It was with a heavy heart (and heavier feet) that Inigo made his way - yet again - to the visiting rooms. Why did people insist on visiting him? If he had any choice in the matter - which, he felt, he didn't, whether that was actually true or not - he would receive no visitors whatsoever. No good would come of having any visitors, he was sure; all it would do was make himself feel even worse, and probably his visitor, too, whoever it was. Was it Dove again? No; he couldn't imagine her visiting a second time. So who was it? There was no way it was either of his surrogate parents, and they certainly wouldn't have allowed his little sister to visit - granted, they weren't even in Kodo anymore, but still. Did they even know he'd been arrested at all? Probably not. Would they even care?

Rosie had yet to take a seat, uncertain she even wanted to right now, to sit awkwardly and wait for the other door on the other side of the room to open, and yet another familiar face to walk thought... a friendly face, someone she had trusted, cared about.
Someone else who had lied to her.

She could barely look at the door, finding the receiver hanging on the wall much easier to look at than what was going on in the other room.
It wasn't until the movement on the other side of the glass drew her attention that Rosie even lifted her head, staring down at the boy that was now seated in the dulled plastic and rickety metal frame chair.

in one smooth movement Rosie moved to sit down at well, reaching for the receiver on the wall, planing it to her ear and looking up at Inigo, waiting for him to do the same.

Inigo didn't need to look directly at his visitor to know who it was. Oh, no. No no no no no. Anyone but her. Why couldn't it have been anyone else? Rosie was without a doubt the sweetest girl he'd ever met, so nice and trusting and compassionate - and he'd lied to her this entire time, even if he'd never deliberately said any false words. He didn't need to say anything to be lying.

Regardless, he sat down heavily in the plastic seat across from her, and hesitated before reaching up to take the receiver in hand and place it against his ear. He opened his mouth to speak, but words failed him completely. There weren't enough to describe the amount of guilt he felt about everything, the guilt that weighed down his heard and effectively silenced him.

"I don't want be believe this Inigo..." She said at length, when it was apparent that if she didn't say anything, she would be spending her time sitting in silence, staring at her friend in prison clothes.
"Please just tell me its some kind of mistake, or mix up, or something."
She sounded like she would be ready to believe him, if he just said that he wasn't a Rocket, he was just in the wrong place in the wrong time and they got the wrong person. the look of her face as she watched him her eyes hopeful, but her brow was furrowed.

Again he opened his mouth to speak, and again words failed him. Instead, the only response Rosie would receive was a heavy sigh full of regret and shame, as he bowed his head even more.
