(This is an ORP open to all trainers, This takes place in the evening after the Raid Attack on Rocket ))

It had been a long day for any of the trainers that had volunteered for the trip out to the desert in an attempt to make an impact on the island's Rocket problem.
returning home tired and warn out, and most with pokemon in need of healing.

The pokemon center was a buzz with life, Trainers getting they pokemon healed gathering with their comrades to share stories of their battles, and celebrate their victories.
Even trainers who were not able, or confident enough to volunteer were showing up to get dinner, speak with the Trainers who had gone and listen to their tales.

One such trainer sat in the pokecenter, though she would've preferred not to be there, honestly. At the very least, her trip to the hospital had been quite short. The shards of glass she couldn't remove from her right arm had since been removed and both arms had been patched up and wrapped, and she was let go with little instruction except a recommendation to get her pokemon checked. Thus were her reasons for being at the center - half of her team was fine, but three had been knocked out. Of those three, two had already been revived, but the third - her Absol - had suffered more serious injuries due to the simultaneous car explosions, and required more care than her others.

There was more sand in her hair and covering her person than she would've ever even thought possible, and it was both disgusting and uncomfortable, and it almost took her mind off of her Absol. Almost. What it had no chance of distracting her from, though, was one of her best friends, Luke, and how he was doing. He'd been seriously injured and she had no idea how he was doing, though she at least had a better grasp of what happened now that she'd had time to think with a clear head not clouded by panic or adrenaline. It worried her - she hated having to worry about her friends, but unfortunately they made her worry a lot - and she stared downward with a soft, thoughtful frown, her gaze absently directed at the fingers on her remaining hand as they flexed a bit. Why did everything have to end so awfully?

Yuri was not joining in the excited chatter that was all around him. His face rather stoic as he stood near the center's counter, waiting to hear word on Link and Repede. Astal had been healed easily enough, and was resting in his pokeball, but the other two had needed further treatment due to their injuries.

Heaving a sigh, he finally moved away from the counter. He was a man with a lot of his mind, and seeing a familiar face... he moved over to her.

Sitting down next to Sera, he looked over at her with a barely mustered smile. "Hey."

She looked about as glum as he felt.

Nicolette had considered volunteering despite her hesitance and how frightening the situation was, but she didn't need much convincing before agreeing not to go. Thus, it was with great trepidation that she awaited the return of the various teams, hoping that each arrival would include her friends, but none of them did so far. Maybe they had arrived earlier? Or maybe they'd be back soon? Without hearing anything about her friends specifically, one of the officers had suggested she go look in the pokemon center, perhaps she'd find her friends there. So it was that the young noble anxiously entered the pokemon center, her hands clasping and unclasping as she looked around, hoping to see any familiar faces so she could find out the welfare of her friends.

-----

Seraphine glanced up as Yuri approached and sat down, her gaze on him briefly before returning to her hand, "Hey." She felt every bit as glum as she looked, especially considering it had always been hard for her to hide her emotions.

It had been a hassle to get the doctor to release him from the hospital. Though his last name had certainly helped to speed the process along. The surgery had been quick and easy, a simple matter of digging the shrapnel out of his muscles so they could heal properly. The downside? He'd have to spend a few days in a wheelchair while his muscles regained some strength. He wanted nothing more than to go back to his hotel room, shower again, and promptly sleep for the next couple of days. And yet he found himself at the pokemon center.

He was tired and sore and the only reason he was here were his pokemon.

Much to his displeasure he found the pokemon center full of chattering children, many of whom had not even volunteered. Releasing a bitter sigh, the purple haired man wheeled himself into the crowded room. His arms gave a painful twinge, having glass embedded into your skin was no joke, but he steadily made his way to the healing area.

The first stop when they arrived back in Camphoreon was to stop at the hospital, Seraphine had her arm that she needed looked at and treated, as well as asking about any news on Luke's conditions.
He was in surgery, and probably would be for the next few hours. That would of course mean that it would push them past the visiting hours of the hospital, and were asked to check in with him tomorrow.

That was a difficult thing to hear, but as Dith had said, they had every reason to believe he would be okay.
The next stop was for the Pokecenter.
Their pokemon had gone through a lot that day, battled hard and done a great job. Most of Rosie's team had been hurt during the battle, so she needed to see to them as soon as she could.

more of less a dusty sweaty mess, She couldn't really be too bothered by it now.
Two drinks in her hand from the cafe that was built into the Center, Rosie made her way back to the tables where she had left Seraphine, returning to see that Yuri had since joined.
"Yuri." Rosie greeted, placing the drink down by Sera and turning to look at the dark haired man. "How are your pokemon healing?"

Glancing over at a trash can that sat next to their table, Yuri pulled off one of this boots and tipped it upside down over the container. A loud whoosh sound being heard as a stream of sand fell into the can's liner.

"Man, I'm hitting the shower as soon as I get out of here," he told Sera.

It was then that Rosie walked up, and Yuri's smile faltered a bit at her question. "Well I haven't heard anything yet about Link or Repede, but Astal's just fine. What about yours?"

Rosie arched her eyebrows at the amount of sand that rolled out of his boot, giving him a sympathetic smile. It seemed they would be dumping sand out of their clothes all week.

"They'll recover well," She replied gently taking a seat and folding her hands over her knees. "The center is good at what they do, I'm sure it won't be too long before you hear about your boys." She offered gently.
She paused, tilting her head, "And what about Dove? any news?" She asked, more delicately.

Rosie's assurance of the centers capable workers was certainly good to hear. Though as she asked about Dove, he gave a shrug.

"They wouldn't say much to some weird guy who isn't family. But she's in critical condition. She lost a lot of blood and she hasn't woken up yet."

This said as Yuri pulled off his other boot and dumped sand from it in the same manner as the other.

Rosie gave a nod at his reply, glancing down at her hands, briefly before looking back up at Yuri. "I didn't know it was that bad."
She had heard Dove had been hurt, but with everything that happened, she had not been aware of much else going on outside of trying to help Luke.

Falling quiet the blond glanced over at Seraphine, reaching up to run her fingers through her hair, not enjoying how often it snagged.

Yuri said nothing to that and instead quietly slipped his boots back on. Though after a couple moments he asked his own question.

"How is Luke?"

Glancing up again at the swordsman again, Rosie took a moment to reply, but did so with the best smile she could muster "He's in surgery, The last I heard." she picked up her untouched drink, offering it to Yuri instead "But Dith said he was confident he'll be okay."
Needless to say it was still nerve wracking.

"Yeah, he'll pull through," Yuri agreed confidently while silently declining Rosies offered drink with a wave of his hand.

"He's been through way too much to give up now."
PostPosted: Mon Sep 09, 2013 8:37 pm
Lowering the drink back into her lap, she watched the liquid swirling around the ice for a few seconds. tucking her hair behind her ear she gave a soft giggle "Yeah, you have a point."

The trainer gave a hesitant pause, looking over at Seraphine as she tried to find her next words.
"He got in the way... When that door hit him. It would have hit me."
She said it with a bit of a distant voice, as if she was having a hard time wrapping her own head around that reality.

A familiar face did indeed arrive near where Nicolette was, though it wasn't one she expected - nor was it at a level she expected. As Andre wheeled himself into the center and the young girl caught sight of him, her small hands shot to her mouth to cover it in a gasp. "Andre! Did you go today, too?" She asked, hurrying over to the man's side as he headed towards the counter. "I didn't go, but I was so worried for everyone who went... Are you alright?" Alright? He was in a wheelchair! Of course he wasn't alright! Ohh, dear oh dear! "What happened?"

-----

The brunette accepted the drink Rosie offered her, then sat quietly as her best friend conversed with Yuri, not really knowing what to say really as the man dumped sand out of his boots. She'd need to do that at some point, but didn't really care to attempt it here one-handed. Everything was much more difficult to do with a single hand, and she didn't like to have to struggle in front of others. She neither needed nor wanted their pity or sympathy that most inevitably gave whether she wanted it or not. When Rosie looked to her, Sera endeavored to pay more attention, though her brows raised at the words she hadn't exactly expected. By now she had gleaned enough of the day's events to know that Luke had been injured in Rosie's stead, and her gaze dropped to her knees again in a frown. She opened her mouth to speak, then changed her mind and closed it. "He did," she replied a little uncertainly, mostly because she didn't know exactly what to say. "Isabella got hurt, too." And Yuri's pokemon, and Dith, and others... "They'll be okay, though," she said suddenly, raising her gaze to both Yuri and Rosie. "They'll all be okay."
