case you wanna borrow it to impress your new boyfriend." Dakota scoffed and waved off the pernicious remark. "What boyfriend?" she asked him wickedly. Instead of answering the rhetorical question, he pumped up the stereo like a good boy, and Dakota bobbed her head to the familiar song which she couldn't put a name to. She liked music, but could never adeptly follow it. It was all swept up in the meaningless rapids of life.

With the song done, Hide pulled into the town hall's lot. Down descended those three familiars Hide had hung out with at lunch. Dakota cautiously got out of the car and kept her ground on the other side of the car, leaning over it with her elbows on the roof, staring at them. "Well! Is that her?" A perky little bubble of girlyness asked, pointing at Dakota, as if she were an unsavory object, or a zoo animal. Dakota scowled, like she might just bite off that finger if she'd been on her side of the car. Dakota despised being referred to in third person when she was right there. Clearly Hide had given them his impression of her. Nobody came over to introduced themselves to her. Sadly, not even Eric, who was much more handsome than Harvey even in the dark, ignored her and salivated over the car.

Out came Dakota's false uncle, the mayor of Riverview. Otonashi Wolff looked as if he was just starting to appear his age at 35. He was strong and handsome, with smooth copper skin, and coarse black hair that didn't like to be slicked back for his public profession. Out of context, he didn't look anything like a mayor. "Finally you got here on time."

"You got us at short notice. So anyway, I heard you were arguing with some politicians about the Boys & Girls club." Dakota's own response would have been slightly more argumentative. "Oh that, well you see...." Dakota jumped at Hide's sudden outburst. Her step-uncle guiltily admitted to the lie, justifying it by teenage laziness. They had a cussing tournament, which Dakota tuned out from, and soon the prissy pointer interjected. "Also, I heard from one of the secretaries that they need a copy of the notes from last meeting." After an awkward pause, Hide read between the lines, knowing their fragmented speech patterns well. "Let me guess...left it in the car?"

And that was how Dakota and Hide were once again sent back into the cold. Dakota rubbed her arms and glimpsed around the parking lot. "I don't like your friends," she announced for the sake of small talk, rather blunt as they wandered over to his car. "The preppy one can stick her finger up her..." Dakota trailed off, staring at what she was pretty sure was Otonashi's car. A hooded shadow stood next to the window, jerking something down between the glass and the door frame. A wire, maybe. Anyways, Dakota saw a car jacking when she saw it. "HEY!" She yelled, running forward, boldly setting out to scare him off.

OOC;; I am so sorry that I posted very late. I had homework to do and I had no idea it would take so long XD
Hide sighs: "Their not good at meeting new people. Despite Mimi sounded enthusiastic but I guess she did it for my Uncle. Within time, they will trust you." He yawns unenthusiastically as he was about to hear the meanest comment toward Mimi ever until she started shouting what seemed to be someone hijacking a car. "HEY HEY! STOP! You don't know if he has a weapon!" And to justify his fear, the man held up a gun and pointed it at Dakota.

By pure instinct, he ran at maximum speed taking in the bullet for Dakota before stumbling backward a bit. The blood had now stained his clothes and were oozing out quicker than it could possibly get. Hide, with his features somehow sharp and muscular now jumped at the criminal fighting him down on the ground as if he had never been shot at all.

Eric was the first to respond to the gun shot. He got out of the office and soon sees the brawl in front of him. "What the-?! Hide!"

"GET HER OUT OF HERE!" He wails out before he too got tackled down by the big, rough-looking man around his 40's. Eric, with no hesitation drags Dakota out of the situation to back inside the building. He made sure his grip was tight as they got to the stairs, meeting Sam. "What's going on?!"

"Hide was shot! Call 9-1-1! And get Otto over here before he dies!" With that Sam ran through the door, passing by Mimi. "And Mimi! I will need scissors and also a bat to help Hide out! Hurry!" Mimi did not hesitate.

While Hide and the unknown Criminal have been rolling around the street till the got to the garden area where a bunch of rocks and grass were. Hide did not have any choice but to show his supernatural strength as soon as the Criminal spoke: "Your not going to win this one, I will kill you and the girl-" The man said while choking Hide down at the dirt ground. "-your going to regret messing with me. In fact, Ian would probably-"

Hide's strength went up 10x as he snatches a rock and thrashes it against the man's head...cracking his skull and making his head ooze blood. The man's eyes were as wide as a moon with his jaw wide open. Hide backs away, panting, putting a hand onto his wound as he then looked down to the corpse's shot leg. That man was no petty thief...he was a hardcore criminal. He stands up before he sees Eric with what seemed to be scissors. "He....was about to kill me." He gags before his body forced him to lay down on his side. "Hey Hey!" Eric sits him up and then sees where the bullet was. He then looks over Hide to see Dakota: "I know I am a rude a**, but you need to help me out here or he will die! His life is on the line!"

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;Fully understand that you got a life. I got one, too. ;P█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

Dakota stumbled to an abrupt stop when the man whirled around, as if he expected her. Her green slits for eyes, narrowed at the man trying to hijack her step uncle's car just a moment ago, widened at the sight of something black against the night, and deadly, pointed steadily at her chest. Life seemed to slow down, and in an instant, she believed it was her final moments. So many questions blurred through her mind at impossible speeds as she stared down the gun across the lot, paralyzed.

Out of nowhere, a shape jerked across her view of the gun, and the crack of a bullet resounded through the lot. Dakota cringed against the sound and ducked, too late to have avoided it. Still, she was breathing, her heart was beating, and astonishingly she had survived. Hide had somehow pounced to her rescue and now stood in front of her, like a shield. Dakota fell in awe as he kept running, bearing down on the shooter. Had he even been skimmed by the bullet. Dakota forgot to scream for help as her step brother and the dark stranger collided, and Hide tackled him to the ground.

Eric ran out into the night after hearing the boom. "What the-?! Hide!" Dakota shook out of her stupor and echoed with her own shrill scream, "Hide! Run!" Of course, it was too late to do so. They were already entangled and rolling on the ground.

"GET HER OUT OF HERE!" The idiot hollered back at Eric. Dakota shrieked angrily at Eric's obedient grip and fought against him the whole way until she was inside. She shook terribly, but she wasn't sure what she was more afraid of, the chance that she could have died, or that Hide was wrestling with the armed man outside. "Go help him!" she yelled frantically at Eric when he paused to inform the Goth girl about what was going on. Eric kept his grip relentlessly on her and the Goth girl came back, the police on her cell phone, and handing Eric scissors and a bat. Eric did a futile job of trying to push Dakota outside before running back to the skirmish, and Dakota ducked around the Goth girl to follow him.

The pair raced back to the parking lot, but Hide wasn't there. Dakota was the one who heard them over Eric's panicked pant and pointed to the ornamental garden. Eric ran, with Dakota stepping on his heels, and she heard a dull crunch, and thinking that it was Hide, she collapsed momentarily in shock, then surged back up when she saw Eric rush into the garden.

Hide was on the ground, clutching his leg. The hijacker was face down in the soil of the garden. He somehow got up, which had to be killing him with his leg shot. Then he turned, blind for a moment, before his eyes zoned back in on Eric and Dakota. "He....was about to kill me." Finally, the adrenaline must have been sucked out of him, because he fell back down, laying on his side, gagging in shock. Dakota did not permit herself to get squeamish. When Eric demanded her help, she jumped down to them with a cool head. "This'll hurt," she warned, looking into Hide's eyes to distract him. She yanked up the leg of his pants where he'd been shot, brushing the wound. Wincing along with Hide's pain, she glared at Eric. "God, just get the bullet out, please." Her green eyes flashed back to Hide's. She wanted him to be talking. She wanted him to be okay. So, she said the first thing that came to her mouth, making it sound oddly soothing. "What kind of idiot rushes out in front of the slut to take a bullet?! Honestly, she wanted to throw her arms around him for a second and hug him. She glanced down at his leg, and the blood that had wiped off onto her hand. "What do you want me to do?" she asked Eric, keeping her voice incredibly calm in this situation.

OOC;;
"A slut's brother." Hide gargled in response to her, already feeling the adrenaline fading off. "What I need you to do is hold him down, district him in anyway. I may not look like it but I have experience in the medical field." He then lifts Hide's shirt to see the source of the bullet-wound. "Imma take the bullet out of here first as it's the biggest threat. It's gonna hurt him but he is already in much pain as it is." He then lifts up the pair of scissors as he dug them into his skin, cutting up a hole until he could safely get the bullet out of him. Hide's body jerked up a bit in response to Eric's 'surgery' technique before he was forced to lay back down completely. Eric then tended to the bullet on his leg where he then would successfully get rid of that bullet too.

"By the way...." Hide choked a little in order to speak up to Dakota. You better get used to the fact that we will get hurt or the Wollf Family will be the worst people in your lives. My Father risks his life to make it safe, My uncle could face assassination, and I face bullying where I could be killed. So....I guess life sucks." He then sees the red-white lights from a cop car.

Thankfully, Sam was able to contact Kami in time. And right when Kami came out, Uncle Otto was running down the steps with Mimi and Sam on foot. Kami was the first to bend down and go on his knees. "What Happened?"

"I uhh...can't really say. Missus here might know." He usually calls women that, and it was just in polite terms. Kami then stands up and was about to take Dakota out until he realizes something. "You need her?" "I got it Mr. Wolff." He then looks at Dakota: "By the way, I'm Eric. I would say pleasant day to meet you but...this event is not pleasant." Kami then softly nudges her to get out of the garden as Otto was waiting for the two. "What the hell happened?!"

"Hey! No yelling, I think this was enough of a scare for the day. Eric is making sure nothing is wrong before we can take him home." He then sighs: "I need to investigate the b*****d that dared hurt him. Imma also see on who he is." "I'll be right here." Kami then hugs Dakota, squeezing her lightly before having to go back to the crime scene. Otto, with his arms cross, leans forward against the car. "Not to pressure you but, you mind telling me what happened and why you decided to risk your life to go after a criminal?"

Kami meanwhile went back to the scene, where Eric was trying to get Hide to stay awake. Kami, putting on his gloves, reaches down to the man's pockets to grab ahold of a wallet and then look through identification which of course would obviously be a fail in that part since he is a criminal. But then something attracted his attention.........

"You two go on home now. Your parents are worried." Mimi and Sam could only nods as they both looked at Dakota and waved a little at them. "Bye....." "Bye....." They then went off, feeling nerve-wrecked and scared. Eric then steps out of the garden area and held onto Hide. "I've done all that I can." He spoke in a quiet tone, helping Otto be able to get Hide to stand lazily. Despite Hide groaning and coming in and out of consciousness, he will be ok. 'I got him from there, you best go on home too." Eric nodded and then gave her a solemn nod. "Bye...." He then walks off to go outside and probably meet his Mom and Dad. Otto could only do is get Hide inside of his own Red Chevy before coming back to Dakota. "At least no one is seriously hurt. Your mother will be arriving soon, I called her and tell her only what I know so far but I wanna hear from you on what really happened."

█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█Dakota Brogan Wolff---The New Stepdaughter█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█
█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█OOC;█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀█

Dakota didn't care if Eric was a brain surgeon or a cub scout; if he could dig the bullet out of leg it was good enough for her. The girl shoved all of her weight on Hide's shoulders to keep him from bucking. Her pin was strong. Practiced. She managed to tactically hold her step brother on the ground as Eric peeled up his shirt, and Dakota gasped. She had only noticed the leg wound. "You got shot twice!" She exclaimed, sounding absolutely furious with him. In response to the scissors, Hide's legs started to jerk, folding up in pain. Quickly, she stretched out and arm and locked it against his thighs, pressing him down from both ends. Straddling would have worked better, but she couldn't get in Eric's way.

Dakota was convinced that Hide was delirious at this point, but he managed to choke some words of wisdom to her. You better get used to the fact that we will get hurt or the Wollf Family will be the worst people in your lives. My Father risks his life to make it safe, My uncle could face assassination, and I face bullying where I could be killed. So....I guess life sucks." The sister shook her head, dismayed and aghast.

Red and blue lights and a siren is what she suddenly became aware of. Eric, too, looked up when a door slammed. Kami, Otonashi and Hide's pair of girl friends ran over. Hide's father was the first onto his knees, understandably because Hide was his son. "What Happened?" Kami asked commandingly. He seemed as deadly calm as Dakota was trying to be. "I uhh...can't really say. Missus here might know." Dakota looked up, and hesitated to let Hide go until Eric said it was okay. She waved him good luck and went with the cop.

The step uncle was waiting, thankfully keeping the two girls away from the crime. One would probably fall to their knees and try to hug him better and squeeze the wound they looked so upset. "What the hell happened?!" her step uncle yelled. Dakota cringed and noted that, for a mayor, he was lacking temperament. "Hey! No yelling, I think this was enough of a scare for the day. Eric is making sure nothing is wrong before we can take him home. I need to investigate the b*****d that dared hurt him. Imma also see on who he is." Before the cop left to view the body---had there been a body? Dakota hadn't noticed---he grabbed Dakota and wrapped her in a safe hug. She gave a little startled gasp, that started to shiver, her calm being from adrenaline as well, and it was running out. He let her go, and Dakota took deep breaths to smother the shaking. "Not to pressure you but, you mind telling me what happened and why you decided to risk your life to go after a criminal?"

Dakota didn't respond until everyone, the girls and Eric, were gone. Dakota raised her eyes to the stars, and briefly tried to sort out what had happened in her memory. Otonashi came back after loading Hide into the back of his Chevy. "At least no one is seriously hurt. Your mother will be arriving soon, I called her and tell her only what I know so far but I wanna hear from you on what really happened." Dakota stared back at him and took to deep breaths. Finally, she spoke quietly. "We went outside to find your car. When we found it, we caught someone trying to carjack it. I...I yelled at him and started stomping over without thinking, and he turned around with a gun. I don't know how Hide got in front of me. He was pulling the trigger the moment he turned around. I didn't think he got shot because he kept running and plowed into him. Then Eric came, and Hide yelled for him to take me inside. Eric got a bat and some scissors and when we came out again, Hide was like that." She sighed and brushed some hair out of her face, leaving a streak of Hide's blood that was still on her hands. She didn't seem to notice. "How is Hide? And what about the guy that shot him?"
