Tales of Symphonia is my second favorite game of all time! It's fantastic. I love all the characters, I love the world, I love the story, and I love the writing! To be honest, it's so good that I think it's spoiled me, because in ten years, I've only played one other JRPG that I think is as good.
I tried playing Abyss, and I'll probably pick it up again sometime, but honestly I didn't care for it.
What little I played of Phantasia I liked, though!
Symphonia is my all time favorite! I made a rp account on instagram for Colette and it's super fun! I thought Abyss was okay, the game got better as it went on. The best part was probably the character development. Phantasia is another one of my favorites. I think I liked it just because it was the first in the series. It kind of took over my life for a while. sweatdrop
