History
Her birth was the cause of the major rift ten years ago, her mother killed and her demon of a father never discovered. She was taken away, and it was decided she'd be kept alive and raised. The journal that was discovered was her mother's, only so many pages found and not enough when she read it for herself. She was raised in some solitude, and was sometimes taken amongst other children to socialize. A little part of her more abnormal life involved studies of her species, which has led to some mishaps to great findings. Due to much of her time more alone than with people, books, television she gained more of a desire to explore, make friends, and find her soul mate. She wanted to be free, but of course they couldn't exactly allow this or fulfill these sort of things she wanted. They couldn't exactly keep her unhappy either without consequence. It was a little early, but they put their next steps into action. They were setting her up with a future husband as she'd want, an education and a home as long as she was willing to attend to her lessons and help thwart off the demons that plague this world. She's fairly excited, but is given instructions on equity and manners towards what she believes her future husband along while battling against her identity crisis.
Other
She's a fairly upbeat sort of girl and sometimes understanding, though most will see her as bi-polar. Often she is quirky, eccentric, holds a quick temper and a bit of a romanticist. Usually when upset, or just simply not getting her way, her demonic side tends to slither through(a sign of this is color change of her iris from blue to light red or pink). Often she is only bratty, mean, and violent , but if continued then it'll get worse to serious violence, blood lust, and sadistic actions. Such emotional states can lead her to be physically unstable, though no one's ever dared to let it carry so far.
Abilities/Skills: Earth is her element, and she doesn't need a weapon to bend it to her whims though aware she must be under cover she remains with her two short swords. Cuts and bruises won't phase her easily and she is physically weak to water ailments(doesn't like to swim or the rain). She holds the above average strength (capable of lifting a small car at best) and reflexes to match. She still has potential, but requires training still in the art of combat.
Weapons/Other: Her two short swords, each about a foot and a half long. She doesn't carry much else on her besides a book bag for school.

History
With her father owning the school, Mariko has a strong focus on her studies and training. With the small amount of free time she allows herself, Mariko spends with the rest of her squad, forming stronger bonds so that they can achieve more efficient teamwork. Mariko's hard work may not only be because of who her father is, ten years ago her mother was killed by demons and, although she bears no true hatred for the demons, she will give it her all to ensure that no one is ever harmed by demons again. She found it odd that she was not the youngest member of her squad, being that she had skipped a grade. After getting to know Sen however, she found that the girl was sweet and kind. Mariko has also known [Insert demon keepers name here] and Yoka for many years and feels a certain sense of maturity towards them despite being a year younger. She has always viewed [Insert keepers name here] as a bit rash and perhaps over confident: she feels responsible for him since his sister looks up to him and both he has lost both of his parents.

Mariko is very wise for her age and level headed. Mariko is more-so closed than open and friendly, but she still shows kindness to just about everyone.

History
Ten years ago, when Yoka was eight, the major rift in Japan ruined the world’s blissful ignorance, and stole Yoka’s mother and father from her and her twin brother. The only person she had left, besides her distant Aunt and Uncle, was her brother. Despite being his twin, she’s always admired him as if he were an older brother. But as they grew, and her brother honed his rare spirit element, she fell behind. She also had to realize that being an orphan didn’t matter get her ahead. She was a tiny piece of a bigger picture. So she undertook intensive training to catch up to her brother and become a bigger piece in the war against demons. They grew quite distant, even in the academy, while she built on her leadership, talent, and and all for one-one for all ideology.
Other
Yoka is considered a strict, but effective teacher. She plays on the strengths of everyone, and values absolute honesty so she can keep her team in check, and vice versa. Despite her air element, she’s never much liked heights, as she was always a horrible climber as a kid. She’s a little quirky, and imformative at strange times when distracted, or multitasking.
Abilities/Skills: Yoka's environment is wind, and her expertise is team work. She generally spreads her "mist" before battle, with Mariko’s help, which can provide an intuitive sense of communication among her teammates. She knows a butload of martial arts, cooks well, and sings beautifully (but only her brother knows that). She’s a mastermind in planning, coordinating, and multitasking. Her main skills are:
Mist: with assistance from a water elemental, spreads a fog that can provide crude emotional telepathy.
Harmattan: with help from an earth elemental to relieve the load, she can whip up sand storms.
Heat wave: with a fire elemental she can feed the flames and boost their power and direction.
Sylph Speed: Using the blustering wind, Yoka can increase her momentum and speed to inhuman levels, as well as her body’s precision.
Twister: Throws foes into funnels of varying strength, pitting them against debris at Yoka’s mercy.
Weapons/Other: A great katana, as broad as her palm and very thin, named Octahedron. She also has enhanced spinning stars.

History
Leon, or as some people call him the last raven, is a hard working individual who lost just about everyone he knew and cared for at the hands of demons and his sisters were the straws that broke the cammel's back so to speak. He keeps their favorite rings on a chain he wears around his neck and he, for some odd reason that only he knows, doesn't like the keeper of the half demon even though he doesn't know the guy's task. He often works on his forms alone or with his cousin, training with his very own custom weapon that can turn into anything and everything known as the fang of fenrir. Thing is with that weapon, he has to say each form individually.
Other
Leon may be a bit of a hard a** when it comes to training and harsh toward the keeper to the point of openly challenging him in front of God and everyone, but he is also kind to a degree. He's one of, if not, the hardest worker on his team and keeps shooting for the top. He is also merciless in battle and will sooner incinerate a demon than anything else. Get on his bad side and he will cook you one body part at a time.
Abilities/Skills: fire elemental and heavily skilled with any form of combat. Armed, unarmed, close quarters to long range. Any weapon is good enough in his hands. He is a very tallented marksman, which earned him the title of "Hell's Marksman" and his skills with other weapons forms earned him multiple titles and codenames such as the grim reaper, batosai, demon swordsman, the everchanging combat specialist, the hound of hell, and the wolf of war.
Weapons/Other: the only known multi-form and multi-role weapon known as the Fang of Fenrir. His signature elemental move is flame explosion, based off of the flame alchemist Roy Mustang in fullmetal alchemist, he snaps his fingers and creates an explosion with an intensity ranging from a sunburn to supernova and has a range of as far as he can see without any optics (binoculars, camera or a scope). He holds onto the rings of his two dead sisters, who died from a demon attack. The demon was incinerated by Leon from the pain, anguish and pure rage he felt when he witnessed his sisters being mutilated by the demon.

History
Yamauchi has had a more-or-less happy childhood, but he is far from naïve: he has always had his nose in a book, and as a result is capable of great empathy for others situations. His cousin Leon and he grew close after Leon’s family’s murders, and Yamauchi greatly admires his cousin’s drive. While he knows of his cousin's resentment towards [insert the Demon Keeper's name here], he can't help but admire him as well, for transforming his pain into leadership. He joined the Academy at his cousin's insistence, and has not since regretted his choice. Facing down demons is the stuff of legends and fairytales, and to be living in one is beyond exhilarating, but Yamauchi is still too aware of the dangers that demons and hubris pose, so he trains hard and stays prepared. His recent reassignment to another squad felt like a slap in the face, and he has thrown himself into his training, believing that it is because his “replacement” is a better fighter than him that he was removed.
Other
Yamauchi is headstrong, working hard to achieve his goals. The person he most respects as a fighter is his cousin, and he often trains with him when he needs to test and push past his limits. He has an intense presence when fighting, intimidating opponents with its sheer energy. His battle expression is calculating and neutral, rarely changing. When not training, he is usually reading or daydreaming, off in his own world. While generally easy-going and friendly, he is a quiet person with few close friends, and was happy they were all in the same squad. Since his reassignment to a different squad, he misses his friends, and fears losing their closeness. So much so, in fact, that he is not really giving his new squad mates a chance.
Abilities/Skills: His element affiliation is Earth. He is a good all-around fighter, but prefers hand-to-hand combat and knife fights. He is skilled in combat strategy and in tying knots (bit of a hobby).
Weapons/Other: Yamauchi uses a dagger (pictured above) to channel his earth-bending powers. He also carries a shobo for finishing fights quickly. His best elemental move is striking the ground with his dagger to crack the ground open and to give his opponents shaky footing as well as change the topography of the battle to suit his needs.

History
He lost his parents to demons when he was first brought into this world, but luckily his uncle saved him from the demons and began to look after young Kaiser as his own son. Kaiser was then raised in his uncle's dojo, where learned to practice martial arts and began to blend his own fighting style that worked for him. His skills were tested as uncle fell ill, and eventually died months later, but his life didn't go as easy...a demon took control of his uncle's body. Kaiser was attacked...but hesitated to destroy his uncle's body...he swallowed his pride and doubt, and dueled the demon. He felt some sort of depression later on after...roughing up his uncle's body..and so he decided to enlist in this academy. He'd gladly willing to kill demons and risk his life to protect humanity.
Other
Kaiser has tattoos on his face which is a tear drop, neck and his back. He has a careless nature to him, and always acting out in anger when things piss him off. Nasty temper on that one. He can be caring at times, but is always saying in a rather rude manner. He's also very protective of his teammates and people he's come to care, even if it doesn't seem so (can be a gentle person when he wants to..just hardly does it)
Abilities/Skills: Kaiser has yet to figure out his element, but the other skills that has helped him this far is his above average human strength, able to lift anything around a 200 pound scale. Crumbling down walls is also a force of habit thanks to his strength, but that doesn't mean he can't be as stealthy as a cat, his acrobatic comes in handy when sneaking into enemy territory. He can play the violin, and cook...yes...don't judge him cause of his looks heh.
Weapons/Other: He has a pair of gauntlets that he uses while training and on the battlefield, not afraid getting close to the enemy. He doesn't know the element of his main weapon yet...and he also uses a two-handed large board sword.
