It was in the early afternoon that Seraphine found herself headed down the same path she took almost daily now. The sidewalk twisted and curved down the busier streets and into a quieter residential district near a school, and would lead her to Rosie's new house. Well, not as new as previously; the brunette had taken this same path enough times by now to know it by heart at this point, as had Luna. The Rapidash needed no guidance from her trainer as they walked along, Anastasia trotting along beside or behind them while Agatha remained perched atop Luna's back behind Seraphine, and was currently engaged in appraising everything they passed. Nothing, thus far, had seemed that edible, unfortunately.

It had been a long time since her boots had felt the concrete of the city, the bustling noise of the traffic and the smell of well lived and industrialized arias. She had to admit she missed it!
The seasons were starting to shift, meaning that her job would soon be closing down for the winter months, most people didn't exactly want to go exploring damp cold caves when the weather was already cold enough.
While Ray didn't share the same sentiments, she understood that now as many people were as thick skinned and into that kind of thing like she was.
So, fare enough.

Her black boots rose high over her ankle, the end of heavy duty pants tied just before the boot lip, continuing up with a conferrable bagginess on her long legs, and tied low on her hip with a set of belts.
Her Jacket seemed rather impractical, but the women didn't look cold at all, ending just barely over her chest, the lanky torso wearing a more fitted black shirt with dark suspenders underneath.
Her hair was done up as she usually kept it, and in much more dramatic contrast with her black outfit.
While her jacket did have slots for pokeballs, this time only the black pokeball was strapped to it.
Double Stripe was out, slithering next to her as they made their way through the city, Ray's eyes dashing upwards every now and then, with her half lidded expression, and vague smile spreading over her lips, spotting the appearance of a brown speckled Golbat flittering through the sky.

There didn't seem to be any absence of pokemon on this women, a Pikachu sitting comfortably on the back of the slithering snake, leaning from side to side with the movements of his snaking body, while something much different clung to the back of the women's hood, being practically dragged along behind her as it's tiny gem like form floated in mid-air.
It looked around nervously as people passed, though the women it was holding onto barely seemed to react to it being there.

Sera would soon find that she was not going to be having a peaceful trip to Rosie's place, as a much larger bat form suddenly swooped down in front of her, and landed right on her shoulder, letting out a heavy "Golbat!" from its throat, and folded its wings up.

"Aaaahhh! Still as reliable as ever!" Ray's voice burst from the opposing street "Even more so if I might say" She looked at her gear "Thats a new record Imp!"
the Golbat let out a chirp.

The sudden presence and weight on her shoulder startled her, especially since Golbat were larger than Zubat, but luckily she didn't fall off her Rapidash. Luna halted at the appearance of the flying pokemon, and craned her neck around to watch him with some amount of quiet curiosity. Ray's voice caught Sera's attention next, and she turned to look at the woman with a measure of ambivalence. It was actually a little surprising she hadn't seen her around here sooner. "Good to see you, too," she greeted with a healthy dose of sarcasm, though the tones weren't at all annoyed or venomous as they were when she'd begun training with Ray months ago.

Oh dear, this girl didn't seem to be quite as happy to see this tall one as she was to see the girl on the Rapidash. That much wasn't really hard to tell.
The Jirachi floated over to peer up over the gray hair, her mouth opening slightly as she surveyed the brunette, floating up higher.
She didn't seem shy or timid at all, in fact she seemed to be rather bold as she drifted away from the taller women, her brow furrowing as she watched the interaction.

Ray walked right up to the Rapidash, holding her hand up in a greeting toward the beautiful beast, while Impact spread his wings again, taking off of Sera's shoulder once again and into the trees.
Ray let out a Laugh before putting her free hand on her hip and looking up at Sera.
"I knew you would miss me. Its been too long, now hasn't it."

Sera raised a brow at the small pokemon as it hovered around, watching it for a few seconds before indicating it with her short arm, "What's that?" The brunette knew quite a lot of pokemon thanks to Ray helping her train and pushing her to study, but she didn't know every pokemon, and thus the unfamiliar pokemon received only passing interest and mild curiosity.

Luna stepped towards Ray to gently press her nose into the hand the woman held up, whether that was how the ex-trainer intended the gesture to be or not, in her own greeting, coupled with a soft nicker. Anastasia, also, moved forward to look at the woman with some curiosity. "Bree?"

Ray's question gave Sera pause, and she snorted at her words. "Oh, yeah, I missed you terribly." More sarcasm. Her tones smoothed out to something more normal and lent itself to facilitating conversation as she went on, "Yeah, it has. Training around here isn't the same," though admittedly she hadn't been doing it nearly as hard as Ray had made her in Sagestone.

A pair of pale paws gripped Sera's shoulders before Agatha hoisted herself up to poke her face over one of the trainer's shoulders, watching Ray first before her eyes widened, zeroed in, then locked onto the floating Jirachi. That was small, and looked perfect. Perfectly edible, at any rate. One paw quickly shot out to point directly at the floating pokemon, a lengthy claw even extending just as suddenly from the appendage to further indicate her target as she glanced to the side of her owner's face, "Snea?" Could she eat it?

Ray turned her head to look up at the Jirachi, eying it for a couple of seconds in a thoughtful silence, something that caused the Jirachi to jerk back a little and fix her gaze on Ray with an uneasy frown.
"I don't know! Honestly I have no idea."

"Woh woh now, honestly I don't expect you to, don't take that the wrong way, its not supposed to be a question for you,"
Ray reasured, holding her hands up.
"Sera, Meet Jirachi, Jirachi, this here is my pupil, Sera. But really, just call her what you want as long as its relevant to her mood OR particular style for the time."
Ray arched an eyebrow and looked back to Sera, reaching her other hand up to stroke the Rapidash in greeting as well, a smile on her face as she turned her attention to the pokemon.

The Jirachi looked over to Sera, still with a light frown over its face as it looked her over.
Though at a couple more pokemon made themselves known, the Jirachi's view was drawn toward them, doing a double take, the second time looking much more alarmed as her eyes widened and she froze in mid air.
"wh... what?"

Sera had fully expected a response from Ray. She had not expected the pokemon itself to speak - or not speak, really, but inject a response into her head. Her eyes widened and her head jerked up a bit as she stared at the creature with a great deal of surprise and confusion. So much so, in fact, she forgot to tell Ray off for her introduction. "Wait, what... the hell just happened? It can talk?"

Undeterred by the pokemon's abilities, Agatha nudged her trainer's cheek with her elbow as she continued pointing, repeating herself with more emphasis, "Snea?"

The girl frowned lightly at the dark-type before shaking her head a little. "No, you just ate a little while ago." Turning her attention back to Ray and the Jirachi while Agatha sulked and slid back behind Sera, the brunette continued, "So it can talk?" Since when could pokemon talk?

Luna was surprised as well, though didn't show it as plainly - or loudly - as her trainer, but instead with her ears as they perked up in curiosity. She remained still and quiet though, and instead allowed the woman to pet her muzzle.

"Yyyup." Ray chimed, arching her eyebrows and looking like she had been just as surprised about this as Sera was. "Apparently Jirachi are talking pokemon. I know there have been rumors of talking Legendary, but I didn't even-"
She was cut off with a startled jerk when the voice in her head let out a deafening shrike, one that seemed to pierce great fear unwillingly right into Ray's heart.

Jerking her self around, Ray found the Jirachi, throwing its self back away from the group, staring with wide eyes and a wide horrified mouth at the Sneasel

While Ray explained, Sera listened with some attention - she had asked a question, after all, and wanted to know what the hell was up with this Pokemon - when the shriek pierced her thoughts and startled her. It startled all of her Pokemon, too; Luna balked to the side, her eyes widening and ears swiveling around, and Agatha jerked back at the wrong moment and toppled off of the Rapidash. Luckily she landed on her feet near Anastasia, whose ears were pinned back against her head with a look of clear displeasure. "Breon!"

"Sneasel!" Agatha shouted suddenly, her claws extending from her paws as one lashed out in an angry gesture, glaring up at the floating Pokemon. "Zil, sneeaaa," she ended practically in a hiss. She was not pleased.

"What the hell?" Sera asked loudly, raising her only hand to her right ear as if that would help the sudden screaming. Her raised voice attempted to account for the screaming, too. What was going on? "What's wrong with it?"

With another jerk backwards, the Jirachi held her hands as the darkly colored pokemon bristled.
They were making faces, what she had soon leaned to be a negative emotion, but not one she knew very well, she didn't know becasue she couldn't FEEL what it was feeling! There was nothing there! It was just moving around making face and talking but there wasn't anything there. How could there be anything there!

It didn't take Ray long to understand what was going on, and why the Jirachi seemed legitimately terrifying.
"Its the dark types." She told Sera, Stepping over in front of the Jirachi "Its psychic, so its probably having a hard time reading them."
She arched her eyebrows looking down at the dark types turning to face the Jirachi. "They're dark types, you just can't hear them becasue of your type, they're not anything you have to be scared of."

The Jirachi flicked its wide terrified eyes from Ray back down to the dark types, not looking at all convinced as she drifted back further.

At Ray's words, Sera glanced down to her small assortment of dark-types out, particularly Agatha as the Sneasel's behavior was the angriest at the moment.

Said Sneasel had narrowed her eyes, her gaze focused very intently on the floating Jirachi. Every fiber of her being wanted to jump at it and rip it to shreds, and it was incredibly difficult to hold herself back from it. Luckily just as her willpower began to slip, she tensed in preparation to pounce, causing her trainer to immediately chastise her. "Agatha, you ate earlier," the brunette reminded her in a firm, displeased tone. "You can eat later - something else. You do not eat domesticated pokemon, you know that perfectly well by now. It doesn't matter how obnoxious it is, you still can't eat it," she added after a brief pause.

With a soft growl, Agatha narrowed her eyes and huffed before she turned, retracted her claws, and jumped back onto Luna's back behind Sera. Anastasia remained on the ground nearby, though her ears remained slicked back; she wasn't sure what to think of this psychic-type.
