Days came and went around here, all test tubes and petri dishes and specimens and....

Oh it was all very busy and productive and he did enjoy it a great deal but sometimes a man got tired of having things spilled on him and running at high speed, stripping as he went, to get into the safety shower.

It was now a little later and KO was heading for the lift that would take him out of the labs. He was dressed in a white lab coat and scrub trousers along with his boots but other than the boots the garments were ill fitting thanks to things going against him today, or rather thanks to some idiot who thought they were a teen prodigy and totally knew what they were doing with that acid.... Spoiler; they had not known, and it had gone fizz.

KO sighed to himself and pressed the button that would summon the lift. Perhaps, just perhaps, he would get through today without anything else unpleasant happening to him.  

[The Time Vortex]

Georgia walks slowly down the hall toward the elevators, a tired expression on her face. As much as she enjoys her work, mundane though it may seem at this stage of her training, some days nothing goes quite right, and it seems the day will never end. At this point she wants little more than a cup of coffee and a chance to give herself a break. She walks up beside KO, standing next to him and waiting for the elevator as well. "Hard day, huh?" she asks when she hears his sigh.

KO turned to the other grunt and rolled his eyes. "I'll say," he drawled, "sulfuric acid is not my friend today...." Humm, and who was this? He didn't recognise her but that only meant that she probably wasn't a chemist. "You been around here long?" he asked as he waited for the lift to arrive. "Name's Kirk, codename KO. And you?" She looked pretty young, maybe early to mid twenties, and she looked... well, tired but not cowed or anything and plenty of grunts and trainees certainly looked that.
