	I'm grateful for this for the same reason as one of the commenters, JessicaLetchford This was fascinating! I really enjoyed learning a bit more about the Vulgate; for some reason I'd always seen it as the 'bad guy', but really, it's only that it was inaccessible to the general public in the 15th/16th century, which is what inspired Tyndale to write the KJV (well, what became the KJV anyway, from my understanding). It's interesting how the two stories correlate, and how Jerome and Tyndale had the same reasoning behind their work: to make the word of God accessible to the everyday man. Though the elites seemed to have acted shady, the bible version isn't to blame.
