Natural Ability: Sugar Fairies are known for their sweet, addicting fruit that grows from the branches on their bodies. In lore, this fruit on this "tree" was often sought for in long and arduous quests for kings and princes due not only to the fabled taste, but to the scarcity of the fruit as well as its ability to cure ailments. What is not told in lore is that the one guarding the tree is actually attached to the tree, but, eh. Details. What do they matter?
The longer the fruit remains on the branches, the sweeter the taste and smell of it becomes. Depending on the type of sugar fairy, they can grow one type of fruit that matches their mannerisms and personality, and possibly more depending on how they mature.
Picked too early, and Saya's fruit is acidic and toxic to anyone that eats it. Picked too late and the fruit will taste rotten yet unable to ignore due to the rancid and bitter taste and smell. The perfect medium has to be found for her fruit to be effective to anyone she wants to win over with favors - just the right balance will be sweet, tasteful, and possibly make you yearn for more.
For YEAR 1 Sayael's fruit will JUST be enticing. Further years will yield different results.
Personality: Saya is the definition of an insufferable teenager who almost always gets her way. She is friendly by nature and attempts to disarm people with her grin, but more often than not it's seen as an unnerving devious smile, or just plain creepy in general (which is a good thing, and something she is rather proud of to have accomplished).
Personal space isn't really an issue for her - she loves to touch people to get their attention, getting overly close to them or any objects they have, and then attempt to strike up a conversation with them by this means.
Having her parental figure twisted around her little fingers was very beneficial to her during her early years, and being in her father's social settings taught her to be manipulative and twist conversations to go the way you wanted them to. She's still learning how to be subtle about it, but sometimes gets frustrated when things don't go her way.
In her spare time, she likes to play tricks on people just for fun. Little tricks, just to see how they would act in certain situations. Of course, if someone was to play a trick on her, Saya wound undoubtedly get them back, even if they were getting her back. The ‘honey attracting flies’ tactic doesn't really suit her - she’s more of a mix between the ‘do unto others’ and ‘eye for an eye’ type.
Saya will do little things to entertain herself, such as hopping over cracks or doing a hip-shaking dance in the middle of the hallway. She looks for constant entertainment even if she has to provide it herself.
Friends, if Saya makes any, wouldn't really be considered... friends. They would be useful, and that's about it.
The only thing Saya really hates is for anyone to get near or even touch her branches without permission. Her branches hold sweet things on them, and she will completely flip out if anyone even tries any funny business with any area of her back. Touching Saya’s branches or sugary confections that grow there without her permission = bad. Very very bad.
Very rarely does Saya ever get sad, but if this ever occurs she will make sure she is alone and behind closed doors so that no one will see her in a weak state. Appearances are everything.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Her father has a hard time controlling her outbursts and willful wanderings (read: teenage mood swings and tantrums), so he sent her to Amityville hoping it would instill a sense of responsibility in her.
Her reasoning for her outbursts is because she's had to grow up in the shadow of her father's eye, glowering in the corner while his favorite son was doted upon with his affections. She wants to attend Amityville not only to prove that is the better sibling, but also to seek out Marosa and possibly use him for her own gains.
FEAR Ability: Saya has the ability to change the makeup of her fruit, ripening it or rotting it depending on how well she likes her opponent. Using her fruit, she offers one of her choice to her opponent (or just THROWS it at them), enabling them to have visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. Of course, they could see other things, too...
This ability works like The Chill, because to start with, she'll heal with her fruits... but she's not very happy about it. This can still cause visions, just perhaps, happy ones?
In Year 3, I would like this ability to be able to heal/affect status ailments.
