NAME OF CLASS CHORE: Trashology 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Moira *********, Professor Janitor

General Information: In Trashology 101, students will learn the valuable skills of cleanliness and machine operation. All around campus, trash and waste and other icky things are taken care of by Moira's sorta-patented Trashbot Waste Disposal Units! But they need to be emptied sometimes and there's just too many of them for Moira to handle on her own...

The Course: The Trashbot Waste Disposal Units (or Trashbots) zip around the campus and collect trash, etc. before returning to their home base in Moira's Fortress of Janitorial Solitude. This home base is a massive, warehouse-like room with a cold concrete floor, rusting steel girders, and a rather pervasive smell. The Waste Disposal Chutes are also set into the floor - huge tubes that lead down to a rather foul cavern below, infested with all manner of vermin. Students must deal with the Trashbots... by whatever means necessary.

Did we mention that the Trashbots are ten-foot-tall ramshackle monstrosities of rusting metal, covered in blades and dumpsters and rust? And that they don't particularly like letting go of a thing once they have it? And that their programming as to what counts as 'trash' is spotty at the best of times?

Mechanics - Solo:

Students who attempt Trashology 101 solo are certainly brave, taking on the Trashbots without any other assistance! Upon entering the Trashbot home base, intrepid soloists are faced with five active Trashbots, each of whom would love to scoop you up and drop you down the Waste Disposal Chute.

The Trashbots must be defeated one at a time, in five separate 'waves'.

Wave One: Roll 1d20-
------- If you roll 6-20: you successfully dodge the first Trashbot. It runs into a wall and deactivates.
------- If you roll 1-5: the Trashbot grabs you and dumps you down the Waste Disposal Chute! You'll have to try again...

Wave Two: Roll 1d12-
------- If you roll 6-12: you duck behind a dumpster! Your cunning hiding place confuses the second Trashbot. It toodles away after a few minutes and leaves you alone.
------- If you roll 1-5: the Trashbot grabs you and dumps you down the Waste Disposal Chute! You'll have to try again...

Wave Three: Roll 1d8-
------- If you roll 5-8: using all the resources at your command, you manage to trip the third Trashbot. It flops around feebly for a minute before deactivating.
------- If you roll 1-4: the Trashbot grabs you and dumps you down the Waste Disposal Chute! You'll have to try again...

Wave Four: Roll 1d6-
------- If you roll 4-6: a hapless gnome runs by. You chuck it into the fourth Trashbot's main collector. Thus appeased, the Trashbot leaves you alone.
------- If you roll 1-3: the Trashbot grabs you and dumps you down the Waste Disposal Chute! You'll have to try again...

Wave Five: Roll 1d4-
------- If you roll 3-4: you end up next to a particularly rancid garbage bag, which you can just barely heave at the fifth and final Trashbot. The bag explodes on impact, showering both you and the Trashbot with ick - but the Trashbot flings itself down the Waste Disposal Chute, leaving you the last one standing. In need of a shower, but standing!
------- If you roll 1-2: the Trashbot grabs you and dumps you down the Waste Disposal Chute! You'll have to try again...

If you make it through all five waves, you are deemed a Trashology Hero! Moira will put your name down on her notice board for all to see. You will gain the admiration of your peers! Maybe.

If you get punted down the Waste Disposal Chute, you end up in a huge cavern full of garbage, verminous minipets, and gnomes who got tossed out by mistake. You may leave the cavern dump through a tunnel that lets out near the Creepateria.

Mechanics - Group:

Students that enter in groups of 2 or more must face a different challenge! This challenge may be met by very large groups if desired, so if you want to form a mini-army of Trash Soldiers, feel free!

When the students enter, each of them are snatched up by a Trashbot, and no matter how hard they struggle they can't quite get free... but they can sort of steer the Trashbots around! The goal is to steer the Trashbots into each other in order to free your fellow students and yourself from their stinky grips.

Each Trashbot has 20 HP. To attack another Trashbot, you must roll for two things: your damage and your accuracy.

With each post, roll 2d6. The first dice is your ACCURACY, if you hit or not! Even you hit, odd you miss! The second dice is your DAMAGE. There are no modifiers: whatever the second dice rolls is the damage you deal to your target!

Remember in each post to state both your target (i.e. Character A's Trashbot) and your own Trashbot's HP! Keep in mind you are damaging the Trashbots only - character HP is completely unaffected.

Once your Trashbot hits 0 HP, it deactivates and releases you. At that point, you should move out of the way lest you be stepped on by an active Trashbot! Students cannot attack Trashbots from the sidelines until there is only one active Trashbot left on the field.

When there is only one Trashbot left 'alive', the students on the sidelines may begin attacking by throwing trashbags at it! The dice roll is the same as before: 2d6, first dice for accuracy, second for damage.

When all Trashbots are deactivated, students are kindly asked to dump any loose garbage down the Waste Disposal Chutes before leaving. Moira thanks you!

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are at any point in time grabbed and thrown into the waste disposal chute. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Siku winced as he approached the massive warehouse-like room, the smell already getting to him. Demons shouldn't have to help clean, it was the most lowly of jobs and surely there were a few monsters that could do it right? How was this even a class, he was yet to get the point but here he found himself, nose curled up and rolling at the sleeves of a midnight black poets shirt.

Icy gaze followed one of the Trashbots zooming about, the beast of a machines sending a cold chill over even the frost demon. Not of fear, but for the filth. Gross. This was going to call for two showers. It was on a step further in that he looked to his course partner and shot the ghoul a grin. Merry, Merry the prettiest thing in the room, aside from himself.

"Ready to get dirty ghouly?"
The innuendo laced coo might have made him feel a little more at ease but the turn of head was his own downfall. As soon as the last word left his lips the demon was captured and hauled up by the waist. "Oh jack damn it! Watch the shirt you rust bucket!" Spinar squirmed, trying with all his might to get free but it was no use.

Merry was a monster, and she had gotten roped into this job. Features pinched, nose wrinkled, the ghoul was staring into the warehouse like room with disgust. Dirty didn't bother the ghoul, she had absolutely no issues rolling around in mud if it was for a good time, but this? The smell permeated the air, overwhelming all else, and for a ghoul with a sensitive nose, it was awful.

"It's disgusting," she whined, wings drooping, before shooting Siku an all suffering frown. "How is this a class? This seems like a punishment. Why are we being punished?" Had someone seen them? She didn't think so!

The chimera sighed, which was a mistake, cause the following inhale about made her gag. Distracting, enough for her to miss the lumbering bot wheeling up behind her until claws had closed around her and hauled her off her hooves. "Aaaiiieee!" The screech was loud and undignified, and the ghoul was scrambling at that metal claw, trying to tear herself free like some panicked cat. "Put me down!"

Her flailing wasn't exactly useless. She'd managed to change the bot's trajectory at least. "Siku!"

Merry was right this did seem like some sort of sick punishment, but unlike the ghoul he hadn't even thought about if they had been seen. Nope he was more thinking along the lines of this being a cruel joke on every student in general. Then things took an even more disgusting turn than the stench of the room, they were both captured in the rusty claws of two trashbots and no amount of flailing was getting them free.

Jack damn it.

The second year looked around for a moment, noticing as Merry's movements brought a change in her bots. That was useful, a smirk to the call of his name and the demon was putting all his weight into a thrash. With the motion the bot that held him turned and ended up slamming against the side of Merry's. "Generally I love to hear a ghoul screaming out my name, though screecheart, would you mind being a little more violent than verbal?.." Snickering cheekily the demon pressed his tongue to the front of his lips, jutting out the metallic snake bites he wore, eyes trained on the ghouls knowing she'd understand.

The crash of bot on bot was jarring. Merry winced, tail snapping up to coil around her ankles as she drew her legs up and ducked her head. An automatic reaction.

When she uncurled there was a large dent in the side of her trashbot, and she blinked down at it before Siku's voice brought her attention back to him. The smirk earned him a peek of her tongue as she stuck it out at him, but yes, she did understand.

It was just...getting the hang of it that was a little on the challenging side.

She thrashed, sending her bot towards Siku's, but the timing was off and she missed it by an inch. "Oh Jack damnit."

Siku smirked, his own body shaking with the hit. But the dent in the ghouls trashbot made up for his newly messy hair. The shag of white had him a little unfocused as he tried to steer the bot in for another attack, waiting of course for Merry's tongue to be back in her mouth less she bite the magical little appendage off.

This attack however missed, by a mile when he got around to trying it.

"Keep trying ghouly," The demon huffed a bit of encouragement, a snicker laced one as he tried to pull his bot back in place for her. "As I'd rather not smell anymore like rotten garbage than I already do." He frowned looking to a rip in his sleeve, jack damn it.

Merry kept trying, and this time she had a measure of success. Even if that success was ramming her bot into the other boil's hard enough to be jarring. It hurt her ears, the sound of metal scraping along metal, and they snapped back in a hard press against the side of her head, palms pressing into them.

She was also worried about her wings. The bot was being non-to-gentle with her, and she could feel flight feathers bending. It was very distressing!

"Jack!" He yelled slightly, white hair falling down from the jar to cover his face. Icy orbs peered out and he noticed his bot sparking. "Few more like that screechie," he purred towards the ghoul. Trying to get his own to back into her but it only managed to shake him around a little more.

"Working on it!" She clawed at the machine holding her, throwing her weight to one side as their bots circled near again, and was rewarded by the ear splitting sound of metal scraping on metal. Not a hard hit, but something was better than nothing, right?

That sound was going to drive him to insanity. Metal on metal, he made note to not makeout with creeple with piercings. He cringed as the bot shook and it's stink assaulted his nostrils again. This was by far worse than getting turned into a fox fire, that much was for sure. On a throw of his own weight he tried to catch Merry's bot with his own.

Really, Merry just wanted to get out of the robots grasp so she could go take a nice long shower. It smelled foul here, and the claws were digging in uncomfortably.

Determined, she throw her weight as hard as she could to the side as the bots got near each other again, and she was rewarded by a loud crash as they collided. "Thah's more like it!"

Merry was apparently much more destructive than himself, though at the moment that frustrated him more than made him proud to be an elegant demon. Frustration full he slung his body into the arms around him, causing the bot to finally clip Merry's bot on a loud scrape of metal.

Merry was just occasionally lucky. She attempted to throw her weight again, to get the bot moving in the direction she wanted it, but it veered off course at the last second and didn't even touch Siku's. "Jack Damn..." It was followed by a frustrated growl.

Spinar shared in Merry's frustration, but didn't curse. Not yet, at least not aloud. Inwardly he was a storm of jack dammit it after another. Luckily enough as he tried again his bot went sailing into Merry's for a hard smack. The sound of metal once more having his toes curl against the soles of his boots.

If the smell didn't pass him out soon, that noise was going to give him one hell of a headache.

Oh, that sound was beginning to grate on the ghoul's nerves, but they couldn't stop now. Both bots were beginning to show some very serious signs of wear, and if they just kept it up...

With a loud growl the chimera was throwing her weight to the side, sending her bot crashing into Spinar's with a clang loud enough it had Merry clamping her hands over her ears.

It had left a very satisfying dent though.
