There were definitely some not nice words tumbling out of her mouth, under her breath, as the trainee stalked through the haunted house. Again. She despised this place. And the creatures that lurked about. Especially certain horseman. Maybe it was some form of punishment that she'd been sent here today. This wouldn't have surprised her in the least.
:: You really should be paying more attention, precious. :: Vashi grumbled, not happy about any of this either.
Fini just made some rude noise, trying to relax her hands, which kept balling into a fist at every tiny sound. Gawd she hated this place! Her fist ended up slamming into the side of a wall in irritation before she stopped moving and inhaled deeply. She needed to relax. To keep her wits about her.
And if she saw Shaheen, well, she'd kill her.
:: Riiiiight. ::
:: Shut the ******** up! ::
The inside of the haunted house held no interest to her. If she was stuck here, she was going to scout the grounds. Where the bigger prey tended to lurk.

It didn't take Wrath long to find out just where he had to be to be able to get his hands, and metal claws, into a hunter. The information was easy to come by, and the death horseman wasted no time, not even bothering to set up camp, before he left his stuff behind in the sanctuary and set out for the school. Now, the only problem after that had been to find this mysterious portal that led to a haunted house that resided between worlds. He'd had to meander the school several times before the hallway that he needed was found, and soon he found himself outdoors, in a wooded area, staring beyond blackened trees to where a large and old looking house lie. Pursing his lips, he summoned his weapon, a viciously curved sword that glinted sharply in the mid day light. He didn't even stop to think that it might be a good idea to stake out some territory out in the trees. He didn't want to waste any time at all. He strode out into the open, and he hollered, his voice deep and bellowing. "IF THERE ARE ANY WHITE ROACHES HERE, SHOW YOURSELVES." He was out for blood, and he would have it.

Even if she hadn't been just on the side of the haunted house when someone loudly and obnoxiously bellowed, Fini was pretty sure you could have heard the creature from back at the portal. This was... not what she had expected to find today. Well, okay she had hoped to find a horseman (or a specific one), but... not him.
:: What if you were a dark roach? Does that mean you don't have to show yourself? :: Vashi mused.
Fini just ignored him, peering around the edge of the house to see the loud one. He was big. And those were some impressive swords. And maybe she should reconsider... Nope. Not backing out now. She huffed out a breath, summoning her weapon before cautiously stepping into his line of sight.
"Do you really have to be so loud?" She asked casually.

For a short moment after he had shouted, Wrath had been forced to wait, broad chest heaving in anger as a chilling red gaze swept his surroundings. It probably had not been wise to yell, to have his presence given away to any and all who might be wandering this place. He could find himself soon under attack by more then just one white coat, overwhelmed and defeated as they hid behind their numbers, but he did not care. He just wanted blood, and he was certain he could come by that here. He could wet his blade with it, just the beginning of his reaping of what was yet to be paid by the human scum that had tore his home out from beneath him, leaving him to live on donated land.
It was only one white coat that appeared, and a woman at that. His eyes instantly fell upon her, and gruff, short words were uttered in response.
"No. But it got me what I wanted." He gave her a quick look over, his face stoic though his heart thrummed with adrenaline, while simultaneously it ached to cut into her, to completely hack her apart and destroy her. One hunter for every horseman lost, that's what he wanted, and to then burn their homes to the ground. It was all he could think about, all that had driven him to come here and seek them out.

He was quick to close the distance between them, running to where the hunter stood, brandishing his sword in his hand, his eyes holding a dangerous and dark edge to them as he stopped running, digging his heeled feet into the dirt of the ground and leaning back to allow himself to slide, one hand touching down to the ground to keep him from falling while the sword in his other slashed out when he passed. Turning and skidding to a halt, he straightened up slightly, keeping his knees bent but his stance open, a metal clawed finger beckoning for her to come at him, his face stony and his eyes narrowed. She really wasn't sure what to think of this horseman. He was quite different then Shaheen. At least that ******** b***h acted like the predator she was. Not some loud, obnoxious bull with horns too big for his own good. Fini could at least give him some credit for his size. She was definitely not winning any battles that involved strength. Speed would be her savior here. In theory.
"Riiiiight. Because loudly announcing your presence is the best way to get something." She twirled one of the sais swords in her hands methodically as she studied the pony before her.
:: Careful of this one. He wreaks of death. ::
That was such a comforting thought. And then he was coming at her and Fini had a moment to think, Oh s**t! before she was trying to avoid being run into. She slammed her back against the haunted house, feeling the small sting that informed her she'd not completely avoided the attack. Goddamn crazy ponies! Moving away from the house so as not to get trapped against it again, Fini gripped the sais tightly, scowling as he beckoned for her to come at him.
Fine, she'd give him what she wanted. She didn't run to her doom, stalking towards him carefully until there wasn't much distance between them before she was in motion and attacked. Each sais slashed at a part of him she she stepped forward into his space, halted, took a half step back and then spun on her heel to give the slash more momentum.

Wrath simply shrugged his shoulders. She could say what she wanted about his initial call out for a foe to face, but it had done the trick, as she was there to prove. But he wasn't here to chat, or get into any discussions about whether or not it had worked in his favor to "loudly announce his presence" . He was only interested in the fight, now, and in dealing out as much pain as he was suffering through right now, knowing that his family had perhaps not survived the downfall of the isles. When she finally made her way towards him, he ducked from side to side, avoiding taking any initial strikes, his large and burly body moving much faster then it seemed like it should have been capable of. He final slash did catch him, however, and he moved to counter the blow by pushing her arm to the side with his free arm, and flicking a quick slash at her with his sword. HP: 37 Damage: 1

Alright so this one was not big on talking. Maybe he was daft. Would explain why he seemed less... classy? Was that the way to describe the difference between the horsemen she'd met? But this one did seem to love fighting. That much was the same. And... he was swift. Damn him!
If she didn't know the ponies any better, she might have been pleased by the small bit of contact Vashi made with him. But she wasn't. And barely managed to lean back far enough as she stumbled away to avoid getting sliced.
She repaid him in kind, flicking her arm out to slash at his face while it was within her reach.

She seemed to be quite swift as well, and it was a reminder to Wrath that not all humans were as soft and weak as the one's he'd been reaping for the last few years in the human world, cut off from all contact with his own clan, unable to know that they had suffered at the hands of the hunters. It made him realize just how much he had been falling lax in his training, to have this one respond to his attacks tit for tat, not backing down from him despite the obvious size difference between them. The slice of the sai that came his way was again, dodged, but only so much as that it didn't connect with his face. He had enough facial scars as it was, and didn't mean to add any new ones, especially not by the blades of the first hunter he came across. Instead, it struck him low on his neck, near his collar bone, and he took a step back, letting out a huff of air through his nose that sounded a lot like a snort. raising his blade in a two handed grip, it began to turn to black smoke, wisps of it rolling off of the blade and trailing up into the air. Suddenly, his hands parted, and where there was once but one sword, there were now two, one held in the grasp of each of his hands. And then he was darting forward. No cocky smiles were given. No one liners needed. This wasn't business, but that didn't mean he needed to draw things out with any amount of bravado. He just wanted to inflict pain. To possibly kill. To reap. That was all. Driving forward, he struck out with one of his swords. Spinning, he struck out with the second. Both met their mark easily, though the second swing seemed to carry a lot more momentum then the first. He grunted with the effort of the swing, and then, just as suddenly as they were there, both swords were gone. And just the single, regular one he had started the battle with now remained in his hand. HP: 35 Damage: 15 Fear attack: T2 Double Take

Big and fast. This was not good. She used her smaller form to the best of her ability, trying to avoid any hits he threw her way. Though she wasn't landing anything solid herself. And that was not good. Even with Vashi snarling in her mind, Fini didn't need the vârcolac informing her that they were in trouble when the horseman backed away and his sword started to change.
For a half a second, Fini felt a sense of deja vu, remembering as Shaheen's sword began to glow so bright. And then it was plunged into her body as her fear shield shattered.
Shaking her head and biting her lip, letting the pain keep her focused, she stood her ground, legs locking and preparing for the impact of the larger male coming at her. But the single sword she had been prepared to block was suddenly two and Fini was too slow to block both. The sais slid screeching along one blade, slowing it a little as the first struck her, pushing her right into the second. The hit was enough to send her to the ground, but she didn't go down easily. Fini tried to hook one of her sais into the horseman as an 'anchor' before a knee slammed painfully into the ground.
Not good! Fini forced her self to her feet, ignoring the way her leg threatened to buckle under her. And she lunged forward, sais held tightly to try and stab the b*****d.

Before he had a chance to even back away after his attack, she surprised him by hooking him with one of her sais, taking him high in the leg, a painful strike that had him gritting his teeth and left him grounded on the spot. She had gone down, but apparently she still had fight in her. De-summoning his weapon for a moment, he swiped out at her with his metal claws. Though they were only on his thumb and index finger, he aimed to slap her with them across the cheek. "Let go." He rumbled, his voice deep, low, and dangerous. HP: 30/40 Damage: 1

He did NOT just slap her?! Fini blinked rapidly to keep her eyes from watering, shoving away from the stupid pony with a hand going to her cheek and a look of pure venom being shot his way.
Which would have been more impressive if she wasn't kneeling because her knee buckled and... that was her phone vibrating on the ground.
Fini snatched it up furiously, debating on throwing it at his head. Except the name on said phone caught her attention, momentarily distracting her. A text from Finn. Biting her lip, she took a 'time out' to check the messages. Something about a party? And seconds later another one. Telling her to get her (gorgeous, how sweet of you, Finn!) butt there.
If only she could~
She stayed in the kneeling position she was, shoving her phone briefly into her bra. Both sais were raised and then crossed together, one along the top of the other. And then she pushed forward, striking them out in an 'X' shape as she swiped at him.

There was a buzzing sound. Something sounded like it was...vibrating against something else? His eyes followed the sound, a swift glance down as the girl stumbled away from him, that showed one of those devices he had seen so many humans carrying around. Cell phones, right? The ones he slaughtered often had their eyes glued to them, not paying attention to anything around them. This one, it appeared, would be no different, as she appeared to think that she could just take a time out, a break to took at her phone. The action, for some reason, just enraged Wrath further. His weapon leapt back to hand and he was stalking towards her, when she was suddenly up, her cellular device hidden within her clothes, and she was on the attack instead, surprisingly quickly, her X slash driving him several steps back. Apparently he had angered her or something with the slap. His lips upturned a little in a cold smile, but yet again no words were given as he beckoned her to come at him again, with the same claw that he'd used to swipe at her face. HP: 27/40 Damage: 0
