[PRP] Who's that Pokémon?

From the beach she had moved inland, up and over the mountains and then down into the forest. There was a large human settlement close by, perhaps three miles south-east, but she was away from their major highways and felt safe enough. Safe but hungry. Sighing heavily the Mewtwo floated up towards the tree branches and scanned for any sign of... oh, nuts or berries or something; whatever it was wild Pokémon ate. The food she had appropriated upon her departure was running very low now and if she didn't learn to forage she would be in some trouble. In the forest however she was confident she would find something edible, or failing that someone edible. Hopefully the former; the idea of dinging on something you could hold a conversation with was rather distressing barring a few exceptions, and those individuals she would prefer not to eat for fear of catching stupid. While she knew that wasn't technically possible she still wasn't fond of the idea.

Fortunately for the wandering pokemon, a young boy with strawberry blonde hair made his way by, his pokemon in tow and his arms wrapped around a large paper bag full of foods. The team had been training, and as the boy praised each of his companions and picked out a spot nearby to divide the food for them, he beamed brightly. They had done such a good job today!

A pichu ran and jumped onto his shoulder, pulling unrestrained giggles from his mouth as he handed his Charmander a ball of pokemon food, which the fire type eagerly accepted. "You guys are so great! You definitely deserve mom's cooking." He offered a seemingly bored Torkoal a portion of the food, just as enthusiastic even though the response was much more muted--barely a grin. The pichu fell into the bag itself and quickly emerged with a few berries--much to the boy's amusement, though he did scold it shortly-- while the final of the four was offered food from the boy's hand again. "Here you go, Rona... it's real good, I promise!" The little aron blinked up at the boy for a moment, then nodded and accepted the food he offered before bumping against his knee fondly as he sat and promptly curling up to enjoy her fare.

"Maybe we can go another round after we eat!" the boy suggested zealously.

The Charmander--supposedly the head of the youngser's team-- only shook his head fondly and patted the boy's shoulder before taking a seat at his side.

As she heard the noise the psychic type dropped to the ground and hunkered down behind a bush. Blast! A human was all she needed. Cautiously, everso cautiously she peered through the leaves. It was a young human but for all its youth it already had quite a collection of slaves. What was more peculiar still was the fact that they all looked to be quite content....

Food!

She wanted it, and by all the laws of physics she was going to get it! Frowning to herself the Mewtwo tried to decide what to do. Eventually she settled on distraction as an opening and, reaching out with her mind, rustled a bush behind the boy. Maybe if he went to investigate she could whisk away some food. If she was very lucky she might get a chance to free her brethren too... brethren or sistren, surely there should be a feminine form of the word.

Content, Jace stroked the aron's back as he watched her eat, then looked around at the rest of his team, particularly the charmander. "Your ember is stronger than ever, Chester! I bet you'll be able to do a flamethrower in no time!"

The charmander only grinned, and wiped the crumbs away from his nuzzle.

When the bush behind them rattled, however, the entire team jumped, and the pichu darted up the boy's arm to his shoulder, eyes large and blinking. The boy, ever ready for action, pushed himself to his feet, leaving the aron and the torkoal to enjoy their food. "Think it's a pokemon?" he asked the pichu, clearly assuming that it was, indeed, some wild creature.

Ah-ha, excellent! Not about to waste this chance the Mewtwo straightened up and waved to the pair of pokemon who had been left eating. <> she sent telepathically. <> They couldn't be as happy as they were pretending, they were putting it on to avoid punishment most likely.

When the Mewtwo straightened into their line of sights, the torkoal and aron looked up, a bit startled to see such a creature, but otherwise, just very confused. Unfortunately for the legendary, the Aron was young, just hatched from her egg not long ago, and therefore was confused as to why she was being addressed and only tipped her head to the side. The torkoal was simply lazy, and blearily blinked at the pokemon addressing him. <<...is there something wrong with the boy...?>> Help them...?

<> the Mewtwo asked incredulously, <hostage!
