---Common Desc:: Most Poltergeists primarily prefer to stay out of any kind of physical form: they're happiest unseen and unknown. As such, at school they generally try to look small and average, and at their very best are translucent. The cannot become fully opaque.
Natural Ability: Telekinesis:: Poltergeists are telekinetic, and can lift objects without touching them. They cannot possess objects, but can lift multiple objects at once.
Personality:
Marcy.... is still a little lost. Poor child woke up in Halloween one day and just.. WAS. She didn't even know she had a name until someone asked for it. After that, with the help of people who often assist newly formed/arriving members of society, she was granted a little direction and a few answers to some of her most burning questions.
She likes to think she is sweet and likable, but she hasn't had an abundance of interactions with other people, so she is just hoping. So far, she finds people to be pleasant and she rather likes chatting with them. She likes happy people. It's a little too bad she feels so anxious sometimes. She'd like to invite EVERYONE over for tea, but oh, no. She's far to shy for that.
Oddly, she seems to have a rather intense love for things involving tea. Not just tea and it's many flavours, but the lovely little teapots and teacups that go oh so well with fancy tea. More experience ghosts seem to find nothing wrong with this, so she doesn't let it trouble her. Besides, why let something she likes trouble her? Why not enjoy the pretty little tea setting? Why not enjoy asking people "One sugar? Two?" while she has them over for tea? Marcy certainly thinks that's the best way to go about it. (She dreams of one day owning a house and decorating it with tea sets and hosting tea parties. Everyone will be invited.)
Even though she is nice and personable, she does have bouts of flaring anger. It's clearly not her fault (in her mind) her emotions just get away from her. She hardly realizes she is doing it. Such events come off as something of a tantrum~ she'll turn red and stamp her feet and yell. When stamping her feet isn't very satisfying, she'll use her telekinesis to make a mess. Even break things. Even her teacups.
If she does get angry with someone, she'll usually be very sorry afterwards. (Unless they totally deserved it. Then she's not sorry at all. >/ )
The things that set her off can be varied, it all just depends on how she's feeling. She's a teenager dealing with unlife, of course she has her ups and downs. It just, SHOWS a little strongly sometimes.
She also a tendency to focus, a trait which may really help with studies, but sadly such focus means she ignores other things. This, coupled with her general "I'm still new and everything is so neat and omg look at that teacup" can lead to her seeming a little 'airy' in the head. She should probably write things down.
Overally, Marcy is hoping to have a happy life. Maybe a little quiet, but fun. In the same way a tea party is nice and fun, but not outrageous. (Marcy is not going to go to any nightclubs, okay. She's the girl staying home to sip tea on the weekends. But she does think you should join her.)
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Because she had to go somewhere! Really, she couldn't just sit around doing nothing for forever. So, after someone who had been helping her out suggested Amityville Academy, Marcy decided to give it a shot. She heard good things about the school, and she wanted the best, of course. (Though if they turned her away she did have back up schools in mind.)
School was a must, though. Poor girl knows next to nothing about being a ghost! Where better to learn?
FEAR Ability: Gambler's Chance: Smashing Things. Basically, her Fear manifests itself into the shape of an object, usually a teacup or a plate, sometimes a pot or a pan, and is hurled toward the enemy, nearly exploding on impact. She controls it in a way similar to her telekinesis, which unfortunately means it can backfire and hurt her, too. If she's feeling especially emotional about the attack, it is often accompanied by the sound of breaking porcelain.
