[PRP] Good Morning

The morning after Ion's arrival at the hotel in Sandalwood - and indeed, his arrival in Kodo itself - he'd been quite relieved to find the elevator functional again when he departed his room with the intention of going down to the bottom floor. Once he arrived in a much better condition than he'd originally anticipated before he'd known of the fixed elevator, the trainer moved forward through the lobby and to the small dining area, Jozette following him closely as they maneuvered around the various tables and chairs scattered about, both of them paying great mind to those already sitting enjoying their breakfasts.

Once Ion had acquired a plate of food for himself and assisted Jozette in putting together one for herself, the pair moved back to locate a vacant table for themselves. Except... all of the tables appeared to be full. Oh, dear...

"Bwurrr," Jozette grumbled, her large ears twitching back a little in annoyance.

Rosie had been up before the other two had, it was really early after all, and remaining as quiet as she could she got ready, left a note to tell the other two that she would be out running the errands she spoke about before she headed out of the room and down to the main lobby.

The blond sat in mostly silence, eying her food more then she was actually eating it. though whenever Kiss Kiss made an attempt to get her to put some food in her mouth, the blond would smile at the pokemon, and eat the offered food.

"Whats this?"

The voice of the Jirachi would ask from time to time, sitting with the small group of the trainer, a Vaporeon, Raichu and a Lopunny having breakfast.

Vahy'n would reply

The Jirachi blinked at the small round fruit before she took a bite out of it.
"Oh! I like it" She announced

Yes, every table did look to be quite full... Oh dear, they would need to wait until a table freed up before they could eat. They could just go back up to the hotel room and eat, though...

Jozette had no such thoughts; either they had to wait for a table, because there was no way Ion would ask if anyone was willing to share (because indeed several tables only had a single person at them when they could easily fit four or so, in her opinion) or she had to push them into someone else's territory. Not that Ion would approve of the latter, of course...

Before the trainer could comment or suggest anything, his Braixen gestured to him very emphatically, and very specifically, to convey her desire: Stay put - don't move. Finding it prudent to obey his pokemon's wishes, Ion smiled at her and nodded his agreement, and remained standing there with his plate. Jozette nodded her approval before turning with her own plate clasped very carefully in her paws, and marched around the various tables. Better her than her trainer, she figured, even though he was usually fine walking for extended periods... Hm. Most of the tables seemed to have stuffy old people sitting at them, that was no good.. Ah, that one looked interesting. Her ears perked a bit as she headed towards the nearby table that had piqued her interest. Now all she had to do was hope the blonde girl and her variety of pokemon were receptive. "Braaiii," the fire-type trilled cheerily in greeting, one ear perked forward while the other remained tilted slightly backwards, to better catch any sounds that indicated her trainer needed her. Not that she expected he would need her for much else at the moment aside from procuring for them a spot at a table.

The found from a pokemon that Rosie was not deeply familiar with drew the blond's eyes up, blinking a few times when she was met with a pokemon she had not seen in person before.
Her other pokemon looked up at well, Kiss and Vahy'n in more interests then Pop, who eyes the newcomer with a bored look.

"Oh... hello." Rosie greeted, sitting up a little more.

Oh, good, she was friendly! Jozette replied to the girl's hello with a bright smile, then... She... Actually she hadn't really planned much further than this, if she was honest with herself. Mostly she sort of expected to walk up and say hello and then sit down, but she didn't really feel like just sitting down would be the best course of action. "Bwrr.." She glanced down at her plate in her paws, then back up to Rosie and her pokemon uncertainly. The Braixen wasn't entirely sure what to do next, and so continued to stand there awkwardly as she hastily tried to think of something, but unfortunately couldn't really think of anything. Her ears flattened a little as she briefly debated just turning around and leaving out of sheer embarrassment, but no, she had to do this - but do what? Shoot. Maybe they should just wait for a table...

Rosie arched her eyebrows at the fire type, tilting her head lightly as it seemed to be implying something.
Though a glance to the plates in its paws, and a glance around the room showing that it was a busy morning gave Rosie enough clues to go on. as a glance to Northern drew a shrug from the legendary "She wants something." Was all the Legendary offered.
"Oh- did you want to sit down?"

Jozette's gaze snapped to the Jirachi when the small pokemon interjected her response inside her mind, briefly bewildered as to why or how, but the fire-type quickly recovered when the girl spoke up again. Yes, oh yes! Yes perfect, that was exactly what she wanted. The Braixen beamed and nodded her head quickly. she affirmed, knowing that the girl wouldn't understand her but perhaps she'd get her point across regardless. her words were punctuated by a pause and a glance back to where she'd left Ion, both to convey where said friend was and also to make sure he'd stayed put like she asked (he had), before looking back to the group, She finished quickly, nearly stumbling over her words at the end. It seemed the floating pokemon's comment as well as the girl's question had opened the floodgates.

Vahy'n replied, lifting her head higher so that she could peer around for who the pokemon's trainer might be.

With a great deal more enthusiasm then her water type team mate, Kiss Kiss hopped up straighter on her seat, both paws pressed on the table as she leaned forward, large dark blue yes smiling down at the new fire type


Rosie smiled as her Pokemon seemed to take over for her. looking around instead in the direction that the Braixen had looked.

She replied gratefully with a broad, relieved smile, both ears perking up now that they were being so welcoming. That was easy! ...well, it was after she'd nearly embarrassed herself to death. Was that even possible? Probably not, but she'd felt like it was, with how embarrassed she'd felt. She set her plate down on the table carefully, turned, gestured emphatically towards her trainer, then promptly hopped up into a chair. she said once she was sitting properly and not leaning on her tail or anything, looking towards the other pokemon curiously.

Ion, who had been dutifully staying where his Braixen had told him to, moved forward with a smile once she waved him over. While he was grateful she'd found a spot at a table, he felt bad that she had to disturb a girl and her pokemon in order to do so. "Good morning," he said softly once he'd arrived at the table after the short walk, though he didn't sit just yet. Jozette had clearly made herself right at home, but it didn't feel right to him to just immediately sit down at someone else's table. "I'm sorry to have interrupted your breakfast."

Vahy'n reassured.


Kiss lifted a paw in greeting, while Pop simply glanced over to show that she at least acknowledged the fire types presence.
Northern on the other hand seemed rather distracted as she stared at the approaching human, and looked between him and the other pokemon, though... not exactly looking at them.

Rosie smiled in greeting as the trainer joined then, shaking her head as he approached and apologized "Oh no, you weren't interrupting." she said.
She took a moment to look over the boy, tilting her head lightly.
"That is Grant Ile fashion, isn't it."

Jozette replied brightly, quite happy that this was going so well, and endeavored to commit their names to memory. Taking their stay in the hotel to mean they didn't live in this city, she instead asked, Yes, that was the name of the city, right? Right, yes. It was a city and not a town, wasn't it...?

"That's very kind of you to say," he noted with a smile. Despite the fact she'd said they weren't, he still felt as though they had interrupted her breakfast with her pokemon, though he didn't have a chance to counter her dismissal when she posed him a question of her own. He was vaguely surprised that she recognized his style of clothing, and his brows raised a little as he glanced down briefly. "It is, yes," he affirmed with a smile back up at the young woman. Ah, right - Grande Ile had an embassy in Kodo, so it made sense that some people would know more about the island.

Quite suddenly he realized that he was still standing, and even though his Braixen had already made herself at home there, he still felt compelled to formally request, "May we join you for breakfast?"

Kiss Kiss started, though her ears drooped a little

Northern frowned at the explanation that Kiss gave, floating a little closer to her plate as she scooped up another grape.
"No one wants to talk about it." She said, with a displeased frown, she could feel the anxiousness, and sadness in their.

The words, though directed to the pokemon drew Rosie's gaze to the Legendary, reaching a hand up to put it on the pokemon's back gently in a motion of reassurance before she looked back over to Ion.

"Oh- no of course, please do, My name is Rosie." Rosie said with a gesture to the seat.
"Its been nice seeing more and more visitors from Grand Ile, are you here on vacation?"

Vahy'n said, with a hint of amusement.

Jozette frowned a bit as she held a biscuit between her paws and took a bite out of it, gathering from both pokemon's words that their intentions to train and sight-see had been interrupted by something that, as Northern had said (she thought that one was Northern, anyway), no one wanted to talk about. She had no intention of asking questions about something no one wanted to talk about, so instead...

Momentarily startled by the voice in his head, the trainer briefly didn't know what had happened or where that had come from or anything, but the girl's words pulled him from his confusion. "Oh - thank you very much," he said gratefully before setting his plate down and sitting down in one of the vacant chairs. "It's very kind of you to let us sit with you, Rosie, and it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Ion," he said with a smile, folding his hands in his lap. "I'm actually here on business," the trainer admitted with a slight tilt of his head, though his smile remained as he continued, "but I'm excited to be able to see Kodo while I'm here, too."

Jozette nodded along with Ion's words, though she gave Vahy'n a cheeky smile. means is, it's pretty much half a vacation - so yes, we're on vacation,> she said with a firm nod. Or at least, she liked to think so.

Kiss said with a proud air putting a paw on each of her cheeks and fluffing out her fur, seeming to be ticked about it

Vany'nn added, lapping up some of the water that rested in a shallow cup.


"Ion" Rosie repeated, pacing her fork down and folding her hands in her lap as she seemed much more interested in speaking then she was eating.
"That's a beautiful name." she said, continuing with more enthusiasm "I always say, the most beautiful things come from Grand Ile. Its nice that you get to visit my home island though, I hope you're having a good time though, so far?"
She always worried about visitors having to deal with Team Rocket sometimes, as it was a very real danger... as she is constantly reminded.
At the mention of business, Rosie tilted her head, He didn't look like he was that old, no more then just a teenager, what kind of business would he have?
"What kind of business are you in?"

The Braixen's orange eyes widened. Color her impressed; professionals! Though to be honest, she didn't exactly know what that meant. Maybe they worked in one of the gyms in a gym circuit here, was that how they were with the Pokemon League?

she said proudly as she turned to address Vahy'n's question, It wasn't the sort of lifestyle she expected to live, back when she was still a young idealistic Fennekin in Kalos, but it was the lifestyle she was in now and she was enjoying it so far, and she didn't think she'd give it up for anything else.

Jozette asked, turning back to Kiss. The fire-type trailed off with a thoughtful frown as she tried to think of the name. No, that didn't sound right... What was it again?

Ion, who was not at all used to receiving compliments on his name, smiled happily at his company. "Thank you," he said sincerely, quite tickled by her words and left him briefly at a loss for what to say in response. Maybe he could come back to it later. For now, though, he nodded at her question, "I'm here to research Team Rocket--"

Jozette burst out, nearly bouncing in her seat as she suddenly pointed to Ion. How could she have forgotten? Ion had reminded her only yesterday!

The trainer smiled at his Braixen and her outburst before looking once more to Rosie as he continued, "To research Team Rocket and judge if they might pose a threat to Grande Ile."
