Swap-Force came out yesterday, and I got the GameStop-exclusive Dark edition (so not only did I get Lightcore Hex, I got five Dark Skylanders)
The Swap-Force only ones are literally swappable ou o
Dark Edition gave me two~~

*Lightcore means they light up more than most when on the Portal of Power, so it's really obvious

I have this game, and I have to say that I'm pissed at how brazenly Activision is ruining franchises. They have irreparably messed up the Spyro universe, and didn't even have the common courtesy to make the story even slightly revolve around him, despite going through the trouble of putting his name in the title, and basically used the classic character to ride the coat-tails of the franchise, hoping that the fame of the series would outweigh the fact that all of their characters weren't even given enough thought that they had actual names or were anything but an excuse for some bad puns.

I hated this game and the company responsible almost as much as I hate Square Enix for touching the Hitman series.

The data they have on Spyro puts his homeland far away from Skylands
And the game is 6+, so you might want to think about that. If they don't seem thought through, try seeing it as a young kid. To them, they'll be funny
Nor is the entire series about Spyro
and what's that in your sig? A guild that's against hate? Contradiction much?

"Spryo's Adventure" sort of implies that the story is about Spyro, when really he's only included as a attraction point for fans of the series he came from. There's no reason whatsoever for Spyro to be in this universe aside from marketing.

And yet we have Giants, Lost Islands, Cloud Patrol, Battlegrounds and now Swap-Force on top of Spyro's Adventure
Obviously, it's not a bad series, since it has all those games out, are you seem to be insinuating

Ah yes, because Activision would never spew out a bunch of low quality games. As such, I suppose we should all ignore CoD and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
