Upon the question of dating, Alex's face turned red, the older child appearing quite flustered as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Ah....Err...I mean..." He looked up at SHiro and waved, smiling up at her. "Hello." He was pretty eager to change the conversation around.

'we are too young to date, but we are best friends." she said

X then saw Shiro and smiled when she said hello

Ene, unlike what people usually would do, waved the peace sign as her greeting to Shiro. She half smiled and tried to say something. Nothing came out.

X immediately hugged Alex. She buried her head onto his shoulder
"I just...got horrible news..." she whimpers.
"Jaster is..."

"hey X!" Sophia smiled entering the room
"Can you tell me something."

"if its about the big bad horrible people, I don't want to." X said hugging Alex tighter, she seemed scared again.

"Oh," Ene looked away but her ears stayed tuned in.
She was a curious child, which had a knack of getting her into trouble, but X seemed to interest her slightly. Turning back to X, Ene tried to help her. "S-she shouldn't h-have to do something she doesn't want to."

Sophia looked at Ene and nodded sighing
"you are right....I just...." she stopped
"nevermind."

X hugged Sophia
"its ok, you'll know what to do soon. I just don't want to be hurt by the bad guys..."

Shiro backed up a little as the girls dealt with what sounded like a big situation. She didn't know what they were talking about and felt bad for the girls. They seemed upset. She rubbed the back of her head. She looked at the girl known as X. "Um ..is everything alright?"

Sophia whispered in X's ear then backed up.
"im headed back to the headmaster's office. I'll see you around then?"

X nodded
"mmhmmm!"

Sophia left the cafeteria.

X sighed heavily. She looked like she wanted to cry.
"not really. One of my friends.....he lost a really bad battle and....." she didn't how how to explain it so Ene or Shiro would understand.
"...the big bad darkness hurt him badly. They separated him from his heart...."

She looked towards Alex, hoping that he knew what she meant.

"That sounds bad. Do you have to go do something? I-I mean," Ene looked away. "Nevermind..."
She just couldn't find the right words to say. Her tongue was tied and, yet, she felt slightly comfortable. She sighed and turned away for a moment. I'm really screwing this up, aren't I?

Alex seemed to be a little uneasy from X's outburst, but still was there to console her as she held onto him, the boy sort of patting her head. "Errr...Yeah..." He said as X explained in vague details about what had happened.

"Alex.....Jaster was killed by the new superior of the organization....his heart is here, but the organization has his nobody." she said sadly.

"Jaster is a heartless"

Shiro had no idea what to say. She had lost several friends throughout the years to darkness. They too all became heartless. In her mind, the best thing she could have done for them was set their hearts free by destroying their heartless and hope that their nobody had been destroyed too.
Clearly this Jaster figure was a friend of theirs and meant a lot to them. She couldn't say that they should destroy his heartless and his nobody, it would sound too harsh for such a sensitive girl. She knew the only way to return a heartless to a human was to destroy it and it's nobody...she just hoped the girl knew that too. To destroy something that had the face of someone you care about, it seemed like one of the hardest things to do. Shiro certainly did not want to upset her.
Shiro placed her hand on X's shoulder. "I'm so sorry for your loss..."
