*~::Nyx's Lounge::~* [The Third Holy Grail War] A chilly, casual underground bar owned and operated by a devil called Nyx and frequented by several of the shadier devils that inhabit the city of Sapporo. They delight in watching others fight, and find a delightful spectacle of the Holy Grail War. Though the lounge is smoky and relatively small compared to the open spaces of the war, it might make an interesting battleground for a one-on-one duel between masters or servants.

Bour Ying
Ah, the smell of alcohol and the scum of society... demons as a whole were pretty crazy as companions, but more importantly, many of them actually tended to agree with his ideals. The fact that he could transform into a demon on his own, and tussle with some fairly tough ones, actually helped out for getting along in a crowd like this. For now, though, he was just here to see what profits could be made, and what entertainments could be enjoyed.

Lewis Keys, the "King in the Norse" "I am an honest devil in my dealings with friends.""My, my...what have we here?" a handsome voice intoned smoothly from down the bar, a devilish smirk curling the man's lips as he glanced sidelong at the wretched Tyrant King and took a smooth sip from the glass the hostess, Nyx, had provided, "Who would have thought I'd come all the way out here for a drink and wind up seated across from such a...familiar face? Mr. Rogue Lieutenant..." His chuckle was knowing and amused, as though the answer to that question was entirely rhetorical and he was merely making sport of the man, having known that he might find the like of him in this place all along. Though if he had an agenda he was slow-playing his hand, relaxing at the bar with another drink and whispering something seductive in the ear of the bartender...the old mother chuckling and waving him off with a mild dismissal before going back to his work. It was clear from the rapport that the smooth-talking devil was a regular in this place, which raised some questions given the frequency of his visits to the town from which the both of them had recently absconded in the more southern regions of the country. Bour, of course, had left Inaba for his own safety and in search of this Grail amongst other things. Why, then, was the so-called 'Gigolo' here in Sapporo in the middle of this tournament? His hands were clear of Command Seals. And his apprentice...was nowhere to be seen just yet. And why reveal himself to Bour at all, someone with whom he had no previous conversations (so far as the latter knew) before this one?
...Maybe he was just making small talk in the bar, enjoying what company there was as he took a respite from the ongoing power struggle between he and the Lord of Darkness that had been initiated in the Second Persona War. Or maybe...no, coincidence with this man was all but unlikely. It was simply a matter of getting it out of him if he wanted something in particular. Though he was always one to do everything in his own time.
"I don't know if you remember me, but I've seen you before...back in that little hamlet of Inaba. They called me 'Gigolo' there. Lewis Keys as well," he shifted in his seat for a moment, taking in the ugly man with a half-smirk that perhaps hinted he was finally starting to get somewhere in his teasing discussion, "But you may call me...well...how about "The Demon King in the North"? Hm hm...or if that's too much of a mouthful, simply Loki will do...Bour Ying, formerly of the Embryon." He laughed a little to himself, as if mocking the playfully melodramatic way that he had introduced himself, and as he scooped up another round of drink from the bar's counter-top he sipped easily from it and let the alcohol swish about in his glass between his fingers. No, it didn't seem likely to be a coincidence that Bour found himself here in this city at the same time as this man. But what was the purpose of it all? The look in this man's eyes seemed to say he had the answer...but would the Tyrant King listen?
"Let me...get to the point. Things are about to get very unpleasant for you in this city, you know..." the devil smirked, watching to see if there was any trace of acknowledgment from the former Lieutenant, "The way I see it, you have only two options standing before you: you can ignore me and face the coming storm, or...you can forsake this little competition you've gotten yourself into and hear what I have to offer...choose wisely, my dear Tyrant King. I won't extend my hand to you a second time..."Quote: Will Bour Ying withdraw from the war and listen to Lewis Keys' offer?
-Yes -No -GO SCREW YERSELF, FANCY MAN!

Bour raised an eyebrow. "Ah've seen lingerie shops less fancy than yew." he drawled, not having the highest degree of respect for playboys. Of course, that may have had something to do with the COMPLETELY different methods they used when chasing women... and one woman in particular, in his case. "However, yew might want to get some better sources of information... since ah never entered that wee little charade. Just a buncha kids riskin' their lives over somethin' stupid, an' likely as not it'll all go horribly wrong." Was he rather cynical about these things? Yes, yes he was... On the other hand, "Ah'm always willin' to listen to a good offer, though, particularly since ah figure a fellow like yerself can make it worth mah while."

Lewis Keys, the "King in the Norse" "I am an honest devil in my dealings with friends."Was it at all bothersome to sit and listen to a man as disgusting as this one talk about his pursuits, in that ludicrous drawl of his, knowing just what kind of a monster this Bour Ying truly could be? Did it trouble Lewis Keys that this man was basically the equivalent of human filth crossed with just enough demonic good luck that he had survived far beyond what should have been his proper expiration date? One could only guess, really, though the impulse to erase such a man from the world and rid of it such a lack of refinement must have been tempting. Instead, however, they were both here, and the smooth-talker was apparently pleased at the man's willingness to listen to his offer, taking a small drink before setting the alcohol aside in exchange for a chance to...talk. "And a good offer it is, given your situation. I have it on good authority that several...enemies of yours are in the city right now. And there's nothing they'd like more than to skin you alive for what you've done," the handsome devil smirked and chuckled in no small measure of amusement, taking some delight in knowing far more about what was going on than this man, or almost any other, "Fortunately, I have no such inclination to see you dead just yet. That's why, I propose an exchange..."
Within the self-styled King's hand emerged an artifact, one that looked by old and powerful. The golden glimmer gave it the look of something quite valuable, but even the least attuned to such things could likely sense or feel the power emanating from within. He held it high for the Lieutenant of days past to see, letting him wonder what it might be a little longer before he spoke up again.
"Power...the type that a creature of your ilk could only dream of. In exchange, I would employ a man of your...unscrupulous talents," if he was being intentionally vague it was likely with purpose. Was the task something difficult? Something deadly? Or was he still merely gauging interest? ...Or just about to continue and explain? "What I seek is an army to contend with a certain...enemy of mine. I'll give you the strength; all you have to do is kill whom I tell you. And all the spoils of your conquests will be yours to do with as you will. I have no interest in what you do with them...my prize is something bigger. ...This is a fair proposal, don't you think? Power, riches, women...all you have to do is use that power for my benefit. What do you think?"

The wretched piece of human scum laughed. He, more than anyone else, understood his place. He wasn't a leader, a lord, or a ruler. Pretty much all his life, he'd never been the boss or truly in charge... but that had always suited him just fine. In the end, he generally got what he wanted, and someone else had to do all of the harder work of bossing people around. So many people who aimed for the top didn't realize what a nice place it could be... and so many fine, upstanding fellows had need for the services people like him offered. It was enough to let him keep the faith that humanity (and many demons) really were just self-serving egotistical fools. Hence the laughter - and this man certainly knew how to appeal to him. "Jes' remember that ah've got mah own way of doin' things. Shouldn' be much trouble, though, if ye're askin' at all. Long as ye know what t' expect, yeh've got yerself a deal." He didn't offer a handshake. For some reason, most people didn't appreciate it when he did that, so he'd long since given up on the notion. A fine drink was all a man really needed. Well, that and a warm lady for their bed...

The other man didn't seem like he had anything else to say, so Bour simply nodded slightly. "Ah'll be in touch, then." he drawled, finishing off his drink and leaving a bit of money on the bar before heading out and whistling happily. New jobs were always fun, and every single one brought him that much closer to claiming his heart's desire...
