"Lie to me. Come on it'll be fun," he said to her. So she did. He laughed at the absurdity of her lie and she laughed too."Lie to me and try a little harder this time," he said to her. So she did. Again he laughed, for her lie was poor, but at least it was a little better.
"Lie to me and, really, this time try to make it believable," he said to her. So she did. And still he laughed, for her lie was still to outlandish to be true.
And so it continued until one time he asked her to lie to him and so she did, but this time, he did not laugh. "That's a lie right?"
"Yes," she replied. And so he laughed and laughed and laughed until she showed him that she had lied, but only in saying yes. Standing over him, she smiled, thin and without humor, "Lie to me. I dare you."
