Down through the mausoleum of the ghost dorms, on the very last cheery floor, a door stands ominously. It looks wet and rotted, like it had once been a piece of driftwood, haplessly fashioned into a door during it's last dregs of life. The doorknob doesn't look nearly so out of shape, but is that... yes, there is indeed a piece of seaweed stuck around it.

Next to the door is a cheery orange and blue sign that looks vastly out of place. Written across it in a childish scrawl is "Wally!" Obviously someone is excited to call this door their own.

Race: Bake-kujira (Ghost Whale, ********> Wally is a happy kind of kid. He was adopted into a very positive environment that encourages him to be the best that he can be and embraces who he is. This has left him with a surety in himself that a lot of kids like him wouldn't have. He may still have moments of questioning that when bullied, but all he needs is a reminder that people believe in him to get him back on his feet.

His moms have drilled it into his head that he is strong and capable, and he can do anything and, well. When Wally got addicted to superhero shows and decided he wanted to save people, they decided to encourage that too. Thus, Wally thinks he can be that superhero. The Incredible Whale. The Invincible Wally. Whaleman. He has to save any and all damsels in distress, because that's what superheroes do. He'll run headlong into danger if he thinks that's what a hero would do.

He's a social kind of creature. He thrives on being open and honest, and does well with other people like that. Warm, accepting personalities are the ones he's most attracted to, but cold and aloof personalities will make him very uncomfortable. He has no idea how to deal with that level of emotional distance.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?

When Wally came into existence (no pumpkins here, folks, just fear) he was adopted by two mermaids. They took him and loved him like he was their own, and they encouraged him to do anything he could set his mind to. In order to encourage him to reach for his goals they've decided to send him to Amity where he can be best educated and get some experience outside their home.

Notes about his moms mostly for me to keep track of what i write cries

Wally calls his moms Ma and Mom. He was created, not born, so they adopted him when he was a baby.

Ma is dark skinned with scales in shades of green (Wally says they're like seaweed in the afternoon sun). Her fins are longer and flowier than Mom's.

Mom is light skinned with pink scales that are nearly white at her hips. Her fins are shorter and spikier than Ma's.

Natural Ability: Spout - In his natural form, Wally doesn't spout warm air like a normal whale. Instead, he spouts puffs of "spirit" (the little puff balls floating by his art). In his human form this translates to him occasionally exhaling little puffs of spirit reflexively.

FEAR Ability: Water Gun - Battle Cry - What's that? Oh, it's Wally spitting a big current of water in your face. Dang, son.

Beyond the rotted driftwood door almost the entire room is deep and dark water. It almost seems too vast, like someone had brought the ocean to an Amityville dorm, but no, it's just an illusion. You can see now that the walls are just as blue as the water, making it seem endless.

The air in the room smells like salt, seawater, and tourist sunblock. The only thing that seems to be missing is the actual beach. Instead, a long pier extends beyond the door, stretching from one end of the room to the other. There are a couple wooden benches along it, carelessly covered with towels and swim suits. Whether they're for guests or just what remains of Wally tearing through his own dorm is a mystery. Floating beyond the pier are cheerfully colored pool floats.

For the water-inclined, or just those that don't need to breathe - the dorm below the surface is just as interesting as above. In the very center of the floor of the dorm is a sunken ship. It's nothing greatly impressive, but it's definitely been underwater for long enough to become a part of its surroundings. Seaweed and corals cling to it, creating nooks and hiding places for the various aquatic minis that Wally has collected. Inside the ship is just a single bed forged of various sea grasses and any knick knacks Wally as deemed safe to submurge.
