Rory watched as the Ditto sat there staring at him in a huff. Newly acquired, he had been trying to work with the small purple pokemon on its transformations but it didn't seem interested. It kept getting its attention caught back from training by mirrors, reflective objects, even random bits of his clothing. Rory was convinced he had seen it trying to tear apart one of his socks for reasons he wasn't sure.

Magnus was not a happy Ditto. They had been in the room and he had been working on his stretches in the mirror; he had to be in tip top shape if this strange blond trainer was going to take him back out. But then the boy had rudely picked him up and brought him out into the blazing hot desert and for what purpose? Did he want him to melt? Wanting his new human to know he wasn't happy, he sat there in the sand glaring at him the entire time.

Xander had been searching for Rory for a little bit now with a question he hoped the other Rocket could answer. When he did find him outside thanks to having Zack track him down he quickly moved over to him. "Rory!" He called out with Zack following behind with his tail wagging. The Arcanine was happy for the chance to stretch out for a little while and now possibly get into trouble for shedding.

Rory looked up when he heard his name and turned to see Xander coming towards him. "Hey."

It wasn't the other strange blond boy that caught the Ditto's attention however. Magnus tilted himself to the side before slowly working his way over to the large Arcanine.

"I got a question for you if you have the time." Xander said with a small smile as they got closer. He stopped a few feet away from Rory.

Zack looked down at the little goo like pokemon and leaned down to study it, tail still waging. In fact it might have sped up a bit.

Rory noticed Magnus had drifted away and sighed. "Yeah, I've got time. What is it?"

Magnus leaned forward when the large beast leaned down towards him. he smirked.

"Well I was wondering if..." Xander's voice was then blocked out by Zack, his attention focused on the Ditto. He asked excitedly.

That was easier than he thought it would be; the other thing had already given up the name it preferred. Magnus stretched up towards Zach.

Zack laid down so it the Ditto didn't have to stretch so much.

Magnus had absolutely no idea what a 'Xan' was but he recognized the other name; that was what the energetic mouse had told him the blond boy's name was. The one that had dragged him into the desert.

Zack said then tilted his head.

Whatever his own human had brought him out there for, it didn't seem like either one of those reasons. How could one play in this heat? And he had already been training on his own. The Ditto shook himself and turned his full attention back to the Arcanine. he thought,

Zack asked. Had the two days just seem long or something? Or was he attached to Rory already?

If Magnus had eyebrows, they would have been raised. He could handle the Charmeleon and the strange Absol, the Ponyta and the little mouse on the other hand...

Zack said then gave a dog grin.

Magnus smirked as he wiggled about. he eyed the Arcanine before shaking himself. work>
