[PRP] Feathers in the Nest

How long had it been since she last stepped into this place. She wasn't really sure, honestly. But here she was, striding through the halls that she was easily becoming reacquainted with. She had been in Johto for at least two years... yes at least that long. Time really had flown. But now this particular agent has found herself transferred back to Kodo yet again.

Long blonde hair was pinned up in a loop behind her head as the young woman walked along. A bag slung over her shoulder as brown eyes scanned the doors for her assigned room number.

She had yet to be assigned a new partner, but she was certain that would come along soon enough.

Honestly, Darkfeather was the only partner she really needed, but HQ was rather fond of pairing their agents together. Hopefully Nikki would get along with whoever they ended up being. She didn't exactly have the best track record with partners after all.

"Noooo!" A small high voice, that resembled a child suddenly screamed out from down the hall, followed by a small form zipping down the hall, two long blue crystal ribbons fluttered behind it, its head looked as if to be made of the same crystals.
A Jirachi-
Its blue eyes widened when it nearly bumped into someone, drifting back a little the small legendary stared at the women in bewilderment before he threw a hand behind him and pointed to something "MAKE HIM STOP IT!"

There was no one down the hall.

Nikki's procession was suddenly halted by a scream that got her attention. The woman stopped and looked up as a Pokemon flew into her view. A slender brow raising as it pointed down the hall and made it's demand.

She leaned to the side just slightly to look around the Jirachi to see an empty hallway beyond. Looking back to the Pokemon, she folded her arms across her chest before her lips turned down in a light frown.

"Stop who from doing what?"

Blinking at the women's words, the Jirachi lowered his hand and looked around as well. "... huh?" He whimpered, surprised and looking around for something that he expected to be there.
Floating for a few seconds in silence, trying to figure out what happened, when suddenly out of the silence a large purple and half glowing ghost appeared completely out of no where right in front of the Jirachi and Nikki with his arms spread wide.
Green eyes wide, along with an insane grin.

"GAR!" It laughed, and before the Jirachi could even let out a startled scream the hands slapped shut and grabbed onto the Legendary's head. followed with a cackle as the Jirachi flailed in his grasp.

Nikki stood there stiffly, eyes wide for a few moments as all of this literally took place right in front of her eyes.

However, as the antics of the Gengar quickly sunk in, she sighed in annoyance and attempted to brush past the pair.

"Get out of my face," she grumbled. "Apparently some things around here haven't changed."

Green eyes glanced up toward the women as she started past them, still holding the struggling pokemon in his hands, he blinked at the blond, before he squinted one eye.
"Gengar..." He muttered, and while still holding the Jirachi he floated back off after the women, once again getting in front of her as he squinted at her.

Realization seemed to sink in and the ghost type opened his mouth with a surprised "GENGAR!" gripping the Jirachi under one arm as he pointed the other one toward Nikki.

Nikki would have been just happy to go on her merry way, but a certain Gengar still clutching that Jirachi, was suddenly in her way again.

Her frown deepened a bit as the ghost pointed at her, looking quite annoyed. However, something caused her to pause and look the ghost over again. Her eyes narrowing just a little bit.

"There's something familiar about you."

Looking as if he was defeated the Jirachi hung helplessly from the Gengar's hand, tapping his little feet together and bringing one of his fingers to his mouth as she pouted.

The Gengar however, was more focused on Nikki, who he continued to grin at, before rolling his eyes at her when she finally made the observation that he looked familiar.
clacking his teeth he threw up his free hand in a series of gang signs, then thumped his chest.

If Nikki cared about the discomfort of the Jirachi, she certainly didn't show it. Instead she was paying attention to the gestures that the Gengar was making. Her expression was flat for several moments until her eyes seemed to light up a little with recognition.

A little smirk played on her lips as she now remembered who happened to have tattoos that practically matched this Pokemon's.

"I suppose you wouldn't forget the one who saved your person's sorry a**," she said with humor. Damn, why did that feel like it was so long ago?

"Just where is he, anyway?"

Bro' snorted and rolled his eyes at her comment, waving a hand in dismissal, before crossing it awkwardly over his chest, seeing as he didn't have his other hand to work with.

When asked where Jerome was, Bro jabbed his thumb down the hall, then turned around to float in that direction.
There was a rec-room just around the corner from aria they were in.
Jerome was sitting at one of the tables frowning at a sheet of text as if deeming it the most confusing pile of s**t he had ever had in front of his face.

Nikki looked on with some amusement at Bro's reaction. She then followed him to the rec room where she lifted a brow at what she saw.

Walking over to Jerome silently, she came to stand next to him and reached out to pick up one of the papers. "Keeping busy?" She asked while looking it over.

He didn't take notice of anyone else in the room untill he saw movement in the corner of his eye, causing him to snap his head up, blinking as he caught sight of another Agent standing by his table, reaching down and picking up one of his papers.
Blinking, he stared at the women for a couple of seconds before the recognition hit him.
"Feathers." He said, sounding surprised. "s**t girl, ain't seen ya N'ages."

Jerome put the paper he was holding down on the table, so he could stand up.
Like usual he wasn't in his uniform, wearing his Jeanes and wife beater tank top.
His dreads were tied up behind his head, to keep them out of his face.

Setting the paper down and folding her arms across her chest, Nikki decided to sit on the edge of the table.

"It has been a while. Don't tell me you've actually missed me," she said with a smirk.

"You'll be seeing a lot more of me now that I've been transferred back."

"Well, ya bring me here and th'next thing they're sayin' ya got sent t'Johto." He pointed out, watching as she leaned against the table, crossing his own arms.
"Yea?" Transferred back, meaning she was "What they got ya doin' then?"

He glanced over when Bro floated up by the table and plotted the Jirachi onto it by Jerome.
the gangster looked at the small Legengary as it floated away from Bro and over to Jerome instead.

"They didn't give me much notice either," she said with clear annoyance. At his question though, her smirk returned.

"Security, actually. I'm assigned to work under some woman named Harvard."

Nikki didn't spare the Pokemon much of a glance and instead turned Jerome's question back on him.

"So what do they have you doing? Didn't think you're one for paperwork."
