Cailean has a rather slender body, a little bit on the scrawny yet somehow fairly strong side. Under his clothing is a few patches of bandages here and there, some old welts left behind from some candle wax designs done late at night out of boredom, some carved in designs as his form of cheap scarification, and some other surprises. his arms are littered with cigarette burns, having used his own arm to snub out cigarettes ever since he was about 17. His skin takes on a more pale complexion as one could imagine, eyes a lovely yet cold and pale green. Under those eyes are a set of dark rings, both eyeliner and sleep-deprivation induced, followed by a spasmodic array of freckles in different shades of brown.

Most of the time it's to get his next high, however his main focus of drive is maintaining life in order to prove those that doubted him wrong.

His main concern in life is yet to be entirely determined, as of now he's in a rather happy spot with himself it seems.

Cailean has some slight BPD, although he is well aware of it and does his best to intervene. How he acts in this other state has yet to be discovered by himself, although he has learned it's lead to some rather interesting outcomes when he 'came to'.

Smoking is the main issue, but other not so harmless habits include falling asleep in the bathtub or going to bed commando regardless if he has a friend over or not. He also has that odd habit with candle wax burns and stick and poke tattoos.

Eh, they're sorta there. They live in other states now, which is perfectly fine for Cailean. However, he is a bit of a momma's boy when it comes to visits, and tries to clean up his act around her.

He does have two friends, Kilei and Xen. While the other two guys don't necessarily smoke cigarettes, they do smoke other things. The trio usually hang out quite a bit, and sometimes have a bit too much fun. Needless to say, its safe to say they're all pretty close in more than one way.

Cailean lived with his mother in a more rundown part of London, the dad some unknowing foreigner that had only been in town for a few days. His mother was a very tough woman however, and soon he too learned how to cheat his way throughout life to make ends meet. If it's one thing Cailean absolutely despises, its people that try to make his childhood into some sob sad story. To the ginger it was pretty normal honestly, and if it had upset him at any time then he most certainly say what's on his mind. He had quite a bit of friends growing up, although most would dub the group as the 'trouble children' of the neighborhood. As long as Cailean was making it home every night and kept good grades in school, his mother didn't worry all that much about his whereabouts for she did not want to be that heckler of a mother to her only son. Cailean was very grateful for this, and thus was able to partake in reckless activities he looks back at as fun pastimes. Smoking his first cigarette, only to hastily snub it out on the inner part of his arm when a patrol car came by out of panic, setting random fires in secluded areas to tell stories with his friends, skinny dipping... reckless, mostly harmless fun. Because of this freedom, Cailean was pretty transparent with his mother about everything, which is why they have a pretty good relationship.
Now as for Emmett, Cailean would gladly murder him if the chance ever presented itself. Emmett was a rather spiteful child, and one day over a trivial argument of cigarettes, some words were hurled at Cailean about his mother and her 'lifestyle', and how Cailean was nothing but "rubbish from a broken condom". A fistfight ensued, and bleach was thrown into Cailean's eyes at one point in the scuffle. That night was horrible, for many reasons. The main one:
Cailean lost his sight some hours later.
Kilei and Xen were true enough to Cailean to take him home, the ginger had waited too long to remove the chemicals out of fear of being arrested or in trouble with his mother and cause more conflict. His mother was devastated, and ended up in jail a week later after getting her hands onto Emmett. Sadly, Emmett's father had intervened, and the little brat was never convicted due to the street rat appearance of Cailean.
Fast forward a year later, Cailean lived in Kilei and Xen's basement, the space transformed into a separate flat of it's own with some accommodations to Cailean's disability. He doesn't seek pity from others, and mostly spends his days with his friends or alone daydreaming. However, wanting to reneged high school, Cailean readied himself to enter daily life once again.
