[FIN] A Game of Hide-and-Seek

It was the morning a few days after Indigo had found Tymiko. The girl had gone out alone to forage for some food and had assured the Mewtwo she would be back soon. Though she didn't want her newest friend to worry, she had also gone to check the area around where she had last seen Yuri for signs of other humans. Though initially she hadn't wanted anything to do with any humans, especially those she knew, the passage of time had made her somewhat curious as to how they had taken the situation with Yuri. She knew deep down that she hadn't meant to kill him, however angry and hurt she might have felt at the time. His pokemon had surely seen to it that he'd gotten the care and attention he needed before his life had withered away.

At the same time, though, Tymiko wondered about her own pokemon. It hadn't escaped her notice that Fathom and Distance had deserted her, but she couldn't blame them, either. She wanted to tell them sorry; that she hadn't meant to lose control, but she also knew she couldn't promise it wouldn't happen again. Ty still didn't know how to control her own emotions without allowing them to bottle up and explode later on. Perhaps it was for the best that at the moment all she had was Indigo.

As she knew the area- or was supposed to- where Yuri had been stabbed, Henrietta was now attempting to show Flynn... There may have been several wrong turns and 'no, that's not it' moments, but before... /too/ long, Henrietta was confident they had the right place.
Yep.
This was definitely the right place.
"Yep! This is definitely where! I remember that tree! And there was some water down there and that's where Dove was when we came down and found them..." She pulled a face a little, uncomfortably, while she pointed; not good memories.

Gummy was actually in his ball for once, while Bistra had been allowed to remain out, mostly sat upon Hen's head.

He was loathe to bring Henrietta along. Not that Flynn didn't like her, he did, he just didn't like potentially putting her in danger. Should something happen he would have to protect them both.

Thus with sword at his side, Flynn rode Uniceros with the girl into the forest. Granted he probably wouldn't have found the spot as quickly without Henrietta. Repede also tagged along, and ran with Uniceros and Lambert.

The two Growlithes immediately began sniffing around as they arrived. Flynn remaining perched upon his steed as he looked around. So this is where it had happened. Hopefully they could find Tymiko quickly.

Eventually the dogs found the girls scent, Repede knowing it well, started following it.

"Looks like they have something," Flynn told Hen before having Uniceros follow.

As the place had been near running water, it might have been somewhat more difficult for the canine pokemon to pick up a scent. The waterfall and river had washed away most traces of what had been left behind after everyone had cleared out days before.

However, where there was water, there was also usually damp ground, and where there was damp ground, footprints could be seen. Tymiko had made no effort to hide, either, so it wouldn't be long before the whole group discovered her picking berries at the edge of the tree line on the bank.

She looked up blankly, pausing in her berry-gathering. "Hi," the girl told them.

Henrietta nodded, watching as the pokémon picked up the scent, and then as they followed footprints.
As clueless as Henrietta could be of details, she found herself picking one out; she didn't see footprints accounting for more than one small human.

She also wasn't sure how long footprints could remain in any area and so her excitement was piqued as she pointed at them.

"She musta gotten away! Awesome!" But then she remembered, they were out here because Tymiko was missing. "Oh man, she musta gotten lost!"

But then, they came upon the girl.
Henrietta's face split into a grin as she heard the 'Hi' and she was immediately trying to dismount and run over to her; intending to aim a hug at the formerly girl.
"HI!"

Following the tracks and scent led them right to her and Flynn made a note two properly reward the two puppy Pokemon later.

As Henrietta jumped off and ran to the other girl, Flynn took his time in following. Looking around, he also approached and turn his gaze back to Ty.

"Tymiko? Are you all right?"

However, Repede came up alongside Flynn and Hen. Yuri's companion baring his teeth and snarling at the girl.

This astonished the blonde, though he knew that Repede never growled without good reason.

Ty blinked rapidly, a little startled at Henrietta's enthusiasm at seeing her and the resulting embrace. She smiled slightly in response, though, before patting the older girl on the back.

When Flynn approached, however, she recognized him and her body tensed somewhat. Her faint smile disappeared once more. "Yes, I'm fine," she said, her gaze trailing down to Repede. It became vacant as she stared at the growling Growlithe. "Thanks for asking."

Holding out her handful of berries to Henrietta, she asked, "Would you like some? They're good." She popped one into her mouth.

Bistra warbled, hopping up and down for a moment, like a hat come to life upon Henrietta's head. Something was strange, but she didn't know what; she felt elated that Hen' was happy that this human was found, but Repede's growling was seeding an anxiety in the bird, and so the Swablu hopped.

Henrietta misinterpreted it.
"Oh right! Tymiko, this is Bistra! Bistra, Tymiko! Thanks!" She grinned, pleased to hear the girl was alright, and accepting a berry happily.
She frowned a little at Repede, turning to look at him.

"No, Repede! Look! We found her! She's not kidnapped!" At least, Henrietta assumed not, but the growling gave her some pause and she gasped.
Perhaps the perpetrator who stabbed Yuri was standing close by! Perhaps that was why the fire type growled... She tried to look past Tymiko, to pick out some lurking stranger she imagined would be there.

Flynn was also confused by Repedes growling, knowing the dog was trying to them something. Thus he placed a hand on Hen's shoulder, interjecting to ask some serious questions, though he was glad that she was okay.

"Tymiko, what happened? You know that Yuri was stabbed, right? Do you know how it happened?"

Some answers would sure be nice.  

[Tymiko]

"Hello, Bistra. Nice to meet you," the girl told the bird cheerfully, offering her hand of berries out to the Swablu on Hen's head as well.

"Kidnapped?" the girl repeated softly, looking from Repede to Henrietta to Flynn. "Why would you think I was kidnapped?" If she noticed Hen's attempt to look past her, she gave no indication, her attention instead remaining on the blonde man.

"Sorry, who?" she asked, brows knitting in confusion. She popped another berry into her mouth before offering her hand out to the others.  

[Gwennythe]

Bistra paused.
Well. She was being offered a berry; maybe the Growlithe was mistaken to growl; it was nice to be offered a berry. She gulped it down.

Hen' didn't see any strange people lurking, and besides, they had Flynn and a lot of pokémon; she wasn't worried.
"Cuz we couldn't find you and Yuri got stabbed and stuff!" Henrietta explained, and then blinked in surprise as Tymiko 'who?'.
Anxious, she looked back up to Flynn, with an unspoken question.

Flynn was also confused with Ty's response and Repede kept growling lowly.

"Yuri..." Flynn tried again, thinking maybe she didn't here him right. "He was stabbed and nearly died and you were the last person with him before it happened." The man's own brow furrowed slightly.

"Tymiko if you know what happened, please tell us."  

[Tymiko]

"Why were you looking for me?" Ty asked Henrietta, tilting her head curiously. When she turned to Flynn, Ty's attention followed. "Who's Yuri?" she asked, her features contorting into an expression of puzzlement.  

[Gwennythe]

"Cuz we were worried about you!" Hen' smiled, but was still very confused by Tymiko's manner... And even more so by the question of who Yuri was.
TV show explanations wandered across her mind and she gasped.
"Did you hit your head?! Oh man, we gotta get you to the hospital..."

Something was not right here. Either Tymiko was playing games with them or she was hurt like Henrietta suggested.

Flynn nodded in agreement, "I agree we should have you looked at."
