This is the office of the current Amekage: Armundo. The interior is interchangeable if need be to match the tastes of the current kage. This office is where shinobi receive direct orders and report suspicious findings.

At the top of the raining tower, all was quiet and still. You could hear the raindrops as they fell, slamming into the ground, constantly moving until they were forced to stop, and then rolling on as it attempted to reach rest. They were all among similarly minded raindrops, until they all melded together, a single mind seeking nothing but to keep moving. And then suddenly they all reached that rest they were looking for. They stopped moving. A single raindrop became a river, and then they made it to the bodies of water that surround Amegakure. Once their motion stopped, they had no energy. They were dead. But they lived a life that lead them, through motion alone, on a magical journey. This principle was the one that Kya had brought down from the northwestern part of the worlds, from the cold, coastal areas far away from sorana. She came with her clan, the Vladians, teaching the way of movement, a philosophy developed by her, and one she wanted to teach.

The sound of bats screeching through the air foretold the coming of one who, in this region of the world, ended the clan wars. They all learned quickly that when she came, it was move or be broken, join the river or be washed away and join it anyway. They needed to learn, and she came to teach. They needed lessons, but they did not need to live to learn. The screeching became louder suddenly as in through a window, a swarm of bats entered, coming together in a black mass, that slowly, deliberately took shape. A woman, naked, covered in beautiful draconic tattoos and northern scars looked around her office. She opened a desk near the window, forseeing this, and realized that blood was all over her hands and face still. With a sigh she let the desk stay open as she directed the blood to flow free and up into the air above her. A stream like an iv drip connected to her nostrils, pulling the blood into it to clean it away. She dressed herself quickly, black lace underwear and her robes, hanging from her shoulder. Se smiled, content to have taught a lesson to the foolish clan outside the walls of her freshly built city, demanding entrance. They only had to move, only had to stay in motion. Instead, they all died, and filled her with her favorite form of food. A red hue receeded from her eyes as she pulled back her chair with one hand and sat in the large thing, turning to watch the rain and ponder her actions in dealing with the somewhat hostile forces. To see the falling raindrops, and try to grasp the bigger picture. In truth, this was somewhat difficult for her, as a single raindrop cannot comprehend the river, or the pond. Still to move foreward, it becomes neede to backtrack sometimes. Others, to break down the wall, or people, blocking progress. Her beautiful features, oddly southern to be from the north, furrowed as she reached behind her in her drawer for a scroll and a pen, writing that thought down for future publishing along with her other teachings and "proverbs." She was in quite the good mood today indeed.

I had that dream again last night, this time it was a bit different. The raging fire flooded the house as screams flooded the already burning wood hallway before the rain came and washed it all away. A masked man had greeted him before everything would turn black, and the chanting of words of monks who skin were as dark as charcoal with glowing dots on their foreheads would surround him before he would feel himself being blown to dust by and extraordinary light which would immediately wake him up. Grey had found himself sitting on top of a roof with a hoodie on and him leaned against a brick stairway entrance, guess he had sleep walked again. The rain crashed against his hood leaving a sound of drips hitting against a solid state and could slowly feel the water soak his jacket even worse than it already is and make his hair even wetter than it it already is. He lift his attention to the grey clouds where the rain drops would hit his face with a ticklish sensation on each spots of his face before he snapped into full conscious and remembered his plans for today. He leaped from the roof heading towards the Amekages office.

The entrance door would slide open and in-came a wet Grey who removed his jacket and slicked his hair back before putting it into a pony tail before passing by the guards who nodded their heads at him as a sign of hello, he nodded back, he still felt a bit wet but didn't mind it, after all he showed no feeling since his awakening. Once he reached the Amekages office he would knock 3 times before entering. "Hello, Miss kya?" He called out questioning if she was there and if she would hopefully answer. He would see the flowing lock of carefully groomed black hair seated in a chair in front of the window writting down something on what appears to be a clean and white scroll. Grey's eyes widened a bit as he saw the color white and he faded out into his mind where he was surround by all white, something obviously his imagination which could be filled with what ever he wished or wanted it to be, any type of inspiration could set light to the land of endless possibilities, before anything else transpired Grey snapped himself out of it, rubbing his head, he felt a bit of a headache as he was going through such weird emotions today, probably because its the anniversary of the escort mission that took place 2 years ago. His mind felt a bit foggy today because of it, but he tried not to let it fog up his senses as he rubbed his eyes that if anyone would look into could tell they held emptiness pulled together by fake emotions used to get a person through a struggling alone life. "I came to see how you were doing. Is everything alright?" He questioned in his mid-pitched voice type where it wasn't deep nor high. He looked around the office where he had been many times before, it seemed she had changed it up a bit, maybe done something new with the design, still it wasn't too different than what it would normally look like.

                                                                    Theme -

Rain. It never seemed to end. It was fitting for a village that took its namesake from the very weather that dominated the skyline. Masako sighed, pulling her rain jacket a little tighter around herself. The rain gave no sigh it was going to let up today, and it had already been raining for almost 2 days straight. Masako looked around as she wandered down the streets, dodging the larger puddles as she went. The whole village seemed oblivious to the rain as they went on with their daily lives, shopping and working like it was sunny outside. She supposed it was only natural, it rained more here than anything else. Masako dodged pass a group of elderly women who were arguing with a fruit vendor and cut down a back street, making her way towards the Amekage's office. Skipping from street to street, she eventually arrived but not before being soaked. She pushed the door open, finding that another dripping coat was already hanging in the hallway. Masako removed her own coat, hanging it on an adjacent hook before wringing out her shirt and making a vain attempt to fix her hair.

Once she had made a half-assed attempt to dry herself, she made her way through the winding corridors of the building that housed most of the village leadership. Following a trail of wet footprints, she finally arrived at the Kage's office. She didn't need to follow the footprints to know where it was, it just gave her something to do as she tried to step in the exact same spot on the floor. As she arrived at the door, she looked up to see it was already open. A normal person would have seen a man and a woman in the room, but Masako saw something different. She saw a flicker of chakra and across the desk, a wildfire. The power difference in the room was clear. Their power was enough to make anyone nervous, but it also intrigued Masako that there could be such massive gaps in the chakra possessed by shinobi. Masako looked down at her own hand, a faint glow emanating from it that was dwarfed by both sources in the office. She gulped and took a step forward, knocking on the door before bowing and introducing herself. "Pardon the interruption Lady Amekage. Gennin Masako Chiru reporting for duty. I was told you wanted to speak with me."

The three raps on her door seemed to rouse her from her somewhat loose meditation. When they hit the door, in the depths of her mind she was sitting, legs crossed similar to how her body was positioned in the chair. In that place where only she goes when her body comes to rest but her mind and spirit continue to move, wade through and endlessly push through a river of stray thoughts and distractions, noises that she could pick apart and mull over as long as she wanted. Things that would halt her motion and bring her... inner her to a stop. Of course, she ignored them for the most part. No her eyes were always focused on what was ahead of her in the real world, and in her mind she was always moving towards something. Her purple eyes glowed with resolve as she looked ahead, staring at something huge before her, something... powerful in her line of sight. It was the visage of her god, a massive thing with a snakes golden head and a swath of never ending tentacles behind it. As she wrote in the real world, in her mind she was allowing her brain to run wild with the sight of him.

However, she could not be stationary for long. So she roused from the inner conversation with no one she had been carrying on and stood up. I see you've both been getting acquainted with the rain. she said turning the chair with a deft spin and facing them both with a smile on her face. Amegakure, so I named it. The rain never stops here. It falls, and falls, and falls. The cycle is always moving, you know, she said with a soft, almost tell tale voice. The water falls and slams into the ground, sometimes softly, other times with a thunderous snap. When it hits the floor, it collects, forming a puddle, a river if it has to flow. Some say the water flows downhill because it seeks rest, to reach sea level and stop. Kya smirked, seeing a drop of water fall from the hair of Grey, scrutinizing it in a way that not even Masako with her intense sensory abilities could understand. It changed shape as physics worked it's magic on the drop. All the way until it was out of her view, she watched it. But this is not the case. Nothing stops moving, nothing that lives, nothing that can transfer energy. When it reaches a pond, a lake, the ocean, that drop of rain simply waits. Soon it will evaporate, becoming a bit of moisture light enough to float into the air. And what happens then? A cloud, ready to drop it back down to start again. This is life, you see. All life is motion. There is a lesson you both can learn from rain. She had known of Masako and Grey both back in the clan wars before she established this place. Now, she stood up and walked around the table, nonthreateningly but deliberately. I'm glad you both came. There is much to do, this place is young but it is a good place and I am glad to have able bodied young minds like myself here, prepared to take the journey I have set us upon. She touched their foreheads, establishing a sort of bond between herself and them each. For a split second a mark, the rinnegan mark, would appear on their heads, and then it would disappear, leaving no trace.

I have given you a certain kind of mark. It will allow me to show you something, but now is not that time. Now is time for a question, for the reason I called you both here. Face forward, and do not move until I tell you to. she said pointing out the window, as the rain started to fall heavier. Given what I just told you about the rain, about motion being important. Tell me, Grey, since you like to sit on roofs and leap around in the rain where you can slip and fall and break your neck on the floor, why would I, nomadic by nature, settle us all down here? Why would I root myself to a home I cannot pickup and move? Perhaps Masako holds an answer? she would say as two balls began floating around her head, two small black balls that she made from nothing to float nonthreateningly. The two balls floated slowly towards the window, stopping ahead of each one of them. Their answers would determine what would happen next.

Grey turned his head as he saw the lady named Masako had entered the room, she was another wet headed person in the office who had gotten out of the rain, his eyes began to shift as he looked over Masako, he could see her chakra pattern, the monk he had met years ago taught him how to understand what he was, one of those things being able to sense chakra pattern. His attention snapped, turning his focus back towards the Amekage who had began speaking to the two. Grey's eyes had widened after the water that had dripped from his hair had began to shift and move and change before the water had left the view rang of Grey. Amazed at what had just taken in front of him, he wondered what had caused such an anomaly but then again it was Kya, to Grey he believed her to be something that proved why fear was necessary when dealing with her. She began speaking her intelligent philosophy of why she chose the rainy setting to host a new village. She poked each of their foreheads which left a mark, before disappeared after 2 seconds and continued on he idea's of the rain before turning towards Grey and giving him a question.

"Well....Lady Amekage, my idea of why you chose the rain...was based on the true beauty of the rain. The rain falls with grace and beauty that would leave someone wondering & hoping to understand it. The rain, in a way is also nomadic, it travels until it falls to earth and repeats its cycle of rebirth." Grey gave his own idea and philosophy of his belief on why she chose the rain village, the rain did do exactly as what Grey described. As he explained his idea of the reason she chose the the rainy area, his body began to lift off the ground which was only a few inches, it was a simple reaction due to the fact that Grey began to wonder into thought as he spoke, he woke up after he had finished his philosophy. "Hopefully that's the right idea, Miss Kya." He said to her as he slowly floated back onto the ground from the few inches. He couldn't feel it, but he noticed the ceasing of water drops from his hair. It seems that he began drying off which was good news at the moment.

[Bloodline] - [CQC Masters] Just as with Samurai, years of training has honed the Walker's sense, slowing down CQC combat. This does not make the Walker faster in CQC, but instead slows time to 1/5 its normal speed, allowing them time to react to almost anything at close range.
[Bloodline] - [The Beauty in All Things] Due to an all but unmatched understanding of chakra and its usage, Walker's have learned to literally see chakra formations in everything from people to trees. It does not allow them to see things that would normally be hidden from sight like an Assassin, but instead is mainly to tell if a jutsu is being used, and what the jutsu is capable of.
[Bloodline] - [Balance] If a Walker finds himself relying to heavily on either Yin or Yang, he can even out the pools by adding them together and splitting them evenly.
[Bloodline] - [Way of the Fist] Walkers can utilize two taijutsu styles at a time. They both cost nothing as well. The Walker can also benefit from the stats of both.
[Bloodline] - [Ascension] Walkers have no soft cap, only the hard cap imposed by each rank.
[Bloodline] - [Elevated] Walkers, oddly enough, can hover off the ground and move like this. They cannot fly, but instead as stated, hover a few feet off the ground.
[Bloodline] - [This for That] The Walker can shift their own stats, moving 2 points from one stat to another. For example, if the Walker moves 1 point to speed, he loses 1 point of strength. This can be swapped in battle, but has a 2 post cooldown every time it is done.
[Class] - [PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS] -- The Taijutsu class not only teaches you to ignore pain, but can also make you immune to damage from weak attacks, based on your rank, making you almost immune to damage 2 ranks below you:

She was too busy focusing on Kya's chakra. It was centered in four places, so far as she could tell. Both eyes and both palms seemed to emit more chakra than anywhere else. Grey meanwhile had two different masses inside of him, constantly swirling around each other in a state of almost perfect harmony. It was calm compared to Kya's maelstrom. It wasn't until Kya touched her forehead that Masako felt the true depths of her power. For a brief instant, Masako could feel every bit of energy. And in that moment, she learned everything she needed to know about Kya's power. All the while, Grey had been answering Kya's question, saying something about beauty and grace or something like that. Masako patiently waited for her own turn to speak.

"A legacy." Masako said, not even waiting to hear if Grey was correct. "No one remembers the name of an individual raindrop, but they remember the river and ocean. A raindrop may not wear away a mountain, but a river can cut a canyon through it. We are, each and everyone of us, in our own way, a raindrop. Separate, we are nothing, together, we are mighty." Masako paused for a moment to breathe and collect her thoughts. She turned her head, looking at the raindrops on the window before continuing. "This village is like the ocean, and its shinobi like the river, cutting new paths." She hoped that would be 'philosophical enough to pass as a correct answer. It sounded good, like something that you would dig out of a cheesy proverb book written by some old coot who lived a few hundred years ago.

You know what, Enemy? I confess, I used to be beautiful.

              You still are.

              I used to be strong.

              You still are.

              I used to have courage.

              . . .

I would live up to my name - as a Psycho Demon. Harbinger. Bringer of pain and damnation. The one that no one loved but everyone feared. Does anyone love me now, I wonder? I doubt they fear me as I am now; a shadow of the Shinsei that shadowed Empires.

Kleine . . . you are what you are. The wrath of the north. You will always be as beautiful, gallant, enchanting, terrifying, wretched and chaotic as those lands. You must accept the inevitability of your future - after all that you've done, you know that you dance with destiny.

              - - -

My name is Kleine Heiland, Shinsei Yamana or used-to-be Karnata - many realities for many different versions of me. I can't help but imagine that I've lived many lives within this world around me; there are words and faces that haunt me. I can recall things that bind my spirit to one. I recall a tree, a ten-tailed beast, a land of darkness with a veiled woman in white. Her eyes are blue and her teeth drenched with blood. Behind her is the full moon, shining on me. Revealing to me my past, forked as it remains.

I don't really know what life I used to live before the one I do now - I was reborn to this world as a fragment in memory. I know only a few things, and not minor things, but the most important of things. Not small little whispers within the woodlands, but instead an ominous echo of defamation spoken to me by a darkly thing - me, but from before now.

I can't help but imagine that once, I destroyed the whole world.

Every moment is the same for me as anyone else in this world - except for variables within my movements, skips in my train of thought, bringing me to a different field of vision. I see red skies, and visible chakra raining down. I see a heart beating - an eye opening among it, staring into me. My blue eyes gazing upon it - its red stare glaring back. The beginning of a new world order, where I had lost everyone seeking to gain everything; and then I was gone. I don't know where I went - but I feel that it was somewhere far away, to a land of illusion for a long time where I re-lived past images of false realities. I was a father with many sons - a daughter even - in a ******** up world that I'd ******** up myself. Every reality I jumped into, I brought about the end. I dominated Empires and conquered all around me - and then somehow my greed doomed the world.

              Every time.

And all of these images link together to form a 'persona' - this Kleine within me that I don't like very much, who calls himself the Enemy, who I know to be the Kleine I used to be before God brought me to judgment. He tells me of things I had never wanted to know . . . and he provides me with power. More than anyone around me can ever imagine. More than I myself can handle. He tells me the truth I know; that I am the last true Northerner, the last Heiland, the last Psycho Demon. That the legacy I want is a milestone that I should seek to build.

              . . .

And yet I don't want to. The biggest part of me wants to just be happy - love, live, experience the shorelines of exotic locations and the bodies of exotic individuals. I want to be what I am; young, wild, untapped. Not bound to genocide and blood.

But the impulse always remains, doesn't it? I never leave it. It never leaves me.

I can never not be who I am made to be; the flail of God, who demands a tribute by the blood of billions.

              - - -

His eyes were set to the tower and its infrastructure. He looked around him as disheveled individuals went to and came from the office, peasants seeking alms from the body of the government that sought to claim him. He wore attire much differently than them - a silken belt with embroidered pants and a warm fabric covering his feet, with sandals holding him above the ground. His chest was bare and revealed tattoos. He did not wield a sword or anything of the like - he was entirely as if a civilian in appearance. Entirely as if nobility in demeanor, and yet with a playful grin that many would confuse with genuine approach-ability.

The office was filled with bureaucracy. No matter, though. He was a soldier, and one of the best. They all heeded to him, let him skip lines and say lewd or rude things no matter who received them save for the Kage herself. He remained who he was at heart without others holding his nature over him. He held his superior status over them all, and he liked it that way, as he was born with the right to command lesser men.

That was what the Enemy always said.

"Kleine Heiland, reporting," he said nonchalantly, looking at Kya. "Seeking momentary entertainment by means of your presence. I have a mission, soon, to the barbary lands."

As a priestess of tthe type of god she followed, she knew to be real, it was her duty to make sure all knew the truth, often to ensure that they understood. She administered tests and gave challenges to any she felt needed it. Grey had answered, and he was not wrong. He had not been wrong, to be honest. That thought had, of course, crossed her mind once or twice when she was laying the foundation with God's power. She touched his head as Masako started to speak. While Grey answered honestly, naively, she answered in a "this is what you wanna hear" sorta way. Well, neither of you are wrong. Masako hit the nail on the head, though. You see those balls up there? Those represent us. More like you two. Right now, as you sit here, or as you sit on roofs meditating, you are still. The village doesn't need the dead, and only those who move are alive, you see. The balls ahead of her moved in a shape similar to an infinity symbol. Anyway, enough for this lesson. The reason I called you is because I need fire support. I'm going out to root out a group of barbarians. I'd like you to tag along Masako. Put you through your paces and all that, yeah? As for you Grey... actually you should tag along. Keep an eye on her if I forget to do so. As she spoke she shook off her seemingly preachy demeanor in favor of a more businessy one. And as she looked towards the door she saw him there. What brings you rolling in, she said just before he walked in the room. As he spoke she nodded to his first words, as typical as walking. To his next, she scoffed. Her gaze, remnant of a deity, fell on him whilst she opened her closet and slid a vest made of some loose materials that could almost be armor over her body. You have a mission soon? Yet you seek me out for entertainment? Do not waste your time, dear boy. Life is motion, and we are born moving towards our desires. More than that don't waste mine. Come, Grey, Masako. And do keep up, or ill leave you behind. With that, she'd tap Kleine on his forehead as she passed him by, creating the same link and winking at him wryly, and then begin a quick paced walk down the hallway. [EXIT ILL PICK IT UP TOMORROW.]

Grey let out a slight shiver as Kleine entered the room, for some odd reason he gave him a feeling of darkness within his chakra that he sensed which made him shift his attention immediately, Kleine he said his name was, the male that had entered had an athletic body shape, seeming like he took care of his body often . Shaking it off, or at least trying, he focused back on Masako who didn't try to wait till Kya explained whether he was right or not, instead she explained her answer and hoped for the best. Kya began her explanation who was was right, neither were right but Masako had come the closest apparently. He noticed the two balls that flowed around the air in an infinity sign which the Amekage took note of and explained. She then explained its connection to Grey's daily meditation which continue's to keep his Yin and Yang flow going. Grey was sure that he was the only person that lives in the Rain village that can do the things he can, weirdly enough as it is, does wish he can find someone who can do the same thing. It seems Grey had gotten lost in thought again as he snapped out of it when Kya began to explain about a group she needed.

"Barbarians?" He questioned Grey wasn't always the violent type seeing as he has to follow by specific rules that his mentor had taught him. He must never stray on paths that involves good or evil. He must always stay in the middle path which follows along with Buddhism and Hinduism which is the religions that Grey's mentor had been involved with. Grey's training had involved the teachings of Buddha and the middle path. "Yes, lady Amekage." he said as he would fix his semi-dry jacket, he looked at Masako who she had gave him directions to watch as they follow along with Kya. Grey didn't show any emotion, if he did, it wouldn't really be happiness seeing as he doesn't have a replacement coat. Oh well, he still enjoys the rain so there is no problem with it. The young male does need a house though, seeing as this morning he was just sleep walking. Literally he needs somewhere he can stay where he wont get himself hurt by an unconscious drift in the night. The headache he had earlier had gone now, Grey paid it no mind, placing his hood over his head and leaving the jacket unzipped. His black hair glistened as one of the curls sat on his forehead. He would follow along with the Amekage and nodded with a response to what she said about keeping up. "Yes, i'll try too." He responded with before heading towards the exit, looking at Kleine, something was off about him. Letting out a sigh that was almost like releasing the tension from his body, he quickly followed after Kya [exit].

He wore simple silk clothing across his lower body, and tattoos snaked their way across the skin that was exposed. But where his appearance screamed warrior, the way he carried himself, the way he walked, screamed that he felt superior to everyone in the room. Despite how he carried himself, his own chakra was barely superior to Grey, and still dwarfed by Kya. Perhaps he had delusions of grandeur, or thought he was more than he already was? But the more Masako stared at him, the more uneasy she felt. It was almost like there was something hidden in his chakra. Something dormant.

Masako was pulled back to reality as Kya spoke. Surprisingly, both her and Grey had been right in their own way. Where Grey saw the beauty in the rain, Masako saw the power in the rain. Then, on the drop of a dime, Kya decided that it was already time for a mission. Masako was about to ask her for more info, but Kya was down the hallway in a matter of seconds. Masako ran out of the room, stopping to nod at the noble barbarian warlord in the doorway. She sprinted down the hallway, grabbing her jacket from its hook and followed Kya out into the storm. [Exit]

User ImageShuurin Uchiha
Rank: Genin
Chakra: 175
Stats: 3/3
Class: Ninjutsu
Finding his way to the office of the Kage, Shuurin looked around. It didn't appear very elaborate at least what he could see of it as he peered through the gloom from about a block away. The young Uchiha waited for the flow of foot traffic to continue so he could make his way to the hub of the Hidden Rain Village. Shuurin understood they were in a what constituted a back region Village. Without the scenic beauty of the Leaf or the stoic peacefulness of the Cloud there really wasn't much that would bring outsiders to these parts of the world. Bah, he thought as the flow of people continued in the direction of the office, I'm probably going to miss everything if this keeps up. Sidestepping an old woman, Shuurin hurried on his way. The building was closer now and he could make out the front entrance through the shifting downpour. Makes sense to put the heart of the Hidden Rain Village in the center of the storm. Rolling his eyes a bit Shuurin kept his brisk pace. Avoiding puddles lest he splash water through his sandals, he stopped at the adjoining intersection before crossing the street. Carts and people were milling by in front of the office. It looked like it almost took up an entire block from where he was. Imposing in it's nondescript look. Finding a break in the traffic he slipped between the people and ox driven carts and made his way to the doors. Once inside and out of the rain he waited a minute by the door for the dripping to stop. Pressing his right hand to his hood he used a bit of chakra and pulled the water from his clothing. Removing his hood, he let the small orb of water he had collected in his palm dissipate as he held his hand over a potted plant by the entrance way. Wiping his palm on his now dry jacket he stepped up to the administrators desk and frowned when she told him the Kage was not present at the moment. The secretary extended the offer to wait until she returned to which Shuurin nodded and began exploring the interior to the building. Once out of earshot of the receptionist Shuurin wandered over to the walls to look at the history of the Village scattered throughout. "Well" he said as he walked up to an old painting that showed Amegakure as she was close to her founding. "You definitely missed out on the fun." muttering to himself he wandered a bit further down the building. Here he was with nothing to do and nowhere to go for now. Letting his thoughts wander from the Village to her people to himself and to the history of the world. Day dreaming was a particularly fond hobby of his and here it found his outlet while waiting for the Boss Lady to make her way back. Who knows, maybe there was a clone lurking somewhere that would give him something to do in the mean time but until then he meandered. [?] Replaying back what he knew of the way the Village worked gave him something to keep his mind occupied. There had been a great reset of sorts in the world. Wars had calmed and a true peace seemed to fill the land. Sure, there were the smaller squabbles and sufferings of day to day life still. But no super evil organizations bent on annihilating mankind or giant demons running rampant around the land. As such power seemed to dissipate from those that were left. No one had need of ninjas so downsizing and a lack of emphasis meant a weakening of ninja villages around the continent. Leading to where they were now. A lot of the major world powers had dissolved their Villages officially even though many still lived in what used to be Hidden Leaf or Mist. Since Hidden Rain was pretty much the de facto capital of the Rain Country a standing ninja force had stubbornly decided to hold on. The same could be said of Uzushiogakure. Or at least that's what Shuurin assumed held true. The world politics of the land had taken on a shady hue as well. Everyone minding their own business and not concerning themselves with their neighbors. It meant that past alliances or enemies were being forgotten or forgiven. While nice to think about Shuurin also understood that it left everyone isolated and self sufficient. If you couldn't make it then there you go. Switching gears for a moment as his wandering brought him amongst the row of former Village Kages. Shuurin looked at each one individually thinking of the history behind them. You had those that belonged to shady organizations, some that brought the country to war, while others peace. Sordid, twisted and convulted. That was the history of the Hidden Rain. Nothing noble about it. Shuurin liked that about the place. It seemed very real world as opposed to the sanctions and orders the Hidden Leaf once espoused. His own family was from originally that very land. His grandfather had moved away midway through his life. War and attacks were common at that point and they had decided to move away to a quieter country to try and settle. Like many of the refugees at that time they had spread throughout the rest of the lands and in the Rain Country they found their home. Remembering statistics he had read the population in Amegakure and the surrounding countryside had some of the highest densities for people that had migrated. Strife was behind a lot of that but the Rain Country is a small spit of land situated between three major nations. Between being the common battleground and convenience it was constantly in the crossfire. Now the major powers are no longer in play the Rain is finally having it's chance to flourish. Exciting time to be alive he thought as he stumbled across a book shelf down one of the side hallways. Finding something on the culture and history of this area and several smaller neighboring countries Shuurin found his way back to the main waiting area just outside the office. Setting down in one of the chairs, he slouched comfortably as he propped one leg over his knee and opened the book. Thumbing through the dedications, acknowledgements and letter from the author he found the first chapter and began to read. It wasn't long before the receptionist came back with an update on where the Kage had gone and said that he could try to meet them there. Hurrying himself along the made a few hand signs.[1/4] He remembered how the technique was performed with the varying hand signs and chakra moulding. It was a bit more advanced than anything he had tried thus far though. [2/4] He stepped out into the streets and began building up his chakra. Feeling the rain on his head as he did so he let himself get in tune with their drops. This was what he needed next to perform the jutsu. [3/4] Finally he stepped off the sidewalk and into a rain puddle. Except that he didn't just step and cause a splash. He merged with the puddle and began traveling at a pretty fast rate between rain puddles. [4/4 Rain Puddle Transportation: learned]

"I missed the mission~" He lamented. Armand desperately wanted to put his skills to use. More to the point, he needed contract money to actually...eat. In a past life, he didn't need much to take care of his body...and somehow he knew that. But now...he could really use something to eat. Tap. Tap. Tap. "Kya, I need you to give me work!~" He called out to the office building in general.

NPC - CIVILIAN

User ImageA light smile graced the lips of the girl sitting in the lobby of the Amekage's office as she thumbed through the pages of a worn magazine she had picked up from a coffee table in the room. Every now and then, her black eyes would casually rise to see what was happening in the rest of the office. What was she doing here? Ahahaha. She had no clue. Well, rather, she had no real reason. She wasn't like the others who were sitting around waiting for the kage to appear and grace them with her bare-footed presence. This girl, who wasn't even registered as a ninja, was just here to people watch. As a civilian, she had no business with the kage, and as a teen with no school, she had way too much free time. It was her hobby, one could say, and the kage's office was one of the best places to see something new and strange. Sometimes, she'd even choose a victim for her conversation from one of the more interesting-looking folks.

Although, for all the watching she did, it wasn't like the observer was nothing to look at. She wasn't eye-catching, but she was pretty enough and currently humming a childhood ditty, too boot. Anyone that bothered to really look at and think about her would notice her lack of weapons and just terrible choice of clothes for someone who was about to meet a kage. Her outfit was pretty, most definitely, in a simple way: red scarf, black sailor outfit top with a white shirt underneath, black skirt, a white necktie, black knee-high socks, and black loafers. However, it was also something that almost no ninja in their right mind would dare wear into battle, and most of those visiting the kage were ready to do just that. Certainly interesting enough to approach for those who were perceptive and bored, but otherwise just a harmless part of the background.

✝ " I search for salvation

Orias walked into the building that was recognized as the Amekage’s office. The entire building oozed power and prestige, the vaulted roof of this tower in particular, its height compared to the surrounding buildings, and even down to the décor that decorated the place. It was as if the building itself wanted to boast of its power and the one who resided on its throne. A slight smile adorned his lips, this was very typical of his sister. He wondered how many times he had watched her wage wars and strip valleys of all living inhabitants just to stand as a ruler over all that remained. Tears fell from the eyes of the conquered, blood adorned the grass like a maleficent painting heralding the ending of the war, and the only choice offered to everyone was to kneel to her like the conqueror she was. The same process had likely occurred here. Nice Kya, but these people aren’t like the barbaric tribes of the North. They respect power but won’t be entirely held by it. So how long will your reign last?

Very quickly his eyes flickered around the room as he pushed himself up against one of the poles on the wall. Within his throat and chest he could tell what he wanted, what he felt. It was a primal feeling that was barely being kept within control at the moment. Mentally, he made a track of how long he had been within the village. A few days ago he arrived, two days ago he proved that he had the skills worthy of being a genin, a few weeks were required for him to make the trip from where he previously was located into the Rain. In total it had been a month? Yes, and he was starving….he needed to feed but with very little chances of feeding it would be much harder here than it was before. As that thought crept to the forethought of his mind, his eyes landed on a girl. She was young, not a full child but not yet an adult. At the same time, why was she within the Kage’s room? Her clothing, that wasn’t the clothing of a ninja there was no protection at all. Of course, he didn’t wear traditional ninja clothing either but still it was her eyes that interested him as they too searched over the room. Orias walked over to a chair on the wall adjacent to her and took a seat, relaxing back a bit. “So why is somebody like you waiting in the lobby of the Amekage’s office?”
