A dark looming figure slowly walked down the streets of the city. The figure carried a large scythe with him, that he let rest upon his right hand shoulder. He stopped for a moment.. looking at the building around him. "This place.. it had seen so many.." He whispered. Shaking his head slowly, the figure continued on. To where... no one knew.

"...Even the building scream they're insane
No rainbows and butterflies to muffle out your cries
We've been sinning to win
And death is our prize"

Renier walked through the streets, still carrying the now empty salad bowl with him from his previous hijinks.

I got lucky that those two couldn't keep up and that i lost them... i hope i don't run into them again anytime soon

while lost in thought about his previous escapade, he bumped into someone.

oh im so-scythe! he said suddenly realizing that a blade larger than his head was inches from his face. he took several backpedaling steps back before stopping and staring at jet.

whoa dude, you do know they make leather covers for those blades, right? your liable to put an eye out or decapitate a hapless passerby with it out like that...

Jet did not even budged as a man just bumped straight into him. He stared at the man as he begun to talk about his scythe. he did make a good point, he could easily harm someone with his scythe. "You're right but the cover will only waste time during battle." He said, his tone lacking any emotion.

well... what about like a sword sheathe so you can quickly draw... am i really going on about this...

Renier looked a bit disappointed with himself for getting sidetracked so easily. he let out a sigh and decided to just roll with it.

so... i take it you fight a lot?

"Yes.. yes you are." He said, in a monotone. He nodded his head at his question. "I do, yes. Demons seem to be spawning more frequently sense I last stepped foot here." here meaning the human world that is.

Renier took another step back, but then finally gained some composure and stood.

oh... demons... how bad of a thing is that? he asked Jet curiously. he had seen demons in his time in the city, and while he had heard horror stories about things they may have done, he had never actually seen such an event take place with his own eyes.

Renier made a hand gesture indicating mixed experiences.
Well... I've met some demons, and while some act like you would expect, there have been a few which were rather... well, pleasant. much like humans in that regard really...

he tossed the empty salad bowl he had been still carrying into a nearby trash receptacle, and pulled out a snack bar from one of his pockets. he proceeded to take a large bite out of it while he kept his eyes on jet, waiting for his retort.

Jet rose a brow. A demon... pleasant? Never in his lifetime has he seen one. "I see.. well I have to say I never met a demon that was... pleasant. I only seen those who kill for entertainment and food."

well, im sure there are plenty of them out there like that, but i've yet to see one doing such things in person, and i kinda doubt one of them will just magically appear nearby to prove me wrong... which is fine by me really, the less of that i see around me, the less of that i can involve myself with. quite frankly i'd rather spend a day learning how not to burn everything i try to cook than fighting a demon from who the hell knows where...

Jet shook his head slowly.. this man was strange to him. Most likely sense he seemed to be very calm when it comes to the demons, it was certainly odd to him. "Do not get your hopes up..."
Was all he said. He pulled up his hood, ready to be on his way.

Renier seemed deep in though as he looked at Jet's scythe.

i should really learn how to clean and treat blades... i could probably make a hell of a living just doing that sort of work for people... plus if i see that other guy again... well... i think it'd take more than a blade cleaning for him not to simply want to decapitate me with it afterwards at this point... huh... wonder what i should make for dinner... oh right, this guy is still here...

Renier tilted his head to focus on Jet again.

well, you look like you're growing eager to be on your way stranger, so i guess i'll leave you to it... safe travels.

i wonder how badass i'd look carrying a scythe... hell knowing my luck, first time i'd use it i'd lose balace and skewer myself with the damn thing...

Jet only nodded his head and adjusted his scythe within his hand. He was about to continue on his way but sensed something he did not sense earlier. He shook his head slowly before looking back up to the man. "Tell me.. is anyone in your family a demon?" He asked for he could sense a bit of demonic energy within the man.

what an odd thing to ask out of the blue... he said as he casually took another step back.

well, it has been alleged that the possibility may exist of such a thing in my family, however, being raised as an orphan and all, it's somewhat hard to find family records...
