Xia only nodded right back as what else could he asked for. "And you? what would you be?" He wondered as he tried to cover up his little mishap with the displays. Xia stood proud still wanting to trade his form for the four legged world so he could see something. "You allergic to cats by any chance?" He asked as he was really debating it. Then sensed more eyes on him from the kitchen, "You again? You have to wait a bit longer. " The staff member retorted. Xia flashed his fangs hissing at them.

"Stop being so loud...it isn't like I'm deaf or anything."


OOC: he is blind in human form and relays on his animal senses to help him. As a panther he can only see black and white.

"What would I be?" Philip asks, thinking. "What do you mean?" He would hate to answer the question with the wrong answer. It would irritate him to no end if he did something like that. "And I'm not allergic to cats."

He smiles as Xia hisses at the kitchen staff. It was amusing, and somewhat adorable, like watching a kitten hissing at something it doesn't like. Speaking of... Philip wanted to see what Xia's cat form looked like. Or at least, he assumes Xia has a cat form. He clearly has a tail, and by his act, well... Philip felt his curiosity coming through.


[ooc: Ah! I see! and I won't be on for a while maybe if I do go. I may not? Well, we'll see.]

Xia smiled as the male pondered, "Well If they are interest do that make you the same or more?" He asked at this point he was too busy trying to make it seem like nothing happened about the display.

The staff member didn't agree with Philip on Xia of course. Xia let his ears out as he lost it because water was flung at him. "Now shoo before you get hair all over things, Cat!" Xia ears' twitched at this. He growled standing tall now with his tail hitting the floor repeatedly. A cat? He was not some common cat! To be hit by water like he was a domestic was....Xia grinned as he was going to be one and walk all over the dishes and shove them off with his large paws. Xia glanced over his shoulder, "That's good to know. What about panthers?" He beamed as he planned to help the nice kitchen staff as ...a cat. Yes he was calling himself a cat however that was him not others.

He hunched now not waiting for Philip to answer. Black fur started to develop and his hands formed into paws. Even whiskers started out on his face.

Philip nods in understanding. "I see. I would like to think I'm rather normal. Though I doubt it." There was no way anyone raised by such interesting parents could be normal. He couldn't say he was normal when he could do what he could.

Philip grins suddenly, the smile brightening his expression. "Panthers are beautiful creatures." He says. He was smiling because he figured it out. Xia is a panther! It made sense.

And then he watches, fascinated, as Xia begins to transform into a panther; the black fur that grew, the transformation of the boy's paws, and the formation of whiskers. He steps towards the sleek black feline, wanting to stroke its fur. He had always loved big animals- he had been made to live with a wild panther once. He had survived, obviously, and fallen in love with large felines in general.

Once on all fours, he stretched glancing about seeing the gray images feeling a whole lot better. Wait did he just chase off Philip with this little plot of vengeance. Xia glanced back expecting the male to be showing his tail and running the other way. Nope he was actually walking towards him. A first really. He could actually see the male wearing glasses and a bit taller than him. Xia stared at him taking in the shades. Xia twisted about and looked at the male further. The panther eased around him realizing the door he would have hit when he was circling earlier. Then how the male looked from the back. Xia rubbed a bit against him allow his tail to curl about his leg. It was his form of talking since he lost it with in this form and who wants a wild cat yeowing at them. Of course what human would know what that meant.

Philip stays still, letting Xia come to him. He wasn't going to encroach on the feline's territory first. If the panther decided to come to him, then he would take it as permission to pet him.

Seeing that the cat was coming towards him, he smiles a relaxed and calm, almost lazy smile, and stretches out a hand, rubbing the giant black cat on top of it's head gently as Xia rubs against him. "Beautiful..." He says softly. He knew cats had sensitive ears, and that the volume with which he spoke would be all the cat needed to hear.

Xia sat for a moment reaching the male's hip with his nose. He was being praised in this form and wanted to enjoy it before he made a mess of things in the kitchen. How odd the male was so easy with this. Xia tried to get him to itch his ears by moving his head. He hadn't had someone scratch or pat him. Xia had his feline grin going swaying his tail low. If only the rest would be like this like his roommate. Maybe he should ....ask... Philip with that so he could at least find the room.

Philip takes the panther's hint and scratches his ears for a while. Xia seemed to love the attention, which made Philip smile to himself. He crouches down and gives Xia his full attention, using both hands, to pet and scratch the panther as much as he wants.

He smiles and tells Xia, "You're very beautiful. Panthers are wonderful creatures." And means every word. Perhaps Xia should meet Alexandria, his panther back home. Though Alex isn't part human, so perhaps it wouldn't work out.

Xia moved about getting his back scratched and almost avoided the kitchen to enjoy it a bit longer. Xia was glad he got this before he had to walk around and run into things. Xia nearly purred swaying his tail happy. He had pride though and managed to stay on sitting. Xia blinked almost confused at this. of course this was true. And he gave in purring for him for this. He didn't run, scream, and then this. The kitchen remember the kitchen.

Philip watches Xia sway his tail in happiness and knows the panther liked it. He hears the black cat begin to purr and gives Xia even more attention. He reaches down and rubs the cat's belly, knowing that most cats, and panthers, liked to be rubbed there.

The soft texture of Xia's fur made the boy's pelt feel like a field of silk as he pets him. It was very relaxing, and satisfying.

Pride went out the window as he gave into being a cat and rolled into every scratch. He nuzzled into the male's hand at one point. He wondered how would the male be on catnip. Xia tried to regain himself and stood up before Philip scratched the right spot and purred louder and lightly pawed at the male glasses as he wondered how he was going to get out of this and get his revenge. It felt too good. clearly he was experienced in this kinda thing.

OOC: And I ask as you suggest... so lets see how that goes. It would be funny if he did end up there.

Philip smiles as the cat lightly paws at his glasses. The panther's reactions made him want to pamper it more. He knew his actions were against his typical distant nature, but he simply couldn't resist felines.

He keeps rubbing and petting the panther, assured by the purrs that he was doing the right things. He brings his head close to the cat's and nuzzles him gently. Philip had taken on some cat-like qualities during the time he had spent with the wild panther, and also from the years he had spent with Alexandria, though they had been separated for a while now. He doubted that Alex would be very welcoming when he comes back after graduation.

He keeps on pampering Xia.

[ooc: Be on catnip? Like, what? And I think Tiny will accept- she's awesome and there will be another spot for one other person if you get yours there]

Xia managed to pulled himself away at one moment trying to calm down. Now he acted like a common cat. Xia's claws scrapped against the tilt and there was no grip at all. He sat trying not to act weird...too late. He was suppose to be a wild cat and here he was looking like a kitten. He licked his chops before his paw and rubbed his cheek. Xia realized he was still purring at that. He gave a small growl and thanked his race for having fur so he couldn't see the blush.

OOC: Oh I was just saying that if he was given catnip. We'll see. if not he is going to be easy to find.

Philip couldn't resist giving the panther another pat after Xia pulls away. He knew the cat hadn't minded the attention. He figures the boy had other things he needed to do.

"Planning on something for the kitchen?" Philip asks softly, raising an eyebrow. He was obviously not opposed to the idea. Humans needed to learn to treat wild animals with more respect. He reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small container. He opens it and takes out some catnip. He always had some on hand, in case he met some feline or other. He offers it to Xia in his hands, holding it out for the panther.


[ooc: Hehee yay! So is it Xia x Philip or no? Philip approves of Xia. He's like, "Cats..." And "Panthers..." lol. Also, Xia is now getting catnip. Don't know what that's going to do...]

Xia shrugged his shoulders and actually did like the idea of being pampered. He really wanted to be... His nose tickled at that moment as he watched Philip hold out a container... already he started to relax just by smelling it. He fight the urge and lost greatly as he began to purr once more rubbing the male's hand before rolling on the ground with no control of himself. he pawed at the hand then bumped it with his nose and even started stretching along the floor moving himself forward with his back legs. Xia's mind felt gone in a dreamlike state. He was euphoric. He rolled about and even knocked into Philip's legs and pawed the air.

OOC: Yes. Xia's pride will say panther but he is still a big act. ohhh... not the catnip lol.
