Seraphine was nervous. She didn't quite know why she was nervous, she only knew that she was, and both annoyed her. It wasn't even her wedding, what did she have to be nervous about? Pushing the irritating thoughts away with a huff, Sera instead focused on getting ready, which included struggling to fully zip up her dress because she could totally do it herself (that was a lie, she could not).

Anastasia held a pink ribbon in her teeth as she ran circles around her struggling trainer, feeling excited for a reason she didn't quite understand, but that mattered little.

The brunette huffed and slouched forward a little, standing with her good arm awkwardly held behind her and paused for a few moments, trying to act like she definitely was not having trouble getting ready because she only had one hand, and instead she asked, "Hey, Rosie, how're you doing?" Nervous though she was (despite attempting to ignore it), her friend had to be ten times more nervous.

"Goooooood!" Rosie cooed back to Sera's words.

"Okay, honey, you're going to need to stop bouncing." Another voice said with a tone of kind amusement.

"Oh-! Right, I'm sorry!"

When it came to prep rooms, this venue certainly wasn't skimping. Giving enough changing space then Rosie would ever really need for her wedding, but this way it didn't mean that the pokemon would be crowded.

As of now they just needed to occupy the main rooms, leaving the closet for their normal clothes they had arrived in and clothes for Rosie to change in later once the reception was done. as well as any supplies that Alex had brought to help Rosie get made up.

Rosie sat in one of the chairs at the vanity, though at the moment she faced away from it, and toward a women with brown hair, already made up in long loose curls around her shoulders.
Rosie held perfectly still as the women carefully brushed some subtle color over Rosie's eyelids, a different brush between her teeth as she narrowed her eyes in concentration.
She had done this countless times before, but there was no way she was going to leave margin for error this time.

Alex pulled the brush away from Rosie's eyes, allowing the girl to blink them open, taking a moment to look over at Sera.

"There Sera, What do you think so far?" Alex asked, busying herself with the next step of the makeup process.

Rosie smiled at her best friend, and maid of honor, seeing that she had already gotten the dress on. Excitedly the girl made a gesture for Sera to come over, so she could zip up the dress for her.

"Is that the ribbing you're going to ware Anastasia?" Rosie asked, unable to help a delighted giggle at the sight of the running Umbreon.

A number of Rosie's own pokemon were gathered in the room. While Vahy'n remained down stairs with Nana, Brucie and Luke to welcome the guests,
Kiss was making her way around to the number that had opted to stay with Rosie and get ready, making sure that Ballet and Northern looked their best, while Pop, already ready sat in one of the chairs watching Alex putting make up on Rosie with idle interest.

Okay, so maybe she wasn't nervous - she just looked excited. Well, whatever; that was probably better anyway. Anastasia gave Rosie a muffled, excited noise in response to her question, and paused in her circling of her trainer to go bound over to Rosie - only because she was quite sure her trainer wouldn't be going anywhere without her.

Sera headed over as well a moment later, both because Alex asked her a question and because Rosie beckoned her over. The brunette stooped a little to better check out her friend's makeup. While it had been over a year since she'd last really touched her own makeup, she'd used it for so long before that that she was still quite able to see expert application when she saw it. "Looks awesome," she said after a moment or two, her eyebrows raised. "Really awesome."

Rosie beamed, and Alex looked proud of the assessment, turning back to her pallet of colors and selecting the one that would need to be applied next.
"Good, because you're next and then we're done."
It had been a busy morning for the ladies, not only did they have to get their hair done for the ceremony, with a little help from some professionals on that end. but they had to get their nails done the night before- Alex was the one to do everyone makeup.

In the mean time Rosie scooted over to better face Sera, Reaching out so she could help her finish zipping up her dress.
"I think we're making good time~" Rosie said cheerfully.

Rosie could feel herself getting more and more excited with each step of this process. Her hair was done up already, and so couldn't get over how perfect it looked, her makeup was almost done, and then she would be able to get into her dress, and have someone help her pin the vile over her hair.

Though, she had to admit there was something about this moment here that she wouldn't ever forget, Her, Her best friend ever, a women she practically already considered family, all of them only half dressed primping and making themselves look beautiful. If Rosie wasn't so excited about the fact that this was her wedding day then it would have felt like such a perfect girls day in.

"Sera that dress looks so cute on you~" Rosie said. "I've missed you wearing things like that."

Alex reached out to touch Rosie's chin, moving her back to where she can continue to work on her makeup

She would be next? Sera frowned lightly for a moment or two before replying, "Okay." It would be really weird to wear makeup again after not wearing it for so long - which was pretty much how she felt wearing this dress. Even when Rosie zipped up her dress for her and she straightened up to adjust it a little, it still felt strange. It was kind of funny, almost, how much things had changed since her car accident.

But those were thoughts she didn't really need to be thinking right now, and Sera pushed them away in favor of answering Rosie, "Thanks, I think?" On second thought, she probably should've just left it at 'thanks' but foresight never was one of her strong points.

Alex worked in silence as she concentrated, and while Rosie would have loved to be able to talk to Sera during this, she was still just trying to do her best to keep still so that Alex wasn't messed up.
It wasn't terribly long before Alex, putting on the final touches on the girls lips sat back, examined her work, grinned, and gesture for Rosie to finally take a look in the mirror to get her approval.

Rosie spent a moment blinking at her reflection before she let out an excited gasp and leaned forward a little "Oh wooow Alex! You made me look so pretty!"

Alex, who appeared to looked pleased with herself just waved a hand at the younger women, making a small dismissive sound from between her teeth.
"I'm glad you like it sweety" the brunette said with a smile, then turned to look at Sera "Alright, you're next, we better hurry before we run out of time. Rosie you need to go finish getting dressed."

"Alright- Rosie agreed, spinning where she sat so she could face Sera and stand up, giving her friend her turn in the seat.

Sera made a quiet sound of amusement as Rosie admired Alex's work in the mirror, then moved to sit once now that it was her turn. This would be doubly weird - she wasn't used to wearing makeup after so long, but even then, she was used to applying it herself, not having someone else do it for her.

"Alrrriight, let me find where I put your color notes." Alex said, but before she did the women reached out to hand Sera a tube. "While I do that why don't you prime you're face."

It took only a moment of rummaging in a few of the bags she had placed on the vanity for her to find the paper she had been looking for, then started to gather the pallet she would need.

Rosie got a little distracted as she made her way over to the closet where her gown was hanging. Kiss Kiss having hopped up into her trainer's arms and stared stary eyed at how pretty she looked.
Rosie giggled holding the Raichi in both arms and spinning lightly with her.
"You look so cute Kiss!" Rosie told the pokemon back, the pink bow on both of her ears, and one at the end of her long whippy tail.

"What did you do to make you look so pretty?" Norther asked with a little jingle as she drifted over to take a look at Rosie.
Today was an odd day... everyone seemed really excited, some people were nervous too at the same time.
All in all Northern was getting the idea that this was a good thing, and the sheer delight that Rosie was feeling alone was enough to infect the Jirachi, even if she didn't quite understand what this was all about.

Northern had stuck with Rosie most of the day, helping when she could to get ready and doing her part, it made her confused why Luke wasn't allowed to come help, but she remembered the humans saying that that was an explicit rule. Luke wasn't allowed to see Rosie. wouldn't that make them sad? she knew for a fact that It used to.

"Its just make up" Rosie explained with a bright smile. "It adds a little color to your face to bring out certain features, if its done right."

"Ohhhh" Northern cooed in fascination. "So, are we going to get make up too?" She asked

"Do you want some?" Rosie asked, her eyebrows arching as she perked up with this idea.

"Sure!" Northern agreed reacting off of Rosie's delight. tilting her head and following after Rosie as she hurried back to the vanity.
Peering over the girl's shoulder as the trainer dug through the colors, pulling up a stick of lipstick, one that seemed a closer match to the gems on the pokemon's body.

"'Kay," Sera said, accepting the tube without hesitation, though she did twist it around in her fingers for a couple moments, looking at it thoughtfully before twisting in her seat to face the mirror and began to do as Alex bid her.

Anastasia resumed her running in excited circles, the ribbon still held in her mouth.
