How did I not know about this until now?

Ok, some of you are probably already aware of this, but you know Monty Oum, the guy who did Haloid and the Dead Fantasy series? He's been working for Rooster Teeth for a while, doing the more impressive looking things on Red vs Blue, but apparently this summer they started releasing an original series of his called RWBY (pronounced Ruby). Like everything else he does, the animation is beautiful, but it's also pretty funny and the voice acting isn't half bad. Also the theme song kicks a**.

Mmm, I'd say that if you're not thrilled by the end of episode three, then maybe it just isn't your thing. Which saddens me, but I suppose different strokes for different folks.

I really don't like the animation.
But I think I fell in love with the narrator. ^_^ She has a sexy voice.

Huh...never thought of sleek being a thing that would be considered bad. Or do you mean the art style in general, with the cel-shading...ness?

All of it really.
Like, the movement I mean is too sleek, the coloration didn't bother me that much when the main characters were involved, like (forgot names sorry gonk ) the girl with the scythe I thought was made with a lot of love, but the others it didn't really rock my world or anything.

Ruby IS quite awesome. I dunno. I thought that Weiss's design was kinda lackluster, but the way she fought was really cool. Blake was probably the least impressive to me, but I thought Yang was all around awesome in design and fighting style. I think she's definitely the most fun.
