Felice, Nico, and Adalberaht's Dorm

When Felice left a cynical smile crossed Nico's face.
"Goodness , it seems my dorm is a veritable nest of cultural diversity"
He ignored Adalberaht's comment about his eating habits and merely continued to sip his coffee.
He watched Felice's and Adalberaht's conversation with barely concealed dislike. Adalberaht seemed much more tolerable then Felice but Nico had a feeling that he would irritate him in the future.
He let Adalberaht drag him into his room. He listened to Adalberaht ramble on about whatever was popping into his head. He normally hated people touching him but it didn't bother him so much when Adalberaht did it.
So where did you pick up that ridiculous accent anyway , where do you come from?

"Löjligt?? I am slightly offended. I am from Sweden, I've come
here because I want to learn the many things that are offered here.
I really enjoy the new things."

He smiled, undoing the braids from Nico's hair and hopping from his bed
quickly running out of the room and coming back with his bags.

"tusan också!"

He exclaimed the curse as he smashed his foot into the bed post,
and let out a drawn out whine. It really had hurt.

"One moment I have something to give you though! Since you are
one of my new roommates."

He got out, ignoring the pain in his foot, He will have to be more wary
of that post in the future. He then began to shuffle through one of his bags
before exclaiming in surprise and pulling out a book.

It was Cirkeln, A rather interesting book that had been increasingly popular
these days, he thought maybe Nico would like something like this?
Most people look, right?

Nico snorted with laughter when Adalberacht hurt himself but accepted the book none the less.
I haven't read it he said in the wistful tone he always adopted when talking about books.
Looks interesting though .
Nico hated receiving gifts , it made him feel like he was indebted to others. Debts he never paid. Nico began to wonder is Adalberacht had an ulterior motive behind this.
What do you want to get out of me with this? ]he asked with suspicion dripping off of his voice.

A slight smile painted itself across Adalberaht's face as he leaned in
closely to Nico, to the point where there was not even a foot of distance between the two.

"What I want is for my roommates not to be pilles, dumboms, barnslig, or
just all around ah, ah, the word is Dicks? To each other. You understand?"

He was still very close to Nico as he continued to explain his motives.

"I could not stand it if you two continued to..."

He furrowed his eyebrows, looking for the words.

"Smash huvuden ihop. You also feel this way?"

Felice didn't bother knocking as he re-entered the dormroom that he now had to share, but this time he had a pair of large leather luggage bags under his arms, as well as one smaller black bag that was clutched protectively under one of his arms. He had returned to the room without much entrance, but instead passed the two by to place his luggage in his room again.

Sighing, Felice rubbed at his strained shoulder muscles and overall weak strength in his arms. He supposed he needed something to eat besides air so he made his way to the kitchen only giving a slight nod to the other two in cold acknowlegnce.

"I guess an apple and some water will have to do for tonight. I can already feel the greasy breakfast food tomorrow," the Italian thought as he began to peel the apple almost obsessively to remove any red peel left on it.

Nico scowled.
I'm sorry school isn't working out for you then
He then got up , leaving the book he had received behind him and stalked into the kitchen to make himself another cup of coffee. He hadn't eaten anytjing Felice had given him so he was starving , but he was to proud to eat with his room mates so he continued to boil the water and add the cheap coffee to it , as was his custom.

Adalberaht threw his head back in frustration, why was meeting new people
so hard? He certainly was stuck with some Rude a** vitas, that's for sure.

"tikar! De lovade vänner, allt jag får är smärta?? i min röv!!"

Adalberaht probably sounded like a whiny child right now, but was
it honestly so hard to be nice? Being stoic will get you no where.

"lite kaffe dricker vit pojke?? och en bitchy italienska?? Tack jesus. jävla gåvor han gav mig idag."

Frustrated, and unable to find appropriate words for how he felt he
ranted in his native language. He had been promised that these people
would be warm and welcoming and damn did they lie.

Nico sat on one of the chairs in the kitchen and drank his coffee which was appropriately bitter for his mood. He gained a sort of dark satisfaction when he heard Adalberacht raving away in Swedish. What was these people's problems anyway? He didn't ask to room with them but they were treating his prescence like a personal insult. He gripped his coffee so hard that he spilled some of the searing liquid on his hand. Nico swore ansmd moved to put it under cild water.

Adalberaht grunted in frustration, stomping into the kitchen before pointing at Nico.

"YOU are misunderstanding. I WANT to be your friend. Why are you
foreigners so awfully rude?"

Upon noticing Nico's hand though, he felt bad for barging in and
ranting, so he went to inspect Nico's hand. Grabbing it and worriedly
inspecting it, thank goodness that it shouldn't be that bad.

He brought Nico's hand up to his mouth and pecked it softly.

"As I have said you misunderstand. I only mean to be your friend. You
must work to be friends, yes?"

Nico drew his scalded hand away from Adalberaht.
Who said I want friends? he drawled as he moved his hand into the cold water once more.
The world doesn't run on friends , I won't drop dead if I don't have some
The pain in his hand was beginning to subside but it still stung a little.
Why does is it such a big deal to you anyway?
Adalberaht seemed pretty pushy , which was not a trait Nico admired.

Adalberaht's face twisted into a scowl as he did not understand why Nico
was being so extremely irrational.

"What is the point of coming here if you have no desire to meet people.
You cannot honestly say you only came here for the school, and if
you do say that you're a shitty liar."

Adalberaht's mood was already pretty sour, his roommates were just so rude
and so unsociable.

"It is a big deal to me, because I don't want to have to dread coming
back to my dorm room after classes everyday to see you two urinfläckar."

He gestured toward Felice, by this point looking more than a little
bit disgruntled with the both of them.

"This guy is already bad enough, you're no help."

Perhaps swearing at people in some godforsaken language you can barely speak isn't the best way to make friends said Nico in a freezing voice.
I came here to go to school , if I make friends , then that's a bonus
Nico could not keep the bitterness out of his voice.
There are plenty of other places to go after class if you don't want to come back here

Adalberaht rolled his eyes at the others attempt to sound cold. It was
frustrating to have such a standoffish roommate.

"And perhaps being such a rude, cold, un-forthcoming roommate would not
drive me to do so? You're not exactly going to make friends if you can barely
get along with someone who is trying to be nice to you."

He scowled and shook his head, as if this person would understand though.
If he weren't reasonable enough to see that Adalberaht was trying to be nice
to him then there was no possible way he would be reasonable enough
to understand what he was trying to get across, obviously reasoning with
the other would do nothing.

Throwing his hands up, he scoffed and then mimicked the bitterness that
Nico was trying to put off.

"As if I were so pride-less to avoid my home just because some person
doesn't see me as a fit enough friend."

He spat the words out and sneered at Nico, honestly rather offended.

Finally finished peeling his apple, Felice decided that it was time to intervene in this little scuffle between his roommates, although unsure he could make the situation any better with his meddling (as it had been his fault in the beginning. "Hai fatto peggio solo fatto di essere qui, idiota."

The yelling only increased by the time he made it over to the two arguing roommates and thumbed the knife in his hand almost teasingly before interjecting, "Va bene, va bene, it seems as though we've all gotten onto a really bad start, si? I must apologize for my being..-er...cattivo umore toward you, Nico. I haven't had the easiest time transitioning to being here, as most foreigners are want to be. Actually, I should apologize to the both of you, considering all this fighting stemmed from my terrible attitude."

Now that he had gotten their attention, Felice continued, "I know that it will not make things any less tense between us, however we can make ourselves an affare, okay? To not be hostile towards one another to make this year a little more bearable!"

He eyeballed the male who had intervened on the conversation he had been
having with Nico, well, it was more of an argument and he locked his jaw in
frustration, running a hand through his hair and audibly sighing.

"I honestly do not think that I can live here in contempt as long as you
vackra idioter live here along with me.
One who refuses to even be friends with me, and another who can barely
stand me. Åh hur jag kommer att betona "

His voice raised more and more as he went on, running the sentence together.
He buried his hands in his face and groaned.

"några intryck i've gjort. Jag är kungen av idioter."
