Dale turns on his laptop and doesn't pay an attention to the student that came running in the classroom. He started working on next week lesson plans.

❝ Virile had been wandering around the halls aimlessly. He was frustrated with himself but he couldnt just skip his own class. The man sighed and ran a hand through his hair, deciding he'd just have his class do a whole lot of nothing. Sounded like a fair enough idea, busy work was always good.
He came up to his classroom door and walked in with a smile for his students. "Sorry I'm late kids, I got held up." He didnt bother to explain what held him up of course, and his eyes turned to his desk.

He could see a little blonde head sticking out from under, his desk drawer open and candy jar missing. Virile knew right away who it was and chewed his lower lip as he walked over. "Keahi." He said, pushing the drawer in and squatting down beside the boy. He peered at him with his cool grey gazed and reached out, gently smoothing back the blondes bangs. He wasnt all quite sure what to say. He thought he might need to apologize for being so rough with the boy before, but then he also didnt want to let go of his pride like that. In the end he knew itd be for the best and he leaned completely out of sight from the class and placed a warm and short kiss on Keahi's forehead. "I'm sorry for how I acted the other day Dear, I shouldn't have gotten so jealous.." he mumbled, pulling away with his eyes averted from Keahi.

Despite Daniel's not all too friendly looks people somehow always came to him when someone was messing with them. Probably because they knew he would do something about it, but was beside the point. Today hadn't really been any different; one of the younger boys was bullied by one of the older, ran to Daniel for help and that ended up with him getting into a fight. Again. It wasn't all too bad this time - a bloody nose (blood which he'd simply removed by wiping it on his shirt) and a few bruises. Nothing unusual for him. At least that poor boy didn't need to get bullied again.

Daniel sniffled and winced slightly at the stinging pain in his nose. "Ah, shi-" He wiped away some more blood on the back of his hand. From the corner of his eye he caught sight of the art's teacher and turned to look at him, following him until he was out of sight. Class? Probably. Might as well pay him a little visit while waiting for his bleeding nose to stop running. Or perhaps he should go to the doctor's office... Nah. Having made up his mind Daniel strode (or rather dragged his feet) towards the classroom and stopped in the door opening. Of course Keahi had to be there and...why was Mr. Mortimer so close to him? He kept his eyes on the blonde boy for a moment before averting his gaze. He snorted a bit - something he regretted due to his nose - and gave the rest of the students a quick look before plopping down on a seat. "You don't happen to have any paper, do you?" he asked as he pinched his nose, eyes on Virile with one hand under his nose to stop the bleeding as much as he could.

Kei went back to sketching. He smiled at the picture, then looked up seeing the teacher. He smiled at him and went back to what his was doing.

Dale notices the teacher also then the smell of blood from a student that has entered the classroom. What the teacher does with his students and how handles his class doesn't matter to him as long as it doesn't effect Kei. Glancing at Kei, he figured just a little longer before they can leave this classroom.

Keahi was in the middle of stuffing specific flavors of lollipops into his mouth in order to hold them to free his hand that wasn't holding the jar to fish out more when the owner of the jar caught him. But he moved his hair out of the way for him, so he wasn't mad. Mortimer kissed him on the forehead, so Keahi wasn't mad either.
What had happened the "other day," was long gone until Mortimer brought it up again. Keahi fell for the pity when he acted sincerely sorry and apologized, and Keahi immediately dropped the lolli's. "You don't have to apologize." Keahi immediately touched him in return, until the one they were talking about walked in. "Daniel." And his attention was on him.
Keahi went to his side immediately, sitting directly in front of and over him on his desk so Daniel had no choice but to acknowledge him. Keahi used Daniel's chin to maneuver his view of his nose. "Are you okay?"

Kei finished shading in the picture and smiled. The picture was of Dale sitting at his desk working on his laptop. Kei really liked this picture and just looked at it.

Dale closes his laptop then return it to the bag, he didn't want to finish while in here with these different distractions going on between the art teacher and its students. He looks to the at Kei to see if he was done with his sketch, "I'm guessing your pleased smile is your done with your sketch?" he asks for confirmation.

Dale looks at Kei's sketch and smiles seeing that he was in it along with his laptop. "Yes, I like very much. We should definitely frame so it would be hanging near your bed" he answered honestly.

Dale stood up also, "We can shop for picture frames after school before the rub" he suggested as he left the classroom with his bag on his shoulder. He is glad to be out of that Art classroom.[exit]
