A rather permanently dock ship for the time being...Ander isn't allowed to move it until he is of age...His father allows him to use it as a home at the moment for him and his few crew mates...

Ander walked out on the deck of his ship and took a deep breath in...the breeze always felt nicer on the ocean and the air was always salty...just the way he loved it...He took a look around...deciding on what to focus on today...

Red was wandering along the docks, grudgingly running errands for her father, when she spotted a kid around her age on one of the ships. This didn't strike her as odd, since she figured people were bound to be born on these ships, and runaways were often heard of escaping to ship crews and stuff.

If dad didn't need me so much, I'd just join one of these myself, wouldn't I..?

Which was quite true. She had actually thought of running away various times before the fire that crippled her father; her family dynamic was pretty messed up, and the times she had made concrete plans for leaving were uncountable. Unfortunately, she needed to be there now, there was no one else left and she couldn't just leave her dad there, helpless... So while she thought this she was just staring at the ship thoughtfully.

Ander watched the tall girl and gulped...

So unfair...

He muttered under his breath...He wondered what she was up to...since the rest of his crew was gone drinking sleeping or at a cat house he decided to make a new friend that morning...

HEY YOU!

He waved to the girl...He then hopped on the edge of his boat and sat on it...

Is there anything I can accompany someone as lovely as you with?

he asked with a wink and a smile...

Red started paying attention as the guy on the ship suddenly waved to her. She slowly waved back and approached the boat, then arched her eyebrows at the boy's comment.

"Maybe learn your place?"

She retorted, then chuckled. He seemed harmless enough, and his attempts at being smooth amused her.

"Naw, I'm just takin' some o' this stuff back to me da's. What're you doin' on the boat, though? You a runaway or somethin'?"

As she kept speaking, the guy would notice that she had a strong foreign accent, not quite recognizable.

He looked at her oddly...

You talk funny...

He scooted his butt of the boat and hopped to the dock...

No this is my boat...but I'm too young to be sailing everywhere according to my father so I'm keeping it docked til further noticed...My crew and I live here for the most part...

He sighed..

but my crew isn't very big or around so I need...more people to talk to...I wondered if you would be one of those people...

she gently took her hand and kissed it before releasing it...

Red's eyebrows jumped up even higher as the boy commented on her accent and went on to explain his situation.

"I think YOU talk funny.. You an' everyone else 'round these parts!"

She commented, the nodded as he explained about the boat. She smiled sympathetically then shrugged, it could be good to talk to someone other than her dad for a while. But then the hand kissing happened, and she snatched her hand away, laughing lightly.

"That sounds great an' all, but the gallantry's gettin' a bit much, wouldn't you think? I don't even know your name yet."

Ander laughed and shrugged...

Sorry a gentleman such as I usually doesn't wait to kiss a lady's hand...I'm Ander Lockheart...I'm going to be famous one day so feel free to tell others you've met me...What is your name dear? If kissing is only awkward from us not know each other's names...I feel that's an easy fix...

Ander smiled at her like he was on fire and dashingly charming...

Red smirked at his gentleman comment, then nodded at his introduction. His absolute confidence that he was totally great made her smirk even more.

"You can call me Red, and I'm pretty sure a 'gentleman' needs to be a bit...taller before he can be considered a gentleman rather than a boy, doesn't he?"

She commented, eyebrows raised.

He gruffed and glared at her then shook his head and took in a deep breath and let it out again...

Look my height is not something I can help...It's not fair for you to tease me about such things...I mean it just makes you seem a bit off putting and rude...You for a girl happen to be freakishly tall too...

He was shocked he said that she was 'freakish' this was not the word of a gentleman...

I'm sorry that didn't come out right...

she recomposed himself and then smiled at her again...

I'm not worried about height...you shouldn't be...

Red scowled right back at Ander as he accused her of being rude for her comment.

"I'm no the one claimin' to be a lady here, am I? I'll say whatever I bloody want to!"

She retorted, and could feel her hands getting warmer as she got ready for a fight... A fight that never came, because Ander immediately apologized, to her surprise.

"Well what's it to YOU whether I care 'bout height? S'pretty obvious a RUDE girl like me isn't much worth charmin' then, and a monster too!"

This was the first time she was revealing her monster background to him, and she seemed so very casual about it too, smirking at the redhead as she did so.

He didn't know what she meant by monster...He assumed they were just lore and all killed out a long time ago...He didn't think much about the comment however because she describe herself in a negative light so he shrugged it off...

I didn't say you were a lady...and Why not Charm you...I am a single male...and one of the things surrounding that is making all the ladies feel nice until I am betrothed to another...and I don't see that happening any time soon...so I shall charm on...

He then thought about her goals for the day...

Ander looked at Levi slightly confused as to why he was there...

I'm trying to woo a lady but she seems busy with her own things...so I suppose that it just wasn't in the cards today...

He bowed to Red and then smiled...

I'd kiss your hand again but I don't want you to think I'm too stimulated by that...

he waved to her good bye then walked over to Levi...

Since you are here we should go get a few things...I hate to be the one to suggest that...but we really are running low...
