He didn't know whether he should say anything else; there was his control over gold and the Midas Touch, or rather, his lack of control. He says to Nero encouragingly as he accepts the forms. Once they're gone, he takes another look around, nods, then goes into his inner office.

He wasn't sure what he would do if the principle is out, but he figured they could come tomorrow.
