He took out a set of grinning halloween lights and started to hang them on the wall, avoiding them as they nipped at him. He'd picked ones with cool blue lights - something that would really set off the more frosty tones of his room. A few gourds here and there added splashes of color - and paperweights - to his table, and the candles added that sort of flickering, dim ambience that any Halloweener worth their candy craved. A few more shadowy-colored ornaments made their way onto his walls, and a few white streamers added an ethereal aspect to the lighting.
Finally, he stood back and looked at his creation - it wasn't half bad. Of course, he could do better, but again... not half bad. He'd somehow transformed his messy dorm room into a lair-like space fit for any 'death knight' or illusionist that looked sort of like a death knight... ...
... he took out a finishing touch - false frost. It was like a paste, but when spread along his window, it became spidery threads of ice on the glass, and when spread on his ceiling, became icicles that dripped down the walls. Liberal application on specific places made his room a little cooler, a little nippier, and in the end, the effect was perfect - a perfect, chilly, halloween dorm.

Faction/Race Reaper, Illusionist
Illusionists are reapers specializing in manipulating visual light, sound and sometimes emotions with their FEAR.
Natural Ability: As an illusionist Reaper, he can easily change aspects of his own appearance without much thought. He can't make it look like he has wings or spikes or anything like that, but he can do cosmetic changes like skin color, hair color, 'makeup', and other such thing. Currently, this is very minor and does only works on himself and things touching him, like his weapon or his clothes. If things leave his person, they also lose any illusory effects. It does not yet work on people other than himself, or on objects held in hand.
Personality:
Generous:
Pelagion doesn't like to see people in need of something, especially if he can give it to them. He'd give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. Need a few silver pumpkin seeds for that thing you've always wanted? Sure! Spilled blood on your dress? Here, have his cloak. Need a guy to feed your minis while you're vacationing? Sure! Free haircut? Goodness you need it! Sure! Essentially, he's a giver. He's less consistent when it comes to receiving gifts, though. Sometimes he feels validated that he, who gives so much, has been given a gift. Other times gifts make him uncomfortable.
Chill:
Pel is okay with almost anything that someone does. He's got his dos and donts but as long as you don't cross his personal lines too much, he's pretty fine with everybody from all walks of life and unlife.
Sarcastic:
Oh he's got a sharp wit. And he uses it. Often. Usually when he really shouldn't..
Trouble:
Screw the rules. Seriously, screw them. Pelagious likes to think that he is above the rules, and lives by his own personal code that happens to coincide with most commonsense rules. The key is that HE made it and HE dictates it to HIMSELF. Nobody can tell him what to do! This means that, where his code and the law diverges, he does get into trouble. And that's just how he likes it.
Flamboyant:
Pel will do what he pleases in both dress and action. He likes to do things that shout I AM ME AND I AM UNIQUE. He likes to wear loud flashy things (in keeping with halloween of course) and very ostentatious cloaks (he loves cloaks). He likes to stand out, and while he may be fairly calm personality wise, he still likes to be noticed and paid attention to.
Pelagion was born to a fairly esteemed family with a tradition of being Boogeymen. Many had attended Amityville, and done at least averagely well, and quite a few served in the Boogeymen and handled things in the human world. This was a centuries old tradition, and Pelagion was expected to follow suit.
Pelagion did not want to. Instead, he rebelled against them and the rules of law. He was a wild little scareling, doing far more tricks than treat, and he did not stop even when his family visited punishment after punishment on him – all minor, all legal, none particularly pleasant.
When he came of age, they sat him down and told him he was going to Amityville. Tomorrow. They hoped he would learn and shape up there, and fall in line with the family tradition.
At first Pelagion was angry at being forced into something he didn't want to do. Then he did his reading, and realized that maybe it wasn't so bad after all. There would be Haloweeners of all sorts there, and, frankly, he was tired of the delinquent brat life. Something new, something respectable would be nice.
But he wasn't going to become a damn boogeyman.

Battle Stuff
FEAR: Y1: Terror Flash (Double Take) Using illusion magic, Pel can make his weapon indescribably terrifying, reflecting his foe's deapest-seated primal fears. This works like Phantasmal killer does in D&D (Without the killing part) in that its pretty much all in his target's head: he activates the ability, their brain does the rest. This also means that no deep-seated fears are revealed (unless they scream them out of course) because all he perceives is his sword in its normal – if creepy – form.

Possible Plots
+ Groomers club: because with so many furry animal halloweeners and minipets, theres got to be someone to coif them up and show them(selves) off!
Pelagion loves minis, Mainly, he likes to look at them, and occasionally takes in poor abandoned minis. While normally he doesn't keep them, he at least takes care of them until he can get them back to the Closet safely or until he can give them a nice, new home.
However, he does have a few that he calls 'his'. Normally only one or two are out of the closet at any given time, but he's working on getting his dorm room sorted so it can handle more.
He particularly loves fluffy, soft, or furry pets, that he can brush and take care of.
Kettle is more or less always out of the closet, happily dooking around and accompanying Pelagion on walks. He is friendly, cuddly, and a little too inquisitive and energetic, often getting into trouble when Pel isn't looking. His favorite spot, of course, is right on Pelagion's neck, which sometimes puts him in conflict with the other boafoxes... but they all know that Kettle is boss, and he is usually triumphant...
Ketton is Kettle's dire rival and possibly his long-lost sibling. Normally peaceful, he frequently gets into fights and spats over Pelagion's attention, leading to him being, mainly, kept in the closet for his own sake. Pelagion likes to spend time with him, though, and will take him out to pet him. Though easy to stress, Ketton is very soothing when not agitated - he loves being petted and attention and will simply flop and allow just about anything to be done to him.
Apple is a bouncy playful thing, and is tough enough to sometimes topple Kettle from his rightful perch. She's a huge snugglebug, and Pelagion keeps her fur very soft...
Timmel is a shy, quiet creature. She is usually out of the closet, but rarely seen as she prefers to hide in Pelagion's dorm. However, she occasionally will come out for a dose of attention before retreating away. Sometimes she will sleep, discretely, near Pelagion. Its very cute.
Amalese is Pelagion's special baby. Someone got a batling and then abandoned it - apparently because it wasn't special enough. Fortunately, Pelagion picked it up and is actively raising her. Her personality is yet unknown, but she is likely to be spoiled by all the attention...
Arex is an Apex Mistwolf that Pelagion's mum bought for him in an attempt to make him more responsible in school. Unfortunately, her plan was misguided, as he is perfectly responsible with his minipets despite not wanting to go to class. It hasn't arrived from the stables yet, but Pelagion visits it and tucks it in with blankets so it shouldn't be long now.
Samantha was a shy little thing with tangled and matted hair when Pelagion found her. Now, her hair is beautiful, shiny, and free of all tangles. Now, she is a little diva, demanding attention, and Pelagion brushes and cares for her hair frequently to keep her that way.
Lizzie was not so much rescued as she found Pelagion and adopted him. She pretty much does what she pleases, and occasionally returns to Pelagion's dorm to be brushed and to give him emotional support, even when he doesnt think he needs it.
Embargo is so named because he likes to hoarde items and sit on them. He is actually pretty unfriendly, and will only grudgingly accept food, attention, and grooming from Pelagion. He certainly won't go into the closet unless he wants to.
Other Pets Poly and Mera These Blooms are sometimes in Pelagion's room, sometimes in the closet, and sometimes wandering around getting into trouble. Its really up to them. They are very playful and very cute.
Sift, Rift, Reiilift (Rei), Lift The Firepaca generally stay in the closet, where they have more space to play around. Pelagion brings them out for grooming and petting, then sends them home.
Gift, however, he keeps out to take care of.
Pelagion doesn't know how Penumbra (Pen) got into his room, but the shadow shion is not leaving, and is accepting brushing. And demanding pets when Pel wants to sleep. And possibly stealing Pelagion's things. And possibly stealing other people's things.
Pelagion doesn't consider Sera his pet, exactly. She's one of his parent's pets that he occasionally finds has drifted to his closet to say hi. She likes tea and treats, and doesn't usually stay with him longer than a few hours.
