I was sad when I saw that announcement.
My beau read it, too, and was like "So, basically, they don't have the money and said screw it?"
To which my reply was, "No, they have the money, they just don't want to put in the time."
Sigh.
Also, for the record, before we go spreading misconceptions, Tentacl isn't a porn site, it was a social site for meeting other adults (sorta in the same line as dating sites), the 18+ clause has something to do with legal liabilities.
