Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Adam doesn't any conscious memories of being able to sense anything out of the ordinary. Anything he does remember is buried deep within his unconscious and seemed less real than the hallucinations he had from the side effects of medication. As far as he knows, his first experiences with anything out of this world were in Wonder Park.
Ah, Wonder Park. He remembers getting the invitation to visit WP like it was yesterday. Probably, because by his reckoning, it was. It was supposed to be a one day trip. It was supposed to be fun. He was supposed to be home by dark and be up and ready for work tomorrow. Instead, it was the second worst day of his life. He saw people die around him. People he saw alive and kicking earlier that very same day. People he talked with, ate with, had stupid conversations with... All dead.
It left an impression on him to say the least. Even if he had a home to go back to, why would he want to knowing what he knows now? He figures it's natural to want to save people the same way he, himself, was saved. That's his motive.
