Tell us which version of the game you're getting and why.
Like: "I'm getting _ because I live the version exclusives. Like ____ and ___." or "I'm getting them both, because I have more disposable income than I know what to do with and/or no priorities!"

I'm getting X, because the Mega Charizard is cooler, the legendary Xerneas is cooler, and because Staryu and Starmie are version exclusives and I like them. Also the sea creature thingy... the blue one looks better.

I got Y because apparently everyone got X. Well hey, ******** y'all.
[Edit] Seeing Pinser and Manectric's mega forms really make me happy with my decision, aside from that almost all of the mega form look retarded. /SPOILER

Fun fact: tyranitar is version exclusive to Y, but *spoilas*it's mega stone is only in X, there's a corresponding relationship with Agrron and others like houndoom/manetric.
I guess to encourage people to trade.

I guess to encourage people to trade. Yeah but atleast I get the mildly cool looking megas. And, everyone saying they got X for mega Charizard, mega charizard is also in Y, just a different form.

Yeah, functionally speaking Charizard Y is probably a better upgrade.
Powered up fire moves and better stats.
Looks wise it might not be as cool, but hey, whatchagondo?

Seriously... spoilers are kinda the only way to figure this new s**t out.
To evolve one Pokemon you gotta flip your 3DS upside down when it reaches a certain level.
Others need a certain type in the party while some only evolve when traded with a certain item.
Aaaaand, some mega stones can only be found under certain conditions.
[Edit] It's kinda like Shedinja from Ruby/Sapphire that only evolved to be ghost/bug under certain conditions of it's own.
[Edit2] Fun fact- Pancham can learn surf.

Shedinja is literally a second pokemon that appears when nincada evolves into ninjask and you have space in your party. (I think there's a level required too.)
Ruby and sapphire are underated. There were a lot of cool pokemon, and also secret bases.
