(OOC: This is an ORP that's open to ANY Rocket member, and ONLY Rocket members; It takes place within the Ambergris headquarters and is to serve as an IC forum regarding a plot (and IC suggestions, that any character may make) involving a project to improve security via the combined efforts of several departments.)

The room usually assigned to dining had been very minimally, temporarily, re-purposed; it was small- cramped even- but for the purpose of holding a meeting, it was the best room in the temporary base.
A projector- aided by the efforts of some electrically inclined, and technologically-friendly pokémon (and team members)- had been set up, ready to display notes and visual aids from virtual media.
Seats were, haphazardly, placed into vague rows, adhering to no particular ranking structure below elite, while a space was left at the front for a speaker, should they require the front of the floor, and the projector, during the course of their suggestions or talks.

The meeting had been set up, open to all Rocket members, as a forum for discussion on topics of security, and future practice and projects.

Tambrey, with minimal lab equipment, had been mostly restricted to theoretical work while the team had been stationed in Ambergris, but, with the proposals she held in a few folders in her arms, she was hoping that would change.
The agent waited to speak, drumming her fingers gently, and contemplating the best way to phrase her hastily scribbled notes.
She read through a scrappy piece of paper, hastily scrawled on, while she sat and waited, and familiarised herself with the sequence she'd stored her data in, upon a small flash disk.
To her, slight, discomfort, her Rotom, Gauntlet, hovered nearby; its electrical typing was unnerving, still, but she'd gotten to know the pokémon itself, and understood him to be obedient and useful so far, if a little mischievous.
Still, she needed him today.

Rory walked into the small dining area turned makeshift meeting room with his Pichu, Thor, happily perched on his shoulder. Though most of his work since they had been stationed in the temporary base had been surrounding DNA samples and collecting what he could, particularly from his own party, he had listened as Tambrey had worked to put together for the day. Claiming a seat next to her, he put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed as Thor greeted the other electric type.

Upon her hearing of the meeting from Tambrey, Riley had immediately decided to be a part of it, given that her rank was allowed, curious to hear the thoughts and ideas of the other Rockets, even if she wasn't bold enough to suggest her own. It was nice, hearing ideas, as it usually expanded and helped her explore her own.

Thus, when the proper time came, the girl would wander through the halls until she came upon the meeting room, peeking in first to see if anyone else had arrived before her. Spotting Tambrey and the man already seated, she stepped in quietly, offering a small and slightly more timid wave to the pair as she made her way over, her leafeon, Molly, following closely at her side. "Hello..." she smiled, a little quieter in the space of the room. "Can I sit with you two?" The man fit Tam's description of her significant other... It would be nice to meet him, finally, given the lovely things the woman had told her about him.

Molly, smiling brightly, passed her greetings on to the Rotom and the pichu nearby.

Atticus was not fond of the setup. Upon entering the room, he stared flatly at the room's haphazard arrangement, then spent the next few minutes scooting the still unoccupied chairs into neater and more uniform rows. Honestly, it only took a little bit of effort. Certainly it wasn't efficient to waste time on such a menial detail, but they were still waiting on others anyway. His task complete, he seated himself, focusing his attention on a pad of paper in his lap until it was required elsewhere.

While Inigo didn't usually go to meetings he wasn't required to go to - actually, he never went to meetings he wasn't required to go to - he'd been gone so long due to his sudden incarceration, that he wanted nothing more than to have any excuse to include himself in whatever he could with whoever was there. While security definitely wasn't his forte, he still felt a strong desire to be present - if only to feel included and like a part of the team again. He knew he was, of course, but he'd spent several months almost exclusively by himself in solitary confinement. Now that he was free, he couldn't get enough interaction with people and had to seek it out wherever possible. If that meant attending meetings he didn't have to, then by Arceus he would attend all the meetings.

He offered a friendly wave and a nod of greeting to the guy straightening out the chairs - was he helping to set everything up? Man that was nice of him - before he plopped down into a chair behind Tambrey and touched her shoulder. "Hola Tambrey," he greeted with a lop-sided grin, though she seemed to be flanked by two others he wasn't familiar with, so he refrained from addressing her further. Still, he gave them both a nod and the same grin in greeting to be polite as Nerius seated himself in front of his trainer's chair, his finned tail curling over his front paws.

Agent Faleen heard about this meeting and a form of think tank as she got the impression from the message boards Porygon had pulled up to remind her of. as far as the agent was concerned this was not something that she was going to miss, this she placed emphasis on the date, and on the appropriate time, made her way to the appointed room.

Uniform pressed and white, her hair hanging loosely around her shoulders and armed with only a flat tablet she had tucked in the crook of her arm.
Gray boots paused at the entrance of the room, as she stood with a tall alertness, eyes sweeping over the Rockets already assembled in the room.
Two Agents and a Trainee it looked like, so far. "Agent Tambery, Rory, Grunt Inigo." The blond women greeted with a nod toward them. "Good evening."
she nodded to the trainee as well, glad to see that some of the new recruits were joining in on this meeting as well. It was a small base, Faleen recalled many of the new trainees, she had seen this girl around, though had little time to converse with her, everyone had been kept fairly busy around the base.
Though her eyes lingered for a moment on a man who was moving around the room moving many of the seat around.
He wasn't in uniform, and she quickly came to realize that she did not recognize this man. She might have assumed that he was there just helping to set up, until he sat down with a pad of paper.

Slipping the datapad from her arm the Agent made her way over to one of the seats, placing the pad onto the surface and brushing a gloved hand over it to bring up back up from sleep mode.
"Record in storage file B-3, title: date thinktank."

The pad surface flicked to life, as something took over the functions of the device and shifted through the screens to access new files and behind what its owner had asked of it.
once satisfied Faleen took her seat.

Jerome was more or less uncertain as to what he was walking into, He knew it was a meeting of some kind, not a new concept for him, he went to meetings for his old gang quite often, but it was more of a 'sit and shut up while the boss talks' kind of thing.

He took the hint, especially from the other Agents in his department, it might be a good idea to just sit in and see what goes down.
He joined a few of the transport department rockets to the room. stepping in to see a few people already gathered, though saying nothing as he walked over and took a seat, rather uncertainly.
Bro' floating up by the man's shoulder with his stubby arms crossed, and one eye squinting as he looked around the room.

Jerome wasn't in uniform today, and for a moment wondered if he should have been, heck he might not have showed up in a shirt at all if the base wasn't so freakin' cold.
loose fitted jeans and a hoodie would do for now, the hood pulled down and the sipper half way up his chest. not exactly professional, but he had yet to get used to that kind of thing.

When he heard about the meeting Lu had first decided he wouldn't go. It wasn't mandatory and he wasn't fond of large groups of people; it would have been smart just to go about finding something to clean or... something. But since he'd joined it'd been fairly calm for Lu- he'd heard about past raids and how they'd had to change bases, but nothing had happened since he joined up. He thought the meeting would be a change of pace for him. Had to try something new every now and then, right?

Eyes glued to the floor, Lu made his way into the dining room and tried not to look at the people that'd already gathered. He glanced around once, quickly, to figure out where was the best place to sit-- as far away from everyone else as he could get. That way people would hopefully not talk to him and he could just listen. The tall brunet sat himself towards the back, brows knitted; he looked almost angry to be there, but it was mostly just nerves. This felt worse than talking in front of a high school class. At least, he thought, not many people were there. Yet.

The Rotom whirred and chuckled at Thor, greeting him in return, politely, while Tambrey glanced up and offered a pleased, somewhat relieved, smile to Rory as he squeezed her shoulder.
"Getting nervous." She admitted, quietly, clutching her files, and then blinking a little as she watched someone rearranging the chairs. Well, they'd seemed... fine to her, but she supposed that, now, they did suddenly start to look a lot neater.
Riley had arrived too, and the agent smiled and raised a little wave to the trainee, giving a nod. "Hello! Sure, glad to see you."
Gauntlet added another eerie chuckle as he greeted the Leafeon.

"Inigo!" Was the next person she saw, and greeted, as he touched her shoulder and added his greeting. "Good to see you too!"
She clutched her folders a little tighter as the room filled a little further.

"Agent Faleen." Tambrey grinned and gave a nod of greeting, seeming, again, somewhat relieved to see the other agent- tech representative; good, but again, nerve-wracking.

Gauntlet floated and tried to look at the electronics he sensed the agent was carrying, before Tambrey hissed 'stay!' at him. Well, he wasn't here to play, he supposed, yet anyway.

More familiar faces- Tambrey tried to offer a wave to Jerome, and to Lu, if they happened to look her way, before returning her attention to her folders, and to those sitting closest.
"I hope he behaves..." She muttered, in reference to Gauntlet, hovering just above.

It has been awhile since he had been at a meeting. Lex could count on his hand the number of meetings he had attended as member of Galactic. He was in the information business, not think tank business. He was new, and it still felt like he was floating about the base in Ambergris, going to the meeting might, at least, introduce him to new people.

Glit trotted ahead of him, the Servine tail whipping about like a banner. Sideswipe kept to his left. Lex had been working on teaching the Flareon proper behavior, not in battle but the things he learned socializing would help when they switched. Lyra had managed to get a few basic things taught before giving him the fire type.

Lex’s eyes darted around the room, he paused and grinned. “Well, isn’t it Tats and Bro,” He replied, drifting over to the dark man and the Gengar.

Glit snorted, craning her neck up to eye the ghost pokemon.

Jerome knew Tambery, they had a history that he wasn't likely to forget, he gave a wave back, glad to see her again, but otherwise just minded to himself, as the ex-gangster was usually in the habit of.

He almost missed the addressing of him and Bro by Lex, at least until the Gengar let a wild smile spread across his face and he drifted forward with his arms flicking out.

the dark man's eyebrows knited lightly as he looked a the man who greeted him, clearly not recognizing him though he did look familiar. his eyebrows then arched as recognition finally hit.
"Well ********," He muttered, standing up out of his chair and walking over to Lex
"Man I was ready to drop yer a** back in Sandelwood, I wasn't sure if ya were Rocket r'not."

“Recently joined,” Lex replied easily. “Though I think it would have saved me a lot of grief if I just went ‘Take me to your leader.’” Completely with air quote. He nodded at Bro. “Hey, how are you floating?”

Glit rolled her eyes and clambered onto a chair, sprawling over the length, tail flickering. This was now her chair. At least while her trainer was being silly.

Sideways shifted, the Flareon’s eyes wide at the Gengar. He replied, tail thrumming like crazy behind him. Look at that ghost type! Just.. look at himmmmm.

Thor moved to get closer to the Rotom but Rory pulled him back and into his lap to keep a better eye on the occasionally mischievous mouse. Instead the Pichu turned his attention to the Leafeon and waved.

"You're going to do fine," he whispered quietly, watching the stranger out of the corner of his eye. The male agent turned towards the other girl that had joined them. "Hey," he greeted, "Go ahead. I'm Rory," he offered her his hand as he heard Tambrey greet a friend of hers that had joined them.

Glancing over, he gave a small nod in greeting to Inigo.

Clacking his broad teeth at the Snivy that he had met before.
though the words from the Flareon drew his gaze down, eyes widening steadily as Bro' leaned forward to stare at the Flareon

Letting out a breath through his nose that took the place of a chuckle the tattooed man crossed his arms over his chest, "For all ya know coulda been the streets anyway." He replied
