[FIN] Itsy Bitsy Monster

Tambrey was an agent now, and thus she really needed to be sure she spent enough time with all of her pokémon; ensuring each were bonded with and skilled enough to be useful.
As much as she distrusted it, Gauntlet, her Rotom, was... bizarrely loyal. She was coming to accept that of the electric type, now... Neph, however, though with her far longer, was still a bit of a nightmare.
The spider-mon was, as far as she knew, in her ball, in a draw, while Tambrey worked in the little space that she had, tongue-in-cheek, labelled 'the labs', but it had finally been long enough for Neph to work out, once more, how to let herself out of the ball; a new system upgrade would almost certainly be requested on the ball as soon as Tam' found out, but for now, Neph would play as she liked. She was feeling extremely restless, and full of a need to do -something-.
The spider-mon made her way out of the draw and out of the make-shift labs, disappearing up onto the pipes, and moving out into the corridors.

The yellow Spinerak kept her eyes on the ground below, looking for anything, or rather, anyone, interesting while she crawled along...

Lu made himself busy with cleaning. He didn't want to get in trouble for not doing anything and there was always something to clean... especially considering he could reach high up places other people ignored. Today he'd decided to just sweep the floors along some of the hallways. When it seemed like no one was around, he hummed to himself quietly as he swept along and gathered up a little pile of gross floor things. The brunette thought about how if Zacharie was here, he'd probably think it necessary to sanitize the entire floor; Lu smiled at the thought fondly. Maybe he'd come through and mop as well, in ode to his dirt-despising friend.

... Now that wasn't a pile of dirt. No it definitely wasn't, it had too many legs and looked too much like a living thing. Lu stood up straighter, caught a little off guard by the pokemon, then looked around for its owner. "Um... hello? Where's your person? You aren't lost, are you..?" He asked quietly, crouching down to get a better look at the pokemon.  

[Gwennythe]

Well now! Wasn't this a big one?! Perfect!
Neph used a string shot as a thread for a vantage point, herself, bringing her to a level where she could better inspect 'the giant'.
Yes, yes, he was the perfect opponent! Absolutely huge!

The Spinerack chittered, swung herself back and forth... and then detached her thread, with the aim of landing herself on the giant's face with a little war cry.

Oh.

Okay.

Lu let out a yell in both shock and terror. He'd never had a pokemon attack his face out of nowhere! Lu stood up abruptly and dropped his broom, flailing his arms in a panic.

"Please stop please stop please stop!" He yelped, stumbling backwards and shaking his head in an attempt to loose the pokemon.  

[Gwennythe]

<> Neph chittered her warcry as, apparently, 'the giant' had one of his own... Perhaps some plea to some giant-deity, asking of it's strength...

Well, 'pleeztop' wouldn't be enough to give this giant the edge over her!
This was far too much fun!

The Spinerak chittered and climbed up, attempting to latch onto the giant's hair; that would surely be a better place to launch a proper attack from!

At least now Lu could see but he didn't appreciate having a Spinarak in his hair at all. At least most of his hair was pulled back into a ponytail, keeping out of his face while he tried to free himself.

"I don't know why you're doing this!" He yelped again, reaching up and trying to lift the pokemon off his head. "I promise I wasn't going to sweep you!"  

[Gwennythe]

She didn't even care what the giant was yelling, or yelling about... This was just fun, and exactly what she'd needed! But she'd yet to do a proper attack! Aha! Attack... That must be what the yelling was about... a sound-based attack, that she was apparently immune to! Wonderful!

Well then, she would counter with Night Shade!

Was there a reason for the sudden appearance of ghost pokemon? Was it just his luck that the pokemon he was scared of most all decided now was the best time possible to converge upon him? Lu back up against a wall and squeezed his eyes shut.

"Please tell them to leave..." Lu mumbled, covering his face with trembling hands.  

[Gwennythe]

Aha! Neph had clearly discovered a super-effective attack against giant types!
Well. Good. She had a finishing move, then, but it wouldn't do to take out the biggest opponent she'd had in a while so easily!

She leapt from the giant's head, landing on the floor in front of him and chittered, waiting for his move... None of his attacks were landing and perhaps she was just too fast for him? She would be kind and allow -one- to get through! Plus she could be impressive by withstanding it with barely any damage taken, she was confident!

Now that his head was freed from the tiny monster, Lu peeked open his eyes... the ghost pokemon were...gone? He blinked for a second, realizing it must have been some sort of illusion... and the Spinarak was staring at him, standing on the ground in front of him.

... No, no way in hell. He wasn't dealing with this. Lu reached out and grabbed his fallen broom, swiping it out in an attempt to send the pokemon sliding down the hallway.  

[Gwennythe]

Aha! That was more like it! But... kind of disappointing.
Maybe it was one of those multiple component attacks? It was a bit slow and simple though... She wasn't keen on it.
She wanted a better attack than this.
Still, Lu would find that he -kind- of achieved his desired attack, as the spider pokémon did indeed seem to be sent off down the corridor. Of course... Neph would be back just seconds later... Sticky threads were quite useful for moving around a corridor, and slingshotting oneself where ever one wished to go...

She'd be present on the ceiling just a moment later, announcing herself with an almost taunting chittering noise.

Why did this pokemon want to taunt him so badly? What was the reason? Had he angered it? Maybe he really should stop trying to talk to pokemon, they all obviously thought he ws saying something insulting and giving them reason to attack!

Lu got up and started scurrying away down the hallway, hoping him running off would deter the Spinarak.

Oh no! Agility! Or Quick Attack? No, he was just running...
Fleeing?! No! No way!
That was definitely not allowed! That was completely dishonourable to her, running out on noble conflict!

Neph squeaked angrily and scuttled along the ceiling after the giant, running as fast as her little legs would take her.

He must have done something awfully bad for this kind of karma. "I don't want this!" Lu yelped, clutching to his broom for dear life. What was he supposed to do? ...Get out his own pokemon, probably. Wow. He forgot about that. But Lu didn't want to hurt the Spinarak, or cause damage to the building..!

Lu turned around and faced the angrily chittering pokemon, holding his broom up in defense. "Please stop!" He said firmly, frowning at the pokemon.

Ooh! Firmness! Okay, was this supposed to be an 'Astonish' attack or something? It was really just... not effective at all. Actually, it was kind of annoying. All these attacks were sound-based.
Well, Neph could probably fix that temporarily! A string shot at the noisy face-hole! Hopefully, if she could manage that, the giant would stop using these useless noisy attacks...
