Sims Stories problem

I have the three Sims Stories for my laptop.
On my previous laptop, which is pretty old now, it could play the games with custom content - mainly hairstyles.
But on my new laptop, I installed the games, and can't extract the files into the newly added 'Downloads' folder.
I have winrar to be able to extract them to desktop, but get an error when i try to extract in the folder.

As I said before I had custom content before, so it is possible, and i have used the same content from the same website, so there shouldn't be any hiccups.

Any ideas what can be causing this?
