[1v1] Ready to Rumble (TG + Sorrow)

Sorrow had been getting an education, but most everything was new. Creeple were nice, anyhow, and the campus was huge. She didn't mind playing tourist for now.

The Center had given her a lot of reading to start her off - baby stuff, but she'd moved on literature wise. She especially liked the Self-Help books. Initially she'd picked them up because of the label, but she'd warmed to the attitude.

A lot of the advice emphasized healthy living. When you had an active, fit body, you had an active and fit mind.

She beamed at the first student to wander too close.

"Hey, dude, you up for testing some of this awesome equipment?"

TG didn't care for monsters. They were a heavy-handed lot, but they were customers and workers and he took a sense of pride in the idea of beating something physically strong. It also would help sooth his damaged ego from the pummeling he got from Sammy.

"Cha. You think you can handle it?" He said, cocky as he took his place. This would be quick. He was a demon after all.

Smiling, he summoned a small flame, trying to muster up a little magic. It was hard considering, and it only managed to produce a little flicker, but magic was magic. He threw the little flicker at his opponent, but if fizzled out before it reached her.

"I'm...just warming up." >_>

"Hmm," Sorrow said looking at the sad little puff of fire.

"You might wanna...work on your energy...okay,"

She pounded her fist into the flat of her palm.

"I got this. You ready? Stand right there."

Why she expected him to stay still and get hit was a mystery.

He was not going to be a punching bag. He jumped out of the way, but still managed to get nicked.

Moving away, he threw his fists to his side. "Hey! I can do more magic in my tail than you can do in your entire body." He huffed and then rose his hand out to summon another flame.

...and then nothing happened.

"Just...wait a sec." He continued to concentrate.

Sorrow waited.

"Maybe you should use like, your body in congruency with your mind. You know...let one flow into the other... your energy is pretty orange. I think that's supposed to mean you take risks."

She aimed another punch.

"I don't know what color mine is. Maybe like, silver."

Sorrow could actually feel something unusual, but she wasn't sure if it was energy or what.

"What? What do you mean orange? I don't know what colors you're even talkin about." He wasn't glowing any colors. The only colors he regarded himself as was red. Red like fire!

He closed his claws and looked at them. "Fighting like that is just like what a monster would say." He grumbled. He wasn't physical. It made him feel - a bit lost.

Moving over, he raised his claw and attempted, rather pathetically and clearly showing it wasn't something he usually did, to slash at her.

Sorrow shuffled back and forth, ready for the hit.

But the guy just sort of, flopped his wrist in the air.

She punched him again.

"You got a name?"

"Oww." He whined, rubbing his shoulder and pouting. That hurt.

He tried clawing at her again. "TG."

"Alright TG. I'm Sorrow. I think, you should try taking a deep breath. And closing your eyes..."

She punched him again.

"OW! No! Why would I close my eyes? So you can hit me?!" He tried shoving her back. Key word - tried.

"CONCENTRATE," she yelled encouragingly.

She seemed excited that he had finally hit him.

So excited she missed.

He glared at her. "I AM CONCENTRATING!" To which he shoved her again.

"Woah. I think your body and energy are aligning."

Sorrow found that she could not be more pleased.

"This is pretty refreshing, huh?"

"I think your body is SHUTUP!" He said, mocking her tone as he tried to move her. "You're so...fat!" He could barely budge her. Who was she to tell him how to fight. He was a demon. He could outdo her any day.

Stupid monster.
