Diagon Alley/Knockturn Alley
So you'd like to work in the commerce world eh? That means that you'll likely find some employment in Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, or in one of the various villages around schools. Before you decide that you're definitely shop-keep material, you might want to think about the following.
Job Availability If you want to purchase or work in a shop,in Diagon Alley you're going to want to look here. Don't see a shop that suits your fancy? You could try to pitch an idea for your own original shop. Or perhaps that's a sign that this isn't the job for you.
If you're of a darker or more adventurous variety, the same holds true in Knockturn Alley
Requirements While certain shops may require you to have a certain sort of knowledge, such as a Pub needing employees knowledgeable in the culinary arts, there is no O.W.L. requirement or N.E.W.T. requirement.
Living Quarters No matter where you set up shop, you'll be living on the second floor of your workplace. At least, for owners that is. Assistants will have to make other arrangements or commute to work from elsewhere.
Pricing While you may not sell goods for Gaia Gold, you can sell them for some galleons, sickles, and knuts. For a good idea on pricing, check out this fancy page.

Wizengamot
The Wizengamot is wizarding Britain's high court of law and parliament. It may be a continuation of the old Wizards' Council. Its administrative headquarters is located in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic. At least some of its trials take place in the dungeons of the lower levels. The Wizengamot appears to act as a form of parliament: the various Educational Decrees introduced by Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge in 1995 were passed and sanctioned by the Wizengamot. Similarly, Muggle laws in Great Britain must be agreed to by Parliament. It is unstated how much control the Wizengamot has over passing these decrees, and how much control the Minister exercises in such circumstances. These courtrooms are where wizards and witches are put on trial by the Wizengamot. These courtrooms were used during the First Wizarding War, for judging Death Eaters. There is a hallway leading from the Department of Mysteries, which leads to a stairwell leading to the courtrooms. All of these jobs have an age requirement of at least 17 years.
