[PRP] The Snowlax

Flurries of snow drifted down upon the city of Camphoreon, frosting the tops of buildings and icing the streets. Icicles clung and dripped from ledges and windowsills, while steam rose from windows, vents and roofs, smoke from chimneys... Breath clouded among the snow flurries from human and pokémon alike, as they bustled about the city; smalls crowds of scarves and hats, bobbing about on heads and necks.

Gloved hands patted a large clump of snow on the outskirts of the city- the city skyline, hazy in breeze-blown snow, serving as a backdrop, overlooking the girl who seemed to be rolling up an 'extra-large' snowball.

Henrietta had actually forgone a hat, yet her head was warm enough thanks to the Swablu, Bistra, perched upon her head; the bird resembled a woolly hat right at that moment in any case, and seemed quite happy about the fact.
Winglet had elected to stay inside her pokéball, disliking the cold, though Gummy and Fluffster had both decided to enjoy the snow with their trainer.

"C'mon Gummy! Put some more water on this so it freezes better!" Henrietta called to her Totodile, patting the giant snowball. "We gotta get it much bigger!"

Fluffster was pouncing upon snowflakes, attempting to 'catch' them before they hit the ground. She was fascinated; the Eevee hadn't been able to play in snow, like this, until today.

While the past few weeks of Jace's life had been pretty difficult, the boy had since resolved to be as positive as he could, and the few pick me ups along the way--though they weren't nearly enough to completely heal the hurt-- had helped.

Thus, though Henrietta's message was a bit garbled as always, Jace responded positively and had agreed to meet with her, eager to catch up with his training and traveling friend, excited to show her the good changes he and his team had encountered. While it would take a good while for him to finally make it to the location she had described, the boy would eventually appear in a coat, hat, and gloves of his own, a charmeleon walking along beside him on one side, a growlithe on his opposite. Catching sight of the older trainer, the boy grinned, then took off in a stumbley run through the snow toward her, aiming to throw his arms around her in a hug if she would allow it. "Henriettaaaaaa!"

Chester simply shook his head and walked at the same pace. The boy wouldn't go far without them.  

[Gwennythe]

"Jace!" Henrietta grinned, and waved happily at her friend, watching him run toward her, and stepping forward into the hug when he arrived, with a little 'oof!'.
"Hey!"

Gummy doused the giant snowball, and then climbed on top of it for, seemingly, no reason.

Bistra chirped and sang happily, even as she was jostled upon the girl's head, while Fluffster, curious, had climbed out of a small snow hole she'd accidentally tumbled into and was now leaping toward the two fire types, yipping happily at them.

Jace launched himself into the girl's arms, laughing as she returned his hug and greeted him. "What's up? How have you been? Hi Bistra, hi Gummy, hi Fluffster!" Upon sight of the swablu atop Henrietta's head, the boy reached to his belt, fumbled a little--gloves were a bad combination with pokeballs, apparently...-- and released his own little bird, stepping back to watch as she flew around and greeted them all... then perched atop his head, curiously watching Gummy.

The two fire types behind the boy paused, watching as the little snow covered fluffball leapt in their direction. Chester, clearly more familiar with the eevee, lifted a claw, waving to the little normal type with a smile, while the growlithe stayed much more reserved, watching, curiously, but quietly as it approached.

Fluffster yipped in response to the boy's greeting, before pacing and bouncing around the two fire types happily. She snuffled and barked at Chester, recognising him, being quite impressed with the evolution, then bounded toward the Growlithe, yapping at the puppy pokémon happily.
She liked Growlithes after all, they were like Dad, and fire types- she liked fire types.

Bistra returned the greeting to the boy, and then greeted Dawn, with a happy little melody of a chirp, evidently pleased to see them.

Gummy continued to sit on the snowball. After a moment, he added another coat of water- becoming ice- to the big snowball-now-ice mound.

"Cold!" Henrietta replied, cheerfully. "It's awesome! There's so much snow! How about you? We're building a snowlax!"

Suddenly a rogue snowball would come flying through the air aimed at Henrietta!

Another would soon come flying at Jace as well.

If anyone bothered to look they would see a bundled up and smirking Yuri tossing another snowball up and down in his hand. Repede sitting next to him with an amused look.

Chester grinned and kneeled on one knee to put himself a bit closer to the eevee. he asked, watching as it moved toward the growlithe.

Komashi stayed quiet, turning her gaze more readily toward the little pup, her tail wagging just a little as she dipped her head in greeting. It was nice to see such a carefree, young pokemon.

Jace laughed, his eyes widening as he looked over toward Gummy and his throne. "Yeah? That's awesome! A snowlax will be--"

At about that point, he would find himself pelted by a snowball, a bewildered look on his face as he looked around, his eyes widening and a smile stretching over his face. "Yuri! You're okay!"  

[Gwennythe]

<> Fluffster called happily; she -did- like this snow stuff, even if it was cold. It had to be even better for fire types. <>
She then paused and yipped happily at Komashi some more, pretending to pounce at the Growlithe in play. <>

"Yeah, we gotta make it really b-mff!" Henrietta tumbled over in the snow as a snowball broke on her... She didn't know who had thrown it, but she didn't seem to care, immediately grinning and gathering up a load of snow of her own as she dove behind Gummy's current ice-seat.
Jace's shout told her who it was, and she popped up, a snowball already being formed in her hands, grinning brightly.
"HI YURI!" She yelled, before returning fire.

Yuri grinned and held up an arm to shield himself against Hen's snowball as it hit.

He then tossed the one he had before ducking behind a large tree.

"C'mon you didn't really think youd get rid of me that easily did you?" Yuri called back to Jace before forming another snowball and throwing it at him. Repede took shelter behind Yuri and wuffed his encouragement.

Chester grinned. <> he laughed, shaking his head and watching the little pup as she played with Komashi.

The growlithe watched Fluffster, still subdued but with a small smile as well. <> she asked, laying down in the snow to talk face to face with the silly eevee.

Jace laughed, then dodged behind the giant ball of snow with Henrietta, peeking around toward where Yuri now hid as Hen built up her snowballs and returned fire. "Nah, never!" he returned himself, laughing as he dodged the next missile. "Hen's building a snowlax!"  

[Gwennythe]

<> The Eevee bounced just above the snow line to waggle her tail at Repede, before returning her attention to Komashi.

While Hen went down, Bistra went up, creating a strange effect of 'her hat' bouncing into the air comically each time she ducked.
"Yeah! It's gonna be really big! And you can totally help but you gotta beat us at snowballs first!"

Gummy seemed entirely unconcerned.

Yuri grinned, "A challenge huh? All right you asked for it. Being it on!"

With that he formed several more snowballs, took aim, and hurled them at the kids. With Hens head going up and down it was like playing one of those hit the Digglet games.

Repede yawned as he sat there and watched the humans toss snowballs back and forth. An ear perking at the brief greeting from Fluffster.

<> the growlithe explained, watching the pup bounce, though she closed one eye in a half wince as she called out to her father. After a look over her shoulder at the other growlithe, she turned back to the pup. <> It was nice, being able to fend off this kind of weather. It couldn't help the tiredness, though...

Jace laughed, watching as Dawn fluttered around the snowball and Gummy, dodging the flying missiles with ease. Wasn't this fun?

Henrietta's challenge, and Yuri's acceptance of it made him pump a fist into the air. "Alright, yeah!!!" he yelled, before getting down onto his hands and knees just behind the snowball and pulling snow close to him to make snowballs with. "I'll make 'em, you throw 'em, Hen!" he told her, offering up a ball. They could probably take the man down much faster that way!

"Yeah! Good idea! AAH!" She spluttered as now skidded across her head, frosting her hair slightly, though it was soon dislodged as Bistra came down again.
She picked up a snowball, grinning, as she got back up, and threw it as hard as she could in Yuri's direction, before ducking again.

Gummy either seemed perfectly at ease with the situation, unaware, or just possibly asleep with his eyes open.

Fluffster wagged her tail excitedly, ran in a circle, launched herself off through the snow to 'yip' at her father and tell him there was another growlithe here and all about the snow, before immediately tumbling back through the snow, back toward Komashi and Chester.

Repede smirked and woofed at his daughter as she came and went just as quickly. She certainly didn't get that hyperactivity from his side!

Yuri laughed and ducked back behind the tree, only to have a snowball hit his rear on the way.

"Whoa! Hey!"

Ducking away from flying snow, Yuri formed a few more balks before hurling them in quick succession back at the kids. Not noticing the large amount of snow that was on the branches just above him.
